I seem to collect gray-haired male comedians. My ophthalmologist is one. My dentist is another. And now I've collected yet a third: a jovial gray-haired gentleman who gave me advice on caring for my freshly-cleaned shiny, sparkly wedding ring that I can completely ignore--but was truly funny. But we need to work backward. After 40 years of marriage and weight gain, I needed my wedding ring resized. Two jewelers I checked with estimated a 2-3 week turnaround, longer with the 1st store since the jeweler was on vacation. My wife looked online, found Two Sisters and saw the business had great reviews. The reviews were right. Dropped the ring off yesterday and picked it up today. Not only was my ring perfectly resized (which was determined yesterday by a very friendly lady behind the counter) but thanks to an expert cleaning my ring shines and sparkles just like on the day my bride slipped it onto my finger at our wedding. When I picked up the ring, the lady wasn't there but there was a friendly young man and...the gray-haired male comedian. His advice for caring for the shiny ring? On a sunny day when I'm driving, hang my hand with the wedding ring out the car window, point it at the other cars and blind them with my bling. I intend to use that. Believe me, he had other suggestions, one potentially painful but might just work. This is our go-to jewelers now. I came in about 6 months ago to get my engagement and wedding bands soldered together. They completed the request quickly but I quickly noticed that they did not solder them well (see photos). The bands were off center and the solder looks poorly done. Well, six months later one of the bands has cracked right above the solder. Clearly the integrity of my rings were compromised. It was too loose on my finger and had become a little bent of our shape over the years so I took it to Two Sisters and they were so helpful and sweet! They got my size and we're able to resize it and reshape it back to look like a ring - crazy I know! I am so grateful with how it turned out and how lovely it looks. I received a family heirloom ring recently and wore it a few times before I knew it needed to be sized down to reduce the risk of losing it unintentionally! I don't wear much jewelry and have not been in the market for a local jeweler until now, but I'm so glad I took a chance on Two Sisters! I popped in recently and Deborah helped me figure out what size I needed and estimated the work would be done in about two weeks. I was surprised when she called me back the next day-- my ring was ready for pickup! When picking up my ring, I tried it on and it wouldn't fit. We aren't sure what happened, but I took the ring home to try fitting over the weekend. Deborah told me to bring it back if it didn't end up fitting and she'd have it sized up, free of charge. I brought it back and, same story, got very quick service and had my ring back-- perfect size-- a few days later. I'm thankful to have found such a professional, knowledgeable, and passionate proprietor care for my ring as much as I do. I'll be back whenever I need work done on my ring or other jewelry. It's been 12 years since I first walked into Two Sisters Jewelry. They moved from their original spot down to the bottom of the Manette Bridge. While Pat has retired, Deb continues on with the excellent jewelry store they have always been. I find unique and interesting jewelry whenever I go in to visit. My financee and I wanted to get a ring appraised. They acted as though they were inconvenient and did want to help. Very rude, very terse, and acted as though we were homeless people and were in great need of money, which we weren't. It was a waste of 5 minutes, which I'll never go back. After reading the reviews, I guess we would have been treated better if we would have brought something. They not only tightened the loose prong but told me why it was catching, and without charge! Took about 10 minutes in store and I was done. This is a long overdue review. Nearly one year ago I was so taken advantage of by a vendor at the Kitsap Mall that I was literally in tears. My husband suggested going to the Two Sisters with my problem after he had looked on line to find another jeweler to go to. Long story short, I had a vendor at the mall look at my wedding ring I've had for 53 years, one thing led to another and I was hugely overcharged, for repairing what he said was a broken prong and the diamond was going to fall out. The ring I received back after "the repairs" , I hardly recognized. Terrible workmanship. And a very high price to pay for it! We took my injured feelings and my very special ring to Two Sisters the same day. They were absolutely wonderful. They could not believe the condition the ring was in and were shocked at what I was charged. They were so gracious and offered to fix the ring and only charged a nominal fee. They did a beautiful job on my ring and helped me get past my feelings of being so taken advantage of. They genuinely cared about me. Beautiful shop! It looks kind of small and indiscreet. Extremely knowledgeable and very professional and probably the most friendly jewelry shop I have ever been in. I went in to get a ring repaired and their in-store jeweler was able to repair a ring that was bent and cracked in the same day. Their pricing is absolutely amazing. The Two Sisters Fine Jewelry store is one of those businesses that go the extra mile for their customers. I took two watches in for repairs, the first needed a battery but the second had a more complex problem. About a year earlier I took the second watch into a different repair facility and they wanted to replace the entire movement. The Two Sisters replaced the battery and used compressed air to do a rough cleaning, well it worked saving me several hundred dollars. Wonderful service from these creative jewelers. We were next door & decided to look in the window. The owner came out and took the time to speak with us. My mother in law wanted to have her gold rings re-sized so we returned and brought an additional gold ring to use for the resizing. The owner looked over her jewelry and gave her a current value for her rings and also some credit for the gold ring, which more than covered the cost of the resizing work. Paid $40 to have a gold necklace chain fixed. Got home, Took it out of the bag, and didn't even have a chance to put it on and it broke. Also they kept part of the broken chain trying to pull a fast one! It used to fit lower because I had all my necklaces layered. Now it fits higher with the others. It's so obvious looking at photos while wearing it. The owners are good people, but the person(s) they've hired blatantly are there for a quick buck at the customers expense. Sad. read more

I was very pleased with my experience at Two Sisters. I had a family diamond ring I wanted to have re-set for my engagement ring, and I received fantastic service, a great final product, and a very short turn around. As soon as I entered, I felt more comfortable than at other places. I wasn't pressured or forced but rather supported as I chose a design and setting. They gave me ideas but didn't force some expensive additions on me. I truly felt they wanted me to be happy with the ring more than they were interested in jacking up the price. They listened to my fiancé and I, and treated us like 5-star clients even though we weren't buying diamonds from them or placing an expensive order. To receive that level of service without pressure was unexpected and their genuine concern for our happiness with the ring really struck me. They had the experience of decades in the jewelry business but also utilized the latest tech to make sure we found the best setting for me (even if the online system was still a bit new to them). They found me the perfect setting matching my description in no time. They order it Saturday (when we came in), it arrived Monday, and I picked it up the finished ring on Wednesday which was far earlier than I expected. Deborah continued to call and check in with me during the process, allowing me to try on the setting before they set the diamonds, and assuring me if I didn't like the setting we could easily return it and find a new one. All in all, what I expected to be an overwhelming, long, and stressful experience was as easy as a few conversations with genuine people who cared about my satisfaction with every aspect of their business.
