Their products were cheaper than an earlier competitor we had just stopped in to see. There is something to be said about the family business and Quality Floor Covering does it right. They saved us around $1000 in materials and installation. Carpet was installed today with the pet padding and it is so much nicer than we could have seen with the sample provided. The estimator was super nice, courteous, friendly, forthright, and on time. Carpet padding had to be ordered and it arrived early and installation happened today. The installers were great! They were on time, quick with removal and extremely detailed in their installation. Our carpet is FABULOUS! We are beyond pleased with our investment and if we move to another home or have one built - Quality Floor Coverings will be doing the installation. Period. They will NEVER call you back, know where your order is, or give you an installation date. I was told on 4 separate occasions I would be called and I would wait several days for that return call that never came. It began when they bailed at the last minute the first day they were supposed to measure. However, they did reschedule for the next day, but then took a week to get me the estimate. I paid the deposit and was told I would get a call back in about 3 days with the installation date. After a week I called to get that date and was told "oops I forgot to tell you for some reason the payment didn't go through" (WTF). Ok, fine let's try again while you're on the phone, payment goes through but after 2 months I never did get that install date. Additionally, I could never get a date of when the shipment would come in. I understand you can't install, we'll do it ourselves just give me the materials. Once the Corona virus began happening I was just wanting updates or any information because by this time we've ripped up the old floor to prep it for the new floor, but they could have cared less. I understand the world is going crazy but your office is still open, your phones still work, you took my money, and you could have keep me informed. Mind you this is after giving them a $800 deposit, how does no one ever know where my order is? Overall I dealt with them for over 3 months. Finally I got fed up and asked for a refund. Guess how long it took to get my deposit back?.....35 days, because oops she, the owner, forgot to put the check in the mail (WTF). I had to send my husband to go physically pick it up because I was tired of the excuses and incompetence! Teresa the owner also has a nasty attitude anytime you have to deal with her.
