Ordered China Wok through UberEats and it was possibly one of the better Chinese foods I've had! Beef and broccoli combo and boneless spare ribs combo both came with pork fried rice of which you could taste the fire! Good flavor and the food had just the right amount of grease to soak up my hangover. Not oily and gross like some other places do it! Did I eat Chinese take out on my bed? Yes, don't judge me lol it was one of those days.

Sometimes you're just too tired to cook. And sometimes, you've just watched a documentary on Netflix and General Tso's chicken and have to disgrace your ancestors by ordering run-of-the-mill Americanized Chinese food. And sometimes there's a place close enough you can see it from your window. This perfect storm led me to order from China Wok for the first time. I've lived within two blocks of the place for the better part of 5 years and never once thought to stop in. But hey, it had decent Yelp reviews. Service is quick. So quick that it starts to make you wonder. It should take more than 10 minutes to cook chicken. But I was hungry. The General Tso's was okay, but not great. Only two pieces of soggy broccoli, and the textureless fried chicken was a decent canvas for the slightly spicy sauce. Had it over brown rice, which is a nice option. Also ordered a large hot and sour soup, which was just meh. Not too hot and not too sour. Needed much more red vinegar for tang. Had a hankering for egg rolls, so ordered two of those. Very large (pause here for egg roll jokes), but not that great. Crispy though. All that was had for under $13. At the end of the day, I'm glad there's a Chinese restaurant close to my apartment (that's not Halal). But I don't think I'll come back unless I'm super drunk or watch another documentary about Chinese food.

My search criteria was 'healthy and cheap' and it delivered! I had the mixed vegetables which had large chunks of delicious cauliflower, mushroom and carrots and more - just what I was after. There's also good value combo deals on the back of the menu which I missed when I ordered. And they have even healthier options where everything is steamed as with no added salt. Super happy with this.

Honestly, this place is really good and the prices are cheap compared to the rest of the neighborhood. Ordered a few times already.

I love this place. It's cheap, quick and tasty. I always get the same thing, chicken with mixed veggies, and it is always fresh.

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.

We were skeptical about this restaurant but it exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return! We came on a weekend for dinner so it was busy! We were able to snag a table and seeing how busy this place was, we knew it was going to be good! We had the pork XLB, chicken feet, pork & vegetable wontons with spicy peanut sauce, noodles with scallion and peanut butter sauce, beef lo mein and the beef ribs. Everything was delicious! The highlights of our meal were the pork XLB and the beef ribs. The pork XLB were made fresh to order and they were flavorful and juicy! Definitely on my list of best XLB I have ever had. The beef ribs were also delicious! They torched it table side which definitely added a nice touch! Considering how busy they were, the service was immaculate. They were also very attentive to details since we had a kid with allergies. We will definitely be coming back soon. This place is also right next to the Court Street train station which makes it very convenient to get to!
