I have been using New Age for 7 years now for personal and business. They are our computer guys for all computer issues. They have been absolutely amazing. Ash and Weston are always very responsive and can most of the time fix our issues without even needing my computer there, They have software that allows them to log in remotely! Wow! They built our server, cared for it, and maintained it and all of our workstations. May not seem like much of a place, but this place is outstanding! Very clean and neat on the inside. Not a bunch of crap laying around. And boy do they do great work. I had a Dell Inspiron which I bought new in 2009. It still ran fine, but needed to be updated. Having an idea of what I wanted, I went here. They were fantastic! Computer literally boots 10x faster. Weston was really great. He was honest and helpful. My fan motor and hard drive both fried on my laptop that had critical things on it I needed. It couldn't happen. But he was honest and communicating well with me where things stood. He offered to ship the fan back to save me money on it. I have ZERO COMPLAINTS about it. Not his fault my hard drive and fan died. I accidentally installed an old back up for my quickbooks which erased two years of data and I couldn't find a current back up to correct the issue. I called New age before they were open and left a message. I was in such a hurry to correct this that I took a chance and drove from Alpine so I could get there when they opened. Weston was calling me back as I pulled up in the parking lot. He was able to locate a two month old back up and did some tweaking and gave me some great advise all in about 30 min and charges me $35. This place is amazing. I called Ashley at New Age Computers on a Friday. He was already closed but agreed to open up his shop and meet me there., He said he could have my desk top fixed by Monday. Well a couple hours later, he called and said it was ready. Amazing! Very reasonably priced. He is so helpful. When I got my computer back home, I had some trouble hooking it up with my modem and router, etc. He walked me through it at no charge. He even offered to drive out to my house at no extra charge if I couldn't get it working properly. He is awesome! I now have a reliable source to take all my computer needs to. I shopped around at all the other computer repair venues in East County SD. In conversation with another company that was too far away, they recommended Ashley at New Age. Wow, what a surprise! Ashley is great. Personable, knowledgeable, and inexpensive. $$$ wayyyy below the competition. Took in the kids' CPU that had so much MALWARE that it would totally lock up after power up. I could not even shut it down. He had it turned around in a business day. Repaired damaged files, removed all the unneeded processes, installed a high quality anti-virus software, and performed a tune up. It is faster than when I first bought it, as he removed all the preloaded junk that Best Buy had on there. He even hung around late for me as I was stuck in traffic. Even though it was after his closing time, he still gave me about 10 minutes of training, at no cost. His place is not much to look at, but it keeps his costs down. I had no idea he was located in El Cajon until just now, and I have to give him kudos for driving all the way out to us is North County SD, even when it was just for a minor problem. This is a ethical and great company. Usually when I've delt with computer companies they always try and get you to spend $$ on unnecessary "fixes" and this company didn't. I desparately needed help with my elderly dad's computer because he allowed a man to remote control his computer and the guy put soo much Spyware and malware on it that my dad couldn't even use it. I had problems with my computer before, but a blue screen usually means not good but it was doing it more frequent. I wanted some place close and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. This was the cheapest out of anywhere, but knew what they were doing. It takes a bit to have them fix a problem but have to remember, they have other customers so patience is key. Excellent service. I had contacted New Age Computers to see about installing an external hard drive on my 8 year old computer before taking the next painful (to me) step of purchasing a new computer. Bottom line, with the help of Ashley & Weston, within 2 business days, my old computer data had been copied onto a brand new computer, and the new computer was up & running and hooked up to the external hard drive. WOW! Let me start by saying I had lost all my data from a backup drive from an old computer. I called around to other places and based on how I deleted my whole hard drive of 7 years of info, that most, either said it was a lost cause or it would be several hundred dollars to a thousand dollars to recover my data. I was getting pretty down, but decided to give them a try. I talked to Ashley who said, it would be free of charge to look at it, but 130 if the files were recovered. He sounded pretty confident that with all their software and knowledge they could restore the data. I my hard drive there along with the computer that had died it came off of and they ran multiple data recovery scans and I believe they put many hours trying to fix the problem. They not only recovered my files with the extensions, they loaded them onto my new computer. They looked at my old computer to see if it was worth fixing. Weston did me the service of loading all my songs from my iPod onto my new computer, as well as do a speed test on my phone so I could figure out what why it was running so slow. He even showed me the best way to access and delete unnecessary files the easy way before importing them into my library. I HAVE TO SAY THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS AND WILL NEVER TAKE MY DEVICES TO ANYONE ELSE! I bet they are tired of seeing my face, but I'm going back tomorrow to see if they can fix my GPS errors on my phone. I kept asking if I needed to pay them more than the original quoted price, as I was so pleased with what they retrieved for me and then did all this other stuff that was not even part of the job. I felt a little bad as they were just FANTASTIC! AND WESTON REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF, no matter if you have PCs, Apples, or Android devices.
