The best Asian bakery in South Jersey, its rare to find one in NJ, unless you want to travel to PA Chinatown for one

The BEST FRESH FRUIT Smoothies in the area. Buns are also great. Service is a little slower but its just one auntie trying her best.

They only had three different desserts and no pork dumplings and no red bean buns not bbq baked buns only the steam kind the white ones

I haven't seen any authentic asian bakeries in South Jersey..until now. I'm glad I found this place through yelp. It's good to know that there's an asian bakery here when you are in South Jersey. It's a small counter, located in an asian supermarket in Pleasantville, NJ. Most of their buns are $1 or $1.25 and it's buy 6 get 1 free. Their buns look larger in size than other places. It's inside of the Asian Mall to the left. I got there a bit early so not everything was out. Purchased an assortment of buns, and they had some that you can freeze and finish cooking in microwave. Inexpensive, 1$ each bun and if you buy 6 you get one free. Lots to try out when we get home. Will return to update read more

This is probably my favorite Asian bakery of all time. Everything they serve is fresh. I don't think I've ever had anything bad from here. Their bubble tea drinks are delicious (my favorite being the mango frozen fruit smoothie). The mango smoothie is made with real mangoes, as is many of the fruit smoothies! The egg custard, pineapple custard bun, taro bun, cha siu bun, sponge cake, all great. I also like their lightly-sweetened bread loaves they sell for $2.50 each that usually sits on the left counter. Most recently, we had a cake ordered for a special occasion. It was light, fluffy, and just the perfect hint of sweetness. The best part was they were able to include taro in the middle. The cake was such a hit, that I was slightly disappointed there was only a little leftover after the event! Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this bakery! The lady who works the counter has been there for years and you could tell she really works hard and sets a good example for how businesses should be run! Being new in the area, and coming from somewhere with a lackluster culinary selection, I got super excited when Yelp recommended this bakery. The first time I stopped by, everything looked delicious... but I somehow missed the "cash only" part listed on another review. The second time, I came prepared. The storefront was low on stock, but it was late on a Friday afternoon. That's to be expected. I picked up a pineapple bun, a red bean bun, a couple of the steamed buns, a lotus paste and melon pastry, and a loaf of the bread on the counter. To be honest, I'm not sure what flavor the bread is... but it's good! The pineapple bun was delicious, slightly crunchy outside and soft inside. The red bean bun was similar, with a flavor and texture I've not had before. I still haven't tried the pastry or steamed buns, but they look great! And everything I bought was less than $10! I look forward to going back and trying some if the smoothies, or the bubble tea! Definitely worth bringing cash if you're not someone who keeps it in hand! read more

Great little Chinese bakery - just like the one's I have tried in California, very happy to find this! They have egg custard pastries, coconut pastries, black bean cake, almond cookies and all kinds of other delicious and caloric Chinese pastries, Chinese meat pies, and breads and rolls... This is a very small place, designed for to-go business primarily... I recommend the egg custard! and when the pineapple buns are hot fresh out of the oven they are amazing! Located in a little Asian shopping plaza next to a quite large Chinese-owned Asian supermarket and various other Asian businesses including a Chinese restaurant , a quite good Vietnamese restaurant, a nail salon, and other places.. read more

A sweet little bakery. A perfect place for a pick me up while you're shopping in the area. The iced coffee was good, but the best are the smoothies. The lady pulled out a huge box of fresh strawberries and threw them into the blender for a delicious treat. I highly recommend getting avocado. Not really sweet, but a lovely hearty and creamy treat. For a bite, ask for a steamed pork bun in the back. They're not the best I've had, but steamed buns are hard to find in bakeries and they're still killer good. read more

Diamond in the rough...especially for their bubble tea and fresh (not frozen) fruit shakes. Their bubble tea is fresh brewed & not too sweet. They use 1.5 avocados for their avocado smoothie which is unusual as most places only use 1/2 or 1 avocado per smoothie. Great dessert spot after a tasty meal at Hu Tieu Men Tay next door. Support small local businesses! This bakery is very fresh and has some great baked goods, both sweet and savory. If you get there closer to the end of the day, there isn't a huge selection because they bake them fresh every morning. Definitely stop in and try their mango fruit smoothie (add tapioca balls if you like bubble teas, etc)! Made to order in front of you real mangos! read more

I frequent here often since I visit whenever I am shopping for groceries or after eating at the Vietnamese restaurant. I usually buy at least a bubble drink for myself. They don't use powder like some other establishments that I know which is good for a person who wants to eat healthier. They have the regular milk tea with bubble along with many different fruits that are blended and again the choice of bubble can be added. The baked goods are cheap with most being one dollar or less. I rarely purchase the baked goods, however, since I rarely want to eat baked goods. I recommend getting milk tea with bubble or any fruit you want with bubble! read more
