    Chicken fried rice
    Tricia B.

We ordered a variety of dishes and none of them had any flavor other than the Mongolian beef which was just hot. The chicken in my chicken fried rice was gray! They use yellow rice but it was hard and had no flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was ok. The teriyaki chicken was like rubber. I have had NY Chinese food and this is NOT it!

Hate to be a downer, but this spot just did not live up to expectations. My local family has been here several times, and we did have a large group dining...but the food quality and level of service was sub-par at best. I do appreciate the fact that the kitchen wants to cook each dish from scratch, but that leads to incredibly long wait times and a staggered selection on meals coming out of the kitchen. Several folks were nearly completely finished with their meals when the final dishes arrived at the table. I ordered a hot & sour soup, egg roll and a General Tso's chicken meal with pork fried rice. The hot & sour soup was, well...hot! Both in temperature and spice level. I had a lovely little sweat going on and enjoyed the flavor of the broth but it was on the saltier side. When our meals arrived, both my wife and I realized that her sesame chicken and my General Tso's looked (and tasted) almost identical! The sauce on my dish was a much brighter orange than most similar dishes I've had elsewhere, usually it is a stickier and browner sauce. This dish is usually also fairly spicy and this version was on the sweeter side with just a slight hint of heat. The pork fried rice elt very much like a boxed rice as opposed to the fried versions I've gotten elsewhere. Again, just not up to standards, in my book. The prices at the restaurant are extremely reasonable and the portion sizes are decent to large...but the lack of actual food quality and taste just did not do it for me.

I am a regular here. They are always friendly and offer quick service even when I fail to call in my order ahead of time. There are several regulars who dine in but I usually carry out. Don't let the dark exterior and uninviting curb appeal keep you from the goodness inside. Once inside the restaurant is beautifully decorated, with unique seating and televisions. Food is reasonably priced and has a consistent flavors. Unlike other asian restaurants in the neighborhood who will remain nameless, orders here are made when ordered and are fresh. Nice family oriented establishment. My personal favs are general tsos chicken, orange chicken, Kung pow chicken, and the Mongolian beef. Make sure to try their flavored tea which is very good. Will continue to frequent. Have never had a bad experience.

Great food and very reasonable price. Don't miss to order steam Bronzini fish. Delicious.

Quick Summary: My uncle is a bit of a regular here, and usually goes for the specials or asks for recommendations, and those selections defintiely came through. Delicious family meal, and a nice break from the chains that occupy much of central FL. This Chinese / Sushi restaurant is a new addition to the Kissimmee area; having visited my family a few times, I've gotten to see a bit of the area, and was pleasantly surprised to see a Chinese food place, that wasn't Panda Express (no offense, I have my days where I crave Panda...) Their selection of dishes is pretty standard for what you'd expect for an American Chinese restaurant, but my recommendation is to chat with the owner and tell her you want the real Chinese food, and go with the specials or off menu recommendations. We had four dishes, Roast pork Szechuan Style, Mongolian Beef, Oysters in black bean sauce, and chinese vegetable mix (It was bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and carrots). The last two were excellent! and a very health portion too! We all raved about the oysters and the sauce which was done excellently, and not over cooked. The vegetables were the same, cooked in a great sauce and not mushy. I liked the mongolian beef but it didn't stand out, and the roast pork was a bit on the dry side and didn't have the distinctive flavors I was expecting of szechuan cooking. We did do take home, but the restaurant looked be quite spacious and nicely decorated. We were promptly assisted up front and they were very friendly while we waited so I would expect much of the same while dining in!

This is SUPPOSED to be Sweet and Sour Pork.

They had interesting seating arrangements, like bars and window seating can only be sit by parties of two. Getting a space was not easy. Hostess was kind and helpful. Food: fried chicken was a bit dry. Not the Japanese crunchy puffy shell kind. Not bad. Yakitoris are all excellent! Nothing to complain. We ordered everything on the menu. All are good. All cooked to American perfection. Gyoza was good. Nothing to write home about. Ramen: tonkusut black was excellent. Broth was done with time. Tori was good. Also thick broth! Would definitely come back again.

We almost always have Asuka as our server, and she's seriously the sweetest. She's always so welcoming and somehow always recommends something that ends up becoming a new favorite. They've added more ramen to the menu since my last review, and the Tan Tan ramen has quickly become one of my favorites. The spicy sesame peanut broth is rich, flavorful, and has just the right amount of heat. If I'm not in the mood for ramen, I always go with the shiso butter yaki onigiri with a side of pork chashu. They torch the butter right at your table, which is such a fun touch, and it smells incredible. The mentaiko fries are still a must order every single visit, and for dessert you can't skip the matcha tiramisu or the taro ice cream with the hot green tea. The ramen, grilled meats, addicting appetizers, fun drinks, awesome atmosphere, and consistently amazing staff are exactly why I keep coming back. Easily one of my favorite spots in Orlando.

Upon entering, I immediately noticed the dimly lit, intimate atmosphere of the small sushi spot. I asked a male employee if they did takeout and had California roll. While they did offer takeout, they didn't have the specific roll I wanted. He then handed me the menu which I briefly looked over. I decided to order the Hashi roll which consisted of tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, avocado, and scallions; topped with bonito flakes and spicy mayo, and drizzled with eel sauce. I received my order within 10-15 minutes. Once inside my vehicle, opened the container to partake of its contents. Even though I knew the sushi contained raw tuna, I tried it anyway. To my surprise, I actually liked it. The combination of flavors with a light subtle kick was delicious. I'm going to bookmark this restaurant for a dining experience next time I visit Kissimmee.
