SO EASY AND AMAZING! If I could give 10 stars, I would. I called 1-800-GotJunk, Sin City Junk Removal, Republic Services to remove a small freezer from my garage. $45 was the cheapest! Republic's 3rd party was going to charge $75!!! I called Nevada State Recycle - FREEEEEEE drop off and it could not have been easier. Fast, easy and efficient drop off, especially is all you want is to correctly recycle broken household items, spent batteries, (and any other materials that should not be thrown in a landfill) - without waiting for cash out. Who has the desire to positively review a recycling joint? Don't you just post warnings about how much more shiesty they can be than the other guys? Nevada State Recycle is completely different. Short story: back up, unload, take off. The full experience: the rep on the dock was super nice, polite, and helpful. I popped the trunk and my the time I got to the back of the car, we were half unloaded. These folks are extremely friendly and accommodating. I pulled up and 2 employees approached my car immediately and asked if I needed help. I only has 2 laptops that I retrieved from the rear hatch. I was helping a friend get rid of some e-waste from her deceased father's estate. Had a couple of tube TVs which are an issue. Came here. There is a recycling fee for them because of their contents, but the guy cut me a deal and was able to take them off my hands. Happy to send any other business their way. Good people. read more

This place was very easy to deal with. I showed up with an old 50-inch plasma TV that recently died. They had me back up to their loading dock. The guys unloaded it from my pickup bed right away. There was no charge and they took some old inoperable digital cameras and some old computer circuit board I had pulled. The only thing they could not take were the rechargeable batteries I had. But I know Best Buy will take them. Lots of garbage that contains toxic and rare metals that won't end up in the landfill. read more

Took my 55 inch flat screen tv for recycling no charge. Wonderful. They also helped to unload. They're helpful.

If you find yourself needing to get rid of electronics that are dead or no longer used Nevada State Recycle is worth a look. They do charge a small but reasonable fee if you ask them to come to you to pick something up. Or if you don't mind loading it up yourself you can take it down to them and they'll take it off your hands for free. I took an old printer down there and it was no hassle at all to drop it off. 4 Stars. Please don't toss old electronics in the trash. Do the right thing and let Nevada State Recycle take care of it. read more

I know a lot of people in Las Vegas just throw batteries in dumbsters despite the hazard on the environment. But I cannot do this. There are very few places that properly recycle or dispose old batteries in Las Vegas. I found this place at the last minute. The gentleman to whom I left my old batteries was friendly and even asked me if I wanted to keep the tiny box where I put my old batteries. OMG!!!! A place to stop throwing it all "AWAY" does anyone know where away is anyway?? I was able to let go of so many things I had been hoarding because I felt bad and knew there had to be a better way to be disposed of. My cassette tapes, dvd,VHS, blow dryers, random small electrical stuff. Thank goodness they are here!! It was easy to find and they were friendly and ready help me unload my stuff. I was also able to bring reusable bags, they just dumped my stuff in bins and gave back the bags!! Ok this is one of those conundrums we all come up against. So you have all this electronic trash, hardware, old phones, hard drives, monitors, key boards, printers, etc. you get the picture. I searched the Internet for what, how and where to safely dispose of this type of trash. Charlie the owner was so kind and so helpful, just superb! Got to love a man that says what he means and does what he says. He not only came and picked up a huge box for me he did it at no charge. Then sent me a certified certificate of destruction. Some companies, charge for pick up or you have to bring it to them or they don't offer to wipe off the data or don't give you a certificate. Charlie gave me peace of mind...Highly recommend him and his team! read more

So glad I found these guys. I have been wanting to get rid of my old TV's for sometime now. The driver that came to my house was so nice. He was by himself and had to carry two TV's from the second floor. He was awesome. I also gave them another TV, printer, shredder and stereo speaker. The company only charges for the TV's ($40 for the first TV and $10 for each additional TV) which I find very reasonable. Will definitely call them again when I have more to recycle. What a convenience to have them pick up the stuff from your home. read more

What an awesome find these guys are. Scheduled an appointment to pick up old electronics and they were here almost to the minute! Had the chance to responsibly recycle old TVs, All-In-One Fax/Copier/Scanner, tons of old RCA connectors, co-axial cable, speakers, sound bars, toaster oven, old home theater equipment, converter boxes, old VCR and DVD players -- now I have a lot more storage room in the house and I did not have to load up my SUV and drive to a recycling center.
