Craving Downtown Thai food in Visalia, this is the premiere spot for that particular meal. Usually pretty crowded, went at a good time... wasn't too busy. The staff is both helpful and friendly. Whatever you decide to order, it's sure to be delicious. Spicy level is 1-5; 5 being the hottest. There spice levels are a little spicer than most other Thai places I went to, definitely got an extra kick to it. We ordered carry out- Pan fried noodles with shrimp and combination fried rice; it was so good we devoured it so fast and forgot to take pictures of it. This spot is super casual. Made fresh, took approx 15 - 20 minutes to be done!

From the moment I walked in, I immediately liked this place. The decor is both elaborate and tastefully simple, with thoughtful details from floor to ceiling. I did have to wait a bit for a table, but it was the lunch rush, so that was understandable. I had high expectations for the food, and they did not disappoint. The fresh spring rolls were crisp and delicious, and the peanut sauce was perfectly spicy and flavorful. The Pad Thai came in a generous portion and was cooked beautifully, with great texture and depth of flavor. The Thai iced tea is also worth mentioning--it was excellent. If I had to note one small thing, my server wasn't very chatty, but since I was dining alone, he may have been giving me space, which I didn't mind. Overall, this is a great spot for lunch or dinner with family or friends. I'll definitely be back

Last time I got take out yellow curry they filled the container less than half full and when I questioned them they didn't budge. I got better portions today and food is good. Proof that I got skimped last time I got take out

Davorn's Restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. I first tried them when they were across the street in the small location. Now the new location is nice and has more room. And there seems to always be waiting time to be seated. But once you're seated it's all worth the wait. We have had seafood stir fry, spicy noodles with fried tofu or chicken, seafood pho, spring rolls, poke bowls, calamari, eggplant stir fry, chicken pad Thai, and mango sticky rice is delicious for dessert!! Don't forget your Thai Ice tea. The service is always great even though they are always extremely busy. The outside & inside of the restaurant is very clean

I dined in once and did take out once. Both times, there is a long wait before our order came out. If you're trying to go eat quickly or on lunch time, this spot might not be it. The food here is good, there's no complaint about the food. We like their Pad Se Ew, Salt & Pepper Shrimp, and the Sin Lot/Lao Beef Jerky. The sauce for the jerky is kind of off to me because it's thick like a paste instead of a liquid sauce. Anyways, if you order for take out through the phone. They require payment through the phone. I was driving home from work and tried to order takeout. The lady that took my order asked for my card, I said I can't I'm driving. She proceeded to tell me that I can either pull over to give my card info or I have to wait til I get there to pay. I understand that some places would want payment before making the order, but she wasn't nice about it. Like what if I wanted to pay with cash instead? I felt force to pull over and give my card info.

Disappointing. I wouldn't return. The food was okay, not something I'd pay for again. The service was not very attentive. The ambiance was just basic booths and seats and no real relaxation or enjoyable atmosphere. We were disappointed and wouldn't have return. Prices were a bit steep and the fried tempura shrimp and fried sushi roll had a dirty oil after taste and noodles lacked flavor.

Stopped by on our way to Sequoia/Kings Canyon: Awesome Thai food! My family loved their spring rolls and yellow curry especially. They also have Vietnamese and Japanese food. It took a little while to be seated on a Friday night since they look a bit short-staffed, but once seated, the food was served quickly and the waitresses were absolutely lovely. The interior is well-decorated and spacious with clean bathrooms. Small parking lot in the back.

Had lunch with my mom and sister at this spot. I'd been before and enjoyed it so had to bring more people. It was just as good as the last time. Service was a little faster this time as well. To start I had a Thai tea and it was the best I've ever had. I could tell right off the bat the color was perfect. It was more brown than orange and the flavor was PERFECT. For app we shared the spring rolls. They were very good and fresh. The sauce was on the spicier side but still good. My only feedback is that on the menu it says 2 pieces so we ordered 2 because there were 3 of us but really it's 2 rolls cut in half to make 4 good sized pieces. For entrees we had the panang curry chicken, string beans beef, and spicy noodles pork. The curry was amazing. So creamy and flavorful and loaded with veggies and protein. The strings beans have a very good sweet and savory sauce. The spicy noodles were loaded with egg which I appreciate. All was very very good. Can't wait for the next visit!

Suppose to be chow mien but got stir-fried mama noodles instead.

I used to come here regularly when they first opened many years ago. Back then, the food was excellent, the menu was small but well-executed, and everyone was treated the same. It felt special. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. Prices have gone up significantly, but the quality hasn't kept up. We ordered chow mein and were served what tasted like stir-fried Mama noodles instead. It was really disappointing, especially considering how good this place used to be.

When a restaurant brings you all of your dishes tasting great and flavorful, it's one to always remember. We ordered fried tofu, fried shrimp, fried chicken wings, spicy noodles, bamboo shoots curry, chicken chowmein, sun kissed sushi & margarita mocktails. Everything was just perfect, totally kids approved as well! The service was very quick and thoughtful in consideration when our host, Jenny, mentioned she will take extra caution for shellfish allergies and add a note for vegan sauces to be on the safe side. She was just wonderful, kind and very welcoming. The ambiance is superb, great interiors keeping in theme of the Thai and Laos decors, the washroom were clean and good. All in all just a great time, 10 on 10 highly recommend! Thank you so much! :)

Has to be my favorite restaurant in the area. This place can get busy but it is big enough to accommodate both small to larger groups. I love the Nem roll here, it's one of the better ones I've tried. The coconut curry is also really good. Something I love is you can order Lao but also get a sushi roll.

Chicken pad Thai noodles have become a complete addiction, and honestly something that I catch my self say dreaming of at times. Noodle house slays this dish in every category in my opinion. This location in particular is really cool. You don't dine in. Regardless of which side of the political spectrum a business falls on, I really don't enjoy restaurants pushing political content or creating that kind of atmosphere while customers are simply trying to sit down and enjoy a meal. There's a time and place for politics, and I personally don't think having partisan news blasting throughout a restaurant is it. The food was good, but the overall atmosphere made the experience uncomfortable enough that I probably won't be returning.

Chicken was flavorful & moist. Pork belly was crispy tho a tad dry. Sticky rice was nice good! Also ordered their spring rolls, noodles & mango w/sticky rice too. Basically besides getting your orders delivered to you at the table you get up to get everything yourselves. We've had the fried pork belly before so it was great to get the same quality. Crispy pork skin on top and juicy port meat. Good ratio of fat to meat on the pork belly. The sticky rice was huge and one order was enough for the two of us. The papaya salad was okay. We ordered Thai style and spicy but it was not spicy at all. I also would had preferred the shred to be a little thicker for the crunch. But the papaya had a nice and refreshing taste. They also have a lot of repackaged food at the counter where you order/pay. Decided do get the Tapioca dumplings (sakoot yay sai). Perfect texture of chewiness for the outside. The pork filling inside was a bit on the sweeter side but the ratio of tapioca do filling was great. Saying it as a lettuce wrap with the fried onion, cilantro, and fried chili pepper helped cut the sweetness a bit though.
