I've eaten here once since Covid. It was horrible and they use the fake "meat" of chicken and beef. It was wonderful under the previous owner - but, like the rest of the Chinese restaurants here, it is not good anymore. I came in based on the yelp and google reviews and overall it was a pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food, to me, was very bland and under seasoned. That isn't the biggest problem in the world due to the salt, soy sauce and other condiments on the table. I definitely would recommend that you try this location, but keep an open mid. read more

If you want the hot mustard that opens up your sinuses, you'll have to ask for it - it's handmade there, too. I've never seen a low-sodium soy sauce option but I wish they would make it available for those of us who think regular soy sauce is way too salty. The lunch buffet is nothing to write home about. The fried rice is bland as are the lo-mein noodles. The items labeled "hot" are not and don't have much flavor. The college waitstaff are very attentive with drink refills and asking if you need anything. The older man (apparently the owner) is pleasant but his wife is quite brusk. This place isn't one of those Chinese restaruants that has tons of food like crab legs, frog legs, and all sorts of other stuff. Its a pretty small buffet, with all your basic Chinese foods. Better than Panda express by a country mile, but nothing to write home about. The Lo Mein was spegetti; the chicken drummies tasted more like they were from Southern Kentucky than Beijing. Not a very clean experience. Walked in and there wasn't a soul in the restaurant, probably should've taken it as a sign. Poor owner, we could tell he was really trying to make the most of our experience. He stopped in to make sure we were doing okay multiple times. My most favorite of all Chinese in Carroll County. This place has some good food. The looks could be updated and it would be really nice if they would invest in a soda machine instead of serving soda from 2 liters which are most times flat. However the food makes up for it all. Sizzling Rice Soup so awesome I will drive all the way just for it. The Mongolian Beef is almost like eating candy its so sweet but delicious. Crab Ragoons are really good they are not small and dried up like alot of other Chinese you see now days. I love this place and will continue to eat here often. Most will be take out though because there is a nail salon next to them and the smell of the salon fills the restaurant up. read more
