Coming from NYC, I'll admit I was a little surprised that eggs in the fried rice and bean sprouts were an extra charge--back home, that's usually included. But aside from that, everything else really hit the mark. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot just the way you want it. You can tell they put care into what they're serving. The portions were solid, and the overall experience was satisfying enough that I'll definitely be back. I have ordered from this place before and the food was always good. However this time the orange chicken was way, way overcooked and the eggrolls were the same . It was too well done and almost burned and very dry. I don't know if the grease was too hot and they fryer it the same amount of time as usual but it was TERRIBLE !!! Called in to make an order because others at the office wanted something quick and Chinese takeout was the best option. Once I called in, the lady took the order and said that it would be ready in 10 min. I started heading over there and by the time I got there, the meals were all ready to go. The lunch special leaves the total cost at about $6 a meal and that meal will definitely fill you up. It also comes with a soda too. I was visiting the area and was craving Chinese food. Not knowing the area I went to Yelp to see what my fellow Yelpers Im Kissimmee recommended. This place had great reviews and fellow Yelpers did not disappoint. I ordered the orange chicken, fried rice and egg roll combo. Whoa! The to go bag weighed like 2.5lbs. I had to check my bag when she handed it to me as I thought she had the wrong order. The fried rice was good. It actually had pieces of pork stir fried into the rice. Who still does that-this place! The orange chicken had good flavor. There was a hint of a spice I could not identify and was not particular found if, but that is my personal taste bud and nothing to do with the quality. Lunch special is the way to go - for $6.40 after tax, you will get a very generous portion of General Tso's Chicken with either fried or steamed rice, as well as a can of soda. The picture does not do it justice.....the portion is huge and has just the right amount of sauce, and the color of the sauce is golden, which I personally prefer (as opposed to an orange or very dark brown). Bad experience. Super long wait which I give then some leeway due to storm. We waited 1 hr 15 mins. They could have told us there was a long wait. The big thing was the food. The review is for the food. Orange chicken was horrible. Pupu Platter was not good, some too dry and inedible. Mongolian Beef was a 3 on a 1-10 scale. Fried rice prob best thing but not great. Boneless spareribs marginal. Overall, I would not go back. I hate you give bad reviews but this was not a good experience. read more

Its really hard to find good Chinese in the Kissimmee area, but out of all the ones I've tried this is probably the best. The fried rice & lo mein actually have a good flavor which is something to be said around here. If you ask for the General Tso's to be spicy they'll actually make it pretty well. New China is really very good. Ordered from them on a Sunday night, and the place was hopping! True New York Style Chinese Food. Fried dumplings were delicious and very generously sized. Loved the dipping sauce that came with them, sweeter than I've had before, but very good. The rice they serve is long grain, almost having the consistency of thai sticky rice. Different but still good. Sweet and Sour Chicken was prepared very well. Disappointed the sauce had no pineapple. Beef with broccoli was acceptable, but nothing to rave about. They were out of bonein spareribs, so I settled for the boneless ribs, which were just pork pieces in red sauce, actually nothing at all like a sparerib. The flavor was good, tho. I have been coming to this spot at least 1x a week without fail for the past few years. I've been to quite a few Chinese restaurants in Kissimmee and this restaurant trumps all them. It is not a fancy spot to say the least, there's only 4 tables and the pictures are faded but that doesn't matter, what matters the food and it's damn good! The staff is super friendly and since I am a creature of habit and always order the same thing I don't need to tell them what I want because when they see me they know what I'm ordering. My order always consists of fried chicken wings with beef fried rice with extra onions, egg and bean sprouts with a side order of brown garlic sauce that I pour on top of my rice and dip my wings in, its sweet and mildly spicy so delicious! My boyfriend has gotten the chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken and beef and broccoli which are all very good too. Their portions very generous that I usually split my order with my boyfriend. I sometimes dine in because I love my food pipping hot there is nothing like freshly made Chinese food! If your ever in the area and want Chinese food I recommend going here, you won't be disappointed. read more

I am very, very fussy when it comes to Chinese food, as in Australia we have absolutely amazing Chinese restaurants. Something that I missed ever since moving to USA. I tried many Chinese places all over the place in Central Florida, and the best I could say about them is that they were from awful to mediocre to just good. This little place that my husband and I discovered in Kissimmee is the crappiest looking take-out I've ever seen, with unappealing pictures on the walls, old and faded. For a moment, I was tempted to reconsider our decision to go there. We decided not to sit and eat (it doesn't look like a eat-in restaurant, anyway, it just has a couple of tables crammed in the waiting area, where customers usually sit while waiting for their take-out to be ready). For less than $20 we got a bagful of boxes, almost too heavy to comfortably carry away. First impression when we got home: Darn it, they messed up our order, I thought as I stared at the dumplings we had not ordered. But when we dug deeper, all the food we had ordered was there, a huge amount of it for that matter. I ordered scallion beef with white rice, my husband got vegetable fried rice with schezuan beef. Apparently, the dumplings were a bonus. Every bite we took of that meal was divine. We kept moaning in ecstasy, as if the food was giving us orgasmic pleasure. Yeah, I know it sounds extreme, but that's how good it was. The beef was melting tender, the flavors - heaven. After eating to the point of exploding, we still have a lot of food left, and I bet we won't be able to finish it tonight. No way on earth. That's a two day meal. read more

Great food! Visiting from Virginia we wanted GOOD Chinese. New China had 4.5 stars on Yelp so we went for it and - no disappointments! Great food, served hot, priced reasonably, and ready on time. Only comment is that the General Tso's chicken was not spicy as I like it but that's just a personal preference. You can always ask for spicy! We will eat here again! read more
