Instead of just letting me go, she proceeded to tell me that was why I had been sent to them and wanted to schedule an appointment. She told me all I needed was proof of income and a valid I.D. So I made an appointment with her and spent over 2 hours only to be told they needed more information to validate my income. I asked her if I had the individual, whom works for the government, write up a receipt/letter if that would work and she said it would. I went back the next day with the requested documents and spent another 2-3 hours only to be told they couldn't give me a loan because of my bad credit. Then as if to add insult to injury I found out a bit later that they did a hard inquiry on me. WTF!!! This obviously affected my credit and will for the next couple of years. What a huge waste of my time and left me in a worse spot then when I answered that phone call.
