In all this time that I have lived I have never visited this Chinese Restuarant. I went due to the reviews and I had already been craving Chinese food like no other. So I went and as I walked in you could see how clean and well painted the place was compared to other Chinese establishments I have visited before. The staff is super friendly and from the moment I ordered my food and paid the food was out in 10 or less. To be honest it was within 5-10 minutes, which is quick. They had just opened and had a few tables so that was quite impressive. I took the food togo and had ordered a dinner combo minus the soup because it was take-out. There was a lot of food and it all looked and tasted great. I was quite impressed with the flavor in the broccoli beef I had got. I love that specific dish and they definitely did not disappoint in "wowing" me with that dish. None of tasted microwaved or from the day before, it was all very fresh and made to order. Just so people with babies know, there is not a changing table in the women's restroom! Other than that, it was so good! We were greeted immediately and were told to pick a table since there were only 3 other parties. We got our drinks fast, ordered, and the food took maybe 15 minutes, but didn't feel long at all. The restaurant temperature was perfect and the food was amazing. I don't usually like the soup at restaurants, but I ate all of it and was scraping the bowl. The restaurant is modern but not trendy, roomy, always clean and inviting. The food is always top notch, regardless of what you order. They even have a few spicy dishes featured on their menu for those that like it hot! The food is consistently delicious and served with large portions. They usually have daily and lunch specials as well. If you like orange chicken you're in luck. I recommend trying the House Orange Chicken! Instead of cut up individual chunks of chicken, the House Special is a large breast, lightly breaded and deep fried with the orange sauce poured over it, right before it's served. This use to be one of my favorite spots to eat ! But, after tonight I will no longer go ! First we got to the place 5:15pm and as soon as the waitress came up we order water and our dinner ! We got our food at 6:05 and the waitress never came back to refill our waters or asked if we needed anything ! We called her over 3 times and she would say " I will be right there" but never came we decided to pack our food and leave ! I told the waitress when I went to pay that " I was a little upset because she never came back to refill our water or check on if we needed anything ! Our food was cold and we were thirsty ! You would think she would of gave us at lease a 10 % discount or something but all she said was she was busy ! I left her no TIP because she sure didn't deserve one . Hands down the best Chinese food around! This place is a hidden gem. We normally eat at a Chinese restaurant near by but they ran out of rice. My boyfriend and I had our taste buds set for Chinese food so we stumbled on this restaurant. They were quick, efficient, and thorough. Our food was warm and packed properly. They are clean and practice great food handling hygiene especially during these trying times. This is the second Chinese restaurant I've tried in Visalia. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I'm originally from SF bay area and lived on the East Coast, as well as travelling abroad, so I have a lot of experiences to compare it too. We ordered take out Chicken Salad (definitely have had better, wouldn't order again), Black Bean Sauce Beef (was pretty good, would reorder), House Special Chow Mein, nothing special about it, usually a "house" chow mein will have a little bit vegetables, chicken, pork, prawn..but this was 95% chow mein noodles (very disappointing, would not order again). Although it wasn't the worst Chinese food I've had, I think I'll keep trying other places till I find the right local spot, this one isn't it. read more

This is my favorite Chinese places to eat in town. They are attentive and the food cannot be beat. Our usual order is their salt and pepper calamari. They are soft and spicy; you know they prepare it great if the calamari is not chewy and guys.. this is one of the best calamari in town. Another good one is their honey walnut shrimp. Crispy sweet and those honey walnuts are the BOMB dot com. Don't forget their house fried rice or their house chow mein both equally good. Order the carb you prefer. They also have the usual Chinese dishes: broccoli beef, orange chicken, etc. but those are too common. Go venture out and try something new! read more

One of my two or three favorite Chinese restaurants in Visalia. We arrived a little before noon on Saturday and it had not yet gotten busy. Shortly after we were seated the friendly server got out drink order and promptly returned with the drinks and took our order. The three of us shared a War Won Ton soup that was near perfection with its generous combination of dumplings, vegetables, meat, and seafood. Next came the three entries we shared....salt and pepper shrimp, orange chicken, and Ma Po Tofu. It was all delicious and offered a nice contrast of flavors that worked quite well. If you are in Visalia and in the mood for Chinese food then New China is tough to beat. read more

Even down to the deluxe vegetables that came with the teriyaki chicken dinner. What a difference 2 weeks make i guess. Tonight we ordered the special chow mein, kung pao chicken, broccoli beef, chicken fried rice and a side order of deluxe vegetables. None of it was good. It was all very mediocre. I don't know how I haven't yelped about this place before. This is the BEST Chinese food in Visalia! Hands down I promise there is no other place that even comes close. My favorite is Combo C. It comes with Soup, Pork chow mein, Pork fried rice, paper wrapped chicken, fried shrimp, sweet & sour chicken, and broccoli beef!! If you thinks that's a lot of food how about it's only $10.75 the restaurant is really clean and really spacious. During COVID it's just take out, but believe me taste as fresh as dining in!! We have found our new Chinese food place! The restaurant itself is very nice...super clean, nice ambiance. The lady that was working the front was very busy taking calls, but she was extremely pleasant and helpful! I would go back just because of her. The food is incredible. Like, SO good! We got the Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, pork chow mein and pork fried rice. We fed seven people, with seconds and still have a ton of leftovers! The Mongolian beef was super tender and SPICY! We paid the $2 extra for extra beef (worth it) The sesame chicken has a little kick to it, and was my favorite dish by far. SO good. The orange chicken and orange chicken were tender. But needed more sauce, so maybe ask for that? Chow mein and rice were delicious! The pork was super tender. Love love love this place! And the egg flower soup tasted like boiled water. No salt no seasoning at all literally was so disappointed. I dont know what went wrong but it tasted like water. I know they had lots of costumer that night and in a hurry maybe. The other food was okay. They made another mistake on my order, i ordered crispy noodle pan fried. But just got noodles only. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was never greeted. It was quiet, the lights were off and the cashier showed me no service. I said, "Hi," and she said, " What do you want?" Micro aggressively with no smile. Nor did she greet me back. I then asked for the menu because how could I know what I want without a menu? I polite asked her, " am I able to substitute items in the combos?" and before I could even finish she cut me off and said, " No! We don't do that here! If you want that order the side by itself!"And then I said thank you to be polite even though I shouldn't have. She acted as of I was bothering her. She was rude throughout our whole conversation so I decided to leave. Terrible customer service. Go somewhere where you are wanted!
