No detail was too small, and they were very patient with me. Additionally I had some special requirements that needed to be addressed, such as low VOC products/cabinets, working with my busy schedule, etc. All of my concerns were met and addressed with attention to each detail. My kitchen was installed and completed in the time frame originally presented to me despite the fact that I added on some items at some very inconvenient moments (a bathroom). They then did not replace the pan when doing the work. The grout cracked again quickly (within 4 months), This strongly suggests the underlying issue (likely movement, moisture, or pan failure) was never fixed. Over the course of several months we called multiple times. They set up 3 different appointments to come out and look. They never showed nor did they call to cancel or reschedule. Called the owner and he said we probably would have to replace the pan underneath.

I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. Long Story: I have some Hunter Douglas skylight shades (installed in 2016 by another company no longer in business) and recently one of them stopped working. After doing some troubleshooting I determined that it was the motor. I contacted HD directly to see if I could order a new motor and install it myself but they don't do that. They told me to use their website to find a local HD dealer/installer. I first called the more local company (10 minutes away) and talked to them but they said that they weren't interested in just replacing the motor and were only interested if I wanted to replace all the skylight shades. Yeah, I don't think so! I called Window Treatments Etc next (about 30 minutes away) and talked with John F about the problem. He trusted my troubleshooting process and without any pressure to do more he ordered a new motor and said he'd get back to me when it came in. In a few weeks he called to schedule the install of the new motor. He came out to my house on the scheduled day, confirmed the motor was bad, and replaced it in about 30 minutes. He was a nice guy, very professional, and friendly. I paid a very reasonable cost for the motor and the labor. It seems rare these days to just get someone to come out and do a simple, small job like this without the pressure to do more unnecessary work or paying a ridiculously jacked up price. I am truly impressed that John was not like that at all. If/when the motors in my other HD skylight shades fail I will definitely be calling John F at Window Treatments Etc! Thank you John!

I would strongly warn other homeowners to be very careful with this company. They installed wood…read morefloors in my historic home in Newport, and after only a short period of time the floors dried out, shrank, and opened up with obvious, unattractive gaps between the boards. For a paid professional installation, this result is unacceptable. What makes this experience even worse is their complete refusal to deal with the problem afterward. I paid their invoices fully and on time. When I contacted them and asked them to return, inspect the damage, and discuss a remedy, they stopped communicating altogether. Calls were not returned. Emails were ignored. Good contractors stand behind their work. This company did not. In my experience, they delivered poor workmanship, then avoided responsibility once payment had been collected. I cannot recommend them, and I think potential clients should take this behavior very seriously.
