It's got to be redesigned. They should move the tee boxes up so you can hit an iron for the layup or a driver onto the second longer fairway. As far as the Clubhouse goes, it's not a restaurant with a bar, you simply walk in, get a warm welcome from Mary and then tee off. It's not Valhalla. As far as the golf carts, it's a par 3 course. It's not that bad to walk by any means. I rarely see anyone use a golf cart there outside of the staff.

I thought "Cool". I'm not a golfer, but I'm not going to turn down a good time. Besides, I've been wanting to see how it turned out, especially after so many people in the area were whining about it going in and messing up their neighborhood. After looking around and watching others I decided that, while I'm not a golfer, that I could be at least as good as some of the others I saw. I'd gone golfing only once, it had been over 25 years since that ill-fated event. We were on the 2nd deck. It was the middle of December. Yes, it was cold, but there are some awesome heaters that kept you warm if you were basically behind the red line. Some asked me if I was cold when I went up to golf. I said "I'm from Michigan. I'm OK in short sleeves until it hits about 40°." This was a catered event, in that the food and beverage were provided by Top Golf. The food was surprisingly good for finger foods. The spinach/artichoke dip was astounding, and the mac & cheese was pretty stellar. Our server (whose name I didn't get) was ever-present and did a great job keeping the area clean and keeping up with our group as far as drinks went. The Golfing portion was actually pretty fun. There were a number of different types of games you could play and the scoring/tracking system was very highly sophisticated. Top Golf is an impressively large, expansive facility. We only got to see a portion of it, but I counted at least 3 bars and a gift shop. While I'm not much of a golfer, this trip to Top Golf was a lot of fun. I think I may want to come back and try it again some time.
