No child's needs a school were the faculty shrug their faces up at children visiting and are only out for money with fees combined with fees.. Overall Bridges Academy in West Islip is a Racist Parent run school who clearly doesn't want no kids from any other background unless your white with blue eyes!!!!!

My child sustained multiple facial injuries, one extremely close to the eye, as a result of another students BIP not being implemented. The homeroom teacher Lara, the teacher assistant Christine, the paraprofessional Maria and the nurse Maryalyce failed to contact me further than a note sent home during the multiple physical attacks my child received. The school parroted excuses and discuss the BIP child, rather than taking responsibility and doing their jobs. The children were not to blame, it was the lack of adult supervision and intervention!! In the end, the homeroom teacher Lara never contacted my family and did not show up to the Emergency Safety Meeting. I had to pull my child out of the school. My child could not speak up and the adults at this school are indifferent, callous and cowardly. Never stop advocating and protecting your children!

As a parent, I felt very comfortable knowing Peanut's was a safe environment with teachers and Directors who truly care about the well being of all of their students. My son is currently enrolled in the 2's program. He has grown so much since the start of the school year; I am already sad thinking about when my Peanut days are over. My son LOVES his teacher and co-teacher. When the teachers greet his class in the morning, my son lights up, smiles so big and rushes to get into the gate. At 2.5 he grabbed a paper towel and cleaned up a spill at home! This was something they taught at school. As a parent I love how I can be involved and I gained many like-minded friends because it is a tight knit community of families who believe early education is a top priority .
