I've only ordered here twice in person and the staff was amazing. However, I've ordered here multiple times from DoorDash and Uber Eats respectively. My food is always hot and fresh. What has happened ? We waited for over an hour for our food ( supposed to be 25 min). They don't go by your name, phone number or order number when you pick up your food. They ask the price! We have been getting food here for 4 years. The food isn't the greatest, but it's the best around. Turns out or order was sitting on a back shelf for 45 min. No apology, no nothing. We won't be back. Found at very end of strip mall. Small space to accommodate tables of 2 up to 8! Clean. Nice lighting. Some tables a little rough. Some staff still wore mask. Due to Covid. A basic Thai menu with all the Thai basics to give you a taste of Thai. The boy server was friendly and I had a miscommunication when ordering my drunken noodles and I wanted with fried tofu. He ended bringing out a side order appetizer of fried tofu too. Oh, dear. Don't know how that got wrong. I kept it. I'll just add to my noodles. Late. Anyway the fried tofu was nicely fried and hot pillowy tofu inside. With sweet chili sauce and crushed peanuts and carrot cabbage. The wide drunken noodles was stir fried perfectly. Great al dente and nicely spiced noodles. And 4 stars was perfectly spicy!!! Ordered with fried tofu. Asked for jalapeño vinegar, extra spicy on side and limes for more acid taste. The reviews on this restaurant really fooled me. The restaurant is about 17 miles away so it is not close. I ordered orange chicken and extra egg rolls. When I went to pick it up the lady at the desk verified the orange chicken and I got home with beef with broccoli. It wasn't even good beef with broccoli and the egg rolls were sad. read more

Hands down best Chinese in Carrollton. Literally the food is cheap, authentic and large portions. I always get it to-go because it's my family's lazy Sunday go to meal. The sweet and sour sauce is made from scratch and it is delicious. They use jasmine white rice and it's my boyfriends favorite so it definitely won him over. Their soups are always fresh and so hearty. My personal favorite is the hot and sour because it's just right, not too spicy but enough to help get you over a cold! We always have Chinese food for Christmas dinner, and about 3 years ago we found New China. We were surprised at how quickly our food was prepared! The accommodations are a bit Spartan (foam plates, plastic tableware) but the food more than makes up for it. I always get Singapore Noodles when we eat here, but I think I'll be more adventurous in the future. The eggrolls are a thing of beauty. Drinks are a little limited, but the tea is sublime. You order at a counter, and you can see directly into the kitchen -- it's really cooked to order, not microwaved. Chairs and tables, and they do bring your food to the table. I don't go any where else when I want Chinese food! The food is awesome but the lady who usually handles the customer always remembers me and my extended family, who all so doesn't go anywhere else. She is one of the biggest reasons I go there. She is funny and great. You can even call and she will pick up the phone and you will get started on your order but she will finish it for you. New China has the most consistent kitchen in town, an extensive menu (standard Chinese take out menu plus many specials), and they are super willing to make adjustments for your preferences. Unlike most places they can tell you right away if an ingredient has an allergen (gluten, egg, etc). Simply put the best egg rolls I've ever had. All right. Recently moved to Carrollton. The Chinese search continues. Today we went to New China based on Yelp reviews. What are you people thinking? It was horrible at so many levels. First clue it is June in Georgia and the front door is wide open so all the bugs can come on in. But we went in anyway. Lady at front was nice. Ordered lunch combos. Menu clearly says it included soup. She brings out food out and we ask the soup and she tells us that they don't include soup anymore. Really? How about as a courtesy tell us when we order or even better yet print a new menu. Ok food arrives. It only got worse people. I had the kung Pao. Atrocious. It was a siracha loaded lousy attempt at Szechuan chicken at best with some STALE peanuts poured on top. Bitter and not very tasty. The only thing of the 4 lunches that is worth taking about was the general tsaos was decent. The other two meals bad also. The buffet line was clearly full of water from the weekday buffet and hadn't been drained. It was cloudy looking and not very encouraging. Wouldn't cause me to want to come here during the week and eat that cloudy water steamed into my food. All in all there is absolutely no reason to ever stop here. Very lousy attempt at Chinese food. I have been to hundreds of Chinese joints and this one is in the bottom 10%. Just keep driving people.
