The siding he replaced on our house is falling off and warped after barely two years. His attempts to fix it made it worse and now he is refusing to refund us. We had two independent contractors come out and verified everything was done incorrectly and poorly. Nick also only employees people who are not qualified for the job and do not speak English so you cannot communicate with them. Nick was rude to me and refused to listen when issues were raised. Absolute Nightmare. Requested small concrete patio to attach to existing concrete walkway. Nick…read moremanaged to get his truck "stuck" with "tires spinning", in the yard. Then my daughter luckily, observed Nick & realized the concrete step they were pouring, near the backdoor was too much of a drop to be safe & gave him direction on a solution. Where walkway & patio met, the cement was slapped on with no attempt to blend or delineate the combination of the two. The patio looks like a patchwork quilt. Seams, and footprints with numerous discolorations and stop & start imprints on cement prominent throughout. Nick's consistent reply to dissatisfaction with the patio was "once it settles, will be fine." Anything BUT fine, & after a time he agreed to "sand it." First with a small hand held sander with no improvement. Then with an industrial upright sander, he had ZERO control over. It flipped and tipped & flew through the air, as he tried unsuccessfully to hang on. This put circular gouges into cement. So patchwork now has circular gouges, as in alien landing sites. Nick Filled my refuge containers with cement bags . Nick consistently, & without permission helped himself to items in the garage. I continue to find cigarette butts in the yard, along with water bottles in the flower pots. I kept waiting for the Candid Camera crew to reveal themselves. They did not, but if I can save even one family from the nightmare of Nick's Masonry LLC, then it will have been worth my time to share this Nightmare.

NEVER came back. JP not only came out immediately to look at the job, but he started the work within a few days of that initial inspection. The job took one full day and, what timing-- it rained 3 inches two days later. I would have had to be down there all day with the leak with a wet vac/shop vac in order to avoid water damage. Instead, I went down to check every hour (as it was a practice I was used to whenever it rained) and NO WATER!! We decided to get our old asphalt driveway and sidewalk (concrete) walkway removed and replaced…read more After talking and getting a quote from one other company, we decided to go with JD Construction as they were doing another job right down the street. We walked down to ask them to come by and they did right away. The brother that own the company are extremely nice, knowledgable and professional. We told them what we were looking for, then made recommendations and drew up a contract. They would begin within 3 weeks. A week later they were back and within a day our entire driveway and walk were removed and everything was tamped down and prepped. After sitting for awhile we decided on pavers for the walk (they bring you samples to choose from) and a design. The walkway went in on two days and it was VERY nicely done. It looks perfect. They also concrete the sides to that everything is right and not as likely to shift. A few days later they came back and the driveway went in in a couple hours. The guys were great. The workers were courteous and cleaned up really well at the end of each day. We were happy with the speed at which the project was completed, the fact that we're were involved from beginning to end (they keep you totally in the loop and let you know why thy are doing certain things or using certain materials), and the price seemed pretty fair, especially for the area. I would highly recommend them for any similar projects.

On the third attempt, I completed the job in a building with no heat or AC--temperatures were extremely high, making the work conditions very difficult. I spent two full days cleaning and made sure to go over the floors multiple times. We had agreed on around $500 for the work, including cancellations, but I was never paid. After completing the job, communication stopped completely. I also drove about 45 minutes each way multiple times, covering gas expenses out of pocket. Overall, I would rate 0 stars, definitely recommend not working with this company due to lack of communication, poor planning, and failure to pay for completed services.
