Quick and friendly service. Seated without wait. Food was flavorful and hot. Plenty of menu options.

Just left and more disappointed than I have ever been with any restaurant. We ordered general tso chicken combo, that comes with fried rice, and an egg roll. We also ordered the sweet and sour shrimp, that does not come with anything, you must pay $1 extra for white rice which brings the total to $14.95, lastly we ordered 2 extra egg rolls, and 2 spring rolls. The general tso order was supposed to come with an egg roll- it did not. The chicken was overly sweet and hard as a rock, and fried rice was bland. The sweet and sour shrimp is not what you would expect. It was literally 11 pieces of shrimp the size between salad shrimp to extra small, and tempura battered. You cannot deep fry shrimp that small without chewing rubber later. So, instead of making a scene, we politely asked for a remake of the items, except replace the S&S shrimp for lo mein. Oh, absolutely not, they say. We will exchange for fried rice only! No refunds! So, here we are out of $30, and no food. The rudeness and unwillingness to keep returning customers has caused them to lose a number of people. With how rude and snarky they are, the ambiance was destroyed. read more

I wanted Bourbon Chicken, and they have it on their menu. I was happy to see that. This was my 1st time coming to this place. They then bring me out a plate of grilled chicken with onions and bell peppers. I thought that it must have the bourbon taste without the need of a sauce. This was new, and I was intrigued. But it was JUST grilled chicken. There was NOTHING bourbon about it. I asked the waitress, and she insisted that it was in fact Bourbon Chicken. The service was very good. I ordered takeout and was in and out in under 10 minutes. The food was piping hot when I got back to work and looked fresh. Unfortunately, it was seriously lacking in taste! I had shrimp Lo Mein and steamed dumpling. The lo mein had some sort of watery sauce on it that had a hint of garlic but not much more. The dumplings were good, but also had subdued flavor. The dipping sauce, which is supposed to be dark like soy sauce, was closer to a watery brown color. The flavor was just as watery. I was really hoping to like the food as the restaurant is so close to work and so many of the good Chinese restaurants in Carrollton near me have closed. If I had my own hoisin sauce and chili sauce at work I could have given it some flavor, instead I had to settle for draining off the watery sauce and trying to give it some flavor with soy sauce. read more

The best Chinese food in Carrollton. Their portions are huge. One large order will feed 2 1/2 people. The red sauce is excellent. The beef is very tender and we love the pea pods. Fried Rice is great too. You can't go wrong with Lee's Kitchen. read more

Best Chinese/Asian food in Carrollton. Place isn't fancy, but food is good and it's always clean inside. Servers could be a little more friendly, but they do offer good service - just maybe need some training on "service with a smile." To be honest, if I could give Lee's six stars I would. Went in for lunch the waitress was very rude to my 82 year old mother when she asked for a napkin she was told you will have to wait when I said excuse me that was rude she refused to take our order and asked us to leave I was told that they are always rude. Never had this place till today. My usual Chinese restaurant was closed and I wanted a wonton soup really bad at lunch. So since I work near this place I decided to try it. If you like a ton of grease, you'll love this place. I ordered a small chicken chow mein (which was FULL of grease), a small wonton soup (which was ORANGE and tasteless! Never seen ORANGE wonton soup before!) The wonton in the soup was very mushy and not firm at all. I also got an egg roll which was good. There was a lot of people in the restaurant eating so I didn't think it would be bad. But I guess they like a lot of grease too. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

I hate to give bad reviews, especially when I haven't even tried the food, but I had to leave before I could even order. I walked in today (Saturday Match 16, 2019 at 3:45pm), a woman greeted me and told me to sit anywhere, so I sat at a back table. Another employee woman then came and asked me to move. The place had 2 customers, she wanted me to move next to another customers table. I like to choose where it sit, and if the place is full then I will sit where I can find space, but she asked me to move. I said unusually like to sit where I want, she said there was an emergency door by that table (table, with chairs, not blocking a doorway. I just got up and left because apparently they didn't want my business. Went down the street to China House in Kroger shopping center. Won't return. read more

the servers always seem to make comments about how many kids I have. And ask rude questions like "are you done now". FYI I only have 3 kids, but I often take their friends out to eat with us. The food here is amazing and thats why I continue to visit them, if I want to sit down to eat. If they weren't so rude about kids i'd be eating there more often. also they currently have not restroom... very frustrating. I'd like to wash my hands before eating. read more

Great food and great service!! Don't understand these bad reviews! I have never had a bad experience there! The sisters are great waitresses and love to talk. When my husband and I go to eat there, they know what we like and have our drinks ready if they aren't BUSY!! The BEST PLACE ON THE WEST SIDE TO EAT!! I would recommend them over and over and over!! I must preface this post with a prologue. My original food choice for lunch was barbecue... but the damned thing was closed. Lee's Kitchen was close enough that I just went there, not even knowing it was Chinese food. The sign says "Lee's Kitchen" and it looks like a renovated Waffle House. There was a lady behind the counter that kept trying to sit us at a booth, but I tried explaining that we preferred a table. After a couple of snarky comments, we sat down and when given the menus, realized we were eating Chinese. The food was average, at best. My waitress had a lot of tattoos, and she was awesome. Great service from her, but the other chick was kinda a " See you next Tuesday" kinda chick... y'all know what I'm sayin! Cheap lunch prices. Super sweet tea. Ok food. Came out quick. My family and I celebrated my fathers 76th birthday here, it's where he wanted the go. The waitstaff are very friendly and very attentive. Now on to the food, one word sums it all up......delicious! The food has great flavor and is definitely plentiful. I had the sesame chicken with fried rice which was very fresh and the chicken was tender. I also had their egg drop soup and it was very good. My mother, father and brother all had the beef and broccoli and my husband had the pepper steak, they all said it was very very good. They were even sweet enough to bring the Chinese donuts to my father to celebrate his birthday, needless to say that made him very happy. Sorry I don't have any pictures, I was enjoying my dinner so much I completely forgot. I will get them the next time...promise! Giving two stars because the food is really good. However, we have been ordering delivery for as long as I can remember. I called tonight and I was told that I have to have a $35 minimum because we are "too far out". This has never been brought up before and she acted like they had never delivered to my address. Our house is 6 miles from the restaurant and delivery is easier than loading up the kids and picking it up. Very disappointed. read more

I simply do not understand these bad reviews. The food is good. I love how they make it in front of you and I love that they make everything to order. This stuff isn't microwaved, it's made right here in store. For 6$ you can get a full meal plus leftovers! The staff is so sweet! Who really cares if they aren't fluent?? This is the American dream! Bruhhhh this is my go to for Chinese food in Carrollton. Been with them since they were Lees restaurant out on Brumbelow road. Price is comparable for what you get in the amount and quality of food. Never had a bad experience from here. Would recommend the general tsos chicken or the sweet and sour chicken. read more

Lately my views have changed, which is why I gave Lee's three stars. The phone has been disconnected for nearly a month and I know that are open because I have to drive by the location to get to my friend's house and it's open and lively. I just ordered delivery from here and it was horrible. It was the first time I have ordered from them and I was extremely disappointed. Had low expectation as an Chinese person. It's right across from where I worked so I was curious. I went during lunch time and got the lunch special. This place was a lot better than the Chinese place next to where I live in Villa Rica. Food was fast and the staff was very friendly.
