Such as: the ramp that leads up to the playground structure that's accessible to wheelchairs and strollers, the different kinds of swings with different kinds of seating arrangements, the cruiser that can accommodate more than one person, and other little features and details. My kids had fun going from one thing to the other. They especially liked the slides -- there are a few. It was cold as (snow)balls when we visited, but the playground was so fun that my kids paid no mind to the cold and we stayed there a long time. The view is so beautiful here. The park overlooks the Ohio River, and across the river you can see the Louisville skyline. I kept trying to take photos of the view, but you know how it is: The photos never live up to the real experience. The Ohio River Greenway runs by Ashland Park. Take that trail southeast, and you'll find shops and restaurants in downtown Clarksville. The park is super close to lots of fun things.

It has a min height requirement of 54 inches to ride alone or 48 inches to ride with a companion. I love pirate ship rides and for years Kentucky kingdoms giant one has been my favorite. I can remember riding this ride over and over consecutively as a kid because it was so fun and never had a long wait. Always have to sit on the back row and do what the signs warn you not to do. Which is throw your hands up high and rise to your feet when coming back down from the top. Overall great younger kid friendly ride that I've have a lot of great personal memories for myself and my kids at.

I have been coming here since I was young and have always mostly enjoyed it (except for that time 10+ years ago where I was told to get off the floor for my birthday song that I requested because apparently that song was being used for the "boys only skate" which upset me.) Overall the place is pretty clean, well maintained, and the staff are nice. The only thing I dislike is the "girls/boys only" skate events, thankfully they don't happen often. If you are hanging out with friends, it can be a bit hard to hear each other speaking when on the rink.
