I first want to say thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart! This establishment…read moreis amazing. From the 4 interns I met that helped me through top surgery to Leland who is a wealth of knowledge. If it were not for the kindness of all these individuals while getting surgery, I personally would not be able to do it. I go by reviews a lot of time and when I saw the prior reviews it made me think twice of coming here, but something told me give it a chance everyone's opinion is different. And whoever keeps writing these constant bad reviews seems to me has been changed their name for each review and may be the same person for whatever reason. I don't know what the issue is but I personally work for customer service and would NEVER EVER sugar coat things for anyone. I am big about making sure that you hear the 100 percent truth about my experience with them. I read the bad reviews that the previous "people" have put and there is no way that they were talking about the same establishment that I went to. I am glad I personally did not go by the reviews to help me determine if I was going to stay or not. This is business is golden. Leland is an awesome dude! I stayed there from March 13-19 and right away welcomed by Leland he gave me pointers for the surgery. He also introduced me to the interns and showed me to my room. The room was awesome had a recliner that was my main chair while I was in recovery from surgery. The interns fed me and cooked. They took me out to Hollywood Beach got a chance to eat some of the best tacos I have her had and virgin Pina Colada. Also I got a chance to talk to the interns personally each one is amazing. Everyone is kind and caring and put you first while you stay with them. They have tons on food there to last you your whole stay and not have to spend extra money to go out to eat unless you want to. They will take you to dr appointments or anywhere you need to go. Leland is a wealth of knowledge as I said before, and definitely is always available for your questions since he was a nurse for a long time. Don't always listen to bad reviews this was my first time not listening to other peoples reviews and glad I didn't cause if I had to do it again for the surgery I would definitely stay here again. A+++++++++++ but don't take my word for it try it out for yourself.

Tierra Santa I was…read moreon the hunt for the best spa experience in the city. I was looking for a day of pampering. As such, I wanted additional benefits and not just a massage. This spa ended up topping my comparison list. Scheduling an appointment was slightly problematic. I spent entirely too much time on their site attempting to make a reservation for two. The site was not working. I ended up calling the spa to schedule over the phone. However, there was no answer so I had to leave a message requesting a return call. A staff did call me back late the next day. I was able to schedule over the phone. I was advised to complete the forms prior to arrival date- which I did do The spa is located inside of the Faena Hotel. The hotel is on the corner and is easy to find. The spa will validate valet parking for $35. We parked about a block away for much less. However, parking price value would be based on how long you plan on being at the spa. It may be more cost effective to pay the $35. When we arrived a hotel staff assisted us by escorting us to the elevator to the spa level. There was a lady at the front desk when we arrived. It did take her a few moments to acknowledge us, and when she did she asked us to give her a few minutes. Another staff approached and asked if we had been assisted. The staff sitting at the front desk did ask her to help us. We advised we had appointments. She checked us in and walked us over to the waiting area. The waiting area is very bright and doubles as a store. We were served tea and allowed to relax and take pictures. This area also had access to the outside patio also available for lounging durring your spa day. Following the waiting area the staff walked us to the women's fitting room. She gave us a quick tutorial on how to utilize the lockers. We changed into our swimsuits to get ready to enjoy the wet area. The wet area is on the opposite side of the spa. You have to walk through the waiting area and the front desk. When you walk in you are greeted by a table full of fresh soap. You are encouraged to grab a piece to try. The following are available in the wet area: a waterfall shower, steam room, a haman, a sauna, and a cold room. NOTE: this area is co-Ed. Based on my observation it's best to schedule an early service so that you can enjoy the benefits with a limited crowd. You also access the area for your spa services directly from the wet area. There is a lounge area where you can enjoy tea, infused water and snacks such as dried fruit, fresh strawberries, and chocolate covered almonds to name a few. I opted to take a quick shower prior to my 60 minute massage. My skin was feeling dry from the over load on water, and heat. We arrived to the lounge about 5-10 minutes prior to our scheduled spa time. Shane came into the lounge and advised he would be my massage therapist. When we walked into my private room he advised I could have a seat on a purple chair. He went over the paper work I competed on line. He repeated to me what I indicated as it relates to areas to focus on, areas to avoid and pressure I desired. After confirming everything he asked me what oil I would be interested in for aroma therapy. I opted for lavender after smelling all of them. Shane gave me some privacy to undress to my comfort level and advised I should start out laying face down. When Shane came back into the room he got to work immediately. This massage was PERFECT! Shane ensured the pressure was what I desired, and he focused on all the places I need to be worked on. He did some moves I have never felt before and I was so impressed. I was so disappointed when the 60 minutes were up. This experience exceeded my expectations!

The baby bunnies are my favorite, and the ferrets, and the GOATs (Greatest Of All Time) are silly, sweet, and very friendly. Everything is set at a great fair price, not too expensive. The service requested was great and friendly. It was great visiting the rescue farm and spending time with the animals it was great getting to interact with them and learn about them. All I know is I felt like I was at my cousin's house and they happened to have animals. There were no directions or explanations...until it came time to pay. Now that part was explained perfectly. Honestly, I probably could have seen the same thing at my local shelter and saved $30. I'm hoping the money goes toward helping the animals, but it's really hard to tell. They have goats, plenty of birds, llamas, pigs, and horses. I wouldn't call it a true petting zoo because most of the petting is done through a gate. If you want a horse ride, you have to ask. No one offers or tells you about it. Everything looked like it could use some updating or repairs, and the overall vibe from most of the staff was, "Please hurry up so we can get back to what we were doing." A couple of employees were pleasant and helpful, but they weren't going above and beyond. They simply gave us what we asked for. Overall, I probably won't be back. At least my $30 went toward helping the animals...I hope.
