Love this area in dumbo that they've turned into Timeout Market. It's along the water and great for a beautiful stroll or to grab a drink. We ordered some cocktails-watermelon margharira, Aperol spritz and draft beer. The bartender was so sweet. Big food hall with multiple floors. There are some great photo ops if you take the stairs outside and go up to the 4th or 5th floor. Food is pretty expensive IMO, and there aren't any water fountains, although the bar on 5th provides water. There are also only 2 bathrooms on the 5th floor, which is pretty inconvenient when there are around 100 people here. The line took me about 10-15 minutes just to get to the bathroom. read more

On my first visit to DUMBO, we randomly stumbled upon Time Out Market and didn't realize it was a food hall. What a fun surprise! There are so many options, which makes it easy for everyone to grab something different. I tend agree with other reviewers that the food is kinda pricy, but the portion was generously sized so I had leftovers for a snack later that day, Photo tip: Take the elevator up and head straight to the rooftop for views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, and NYC skyline. Catching golden hour would be a bonus. Regardless of the time of day, the waterfront views are definitely part of the experience, so don't skip this! Good to know: Seating is communal and first-come, and no reservation is needed for regular dining. Peak hours means it'll be challenging to find seating but go before the lunch rush and you'll be fine. Apparently, vendor hours can vary, so check before you go. One little heads-up: I've visited in both summer and winter, and the bathroom line was crazy both times! I read there's another option downstairs that's less chaotic, so definitely check for that. Went here with wife & friends for our first time and had a really great time . We dined at cecconi's italian restaurant which was one of so many places to eat there . We were greeted and seated very graciously and the Food was good , service was good our waiter was Hemingway and he was great in the every way . Ambiance was great. Unfortunately There was one bartender there with a white jacket ( a very good looking gentleman) who I couldn't help noticing kept violating every cross examination rule in the book included eating lemon slices while serving & not wiping his hands then placing lemon wedges while preparing drinks along while continually wiping his face and touching his mouth with his hands and never once washing them which was extremely off putting but luckily for us was Not preparing any of our drinks so i find it impossible to give more than 3 stars with that being a factor . read more

I went to Time Out Market to check out chaat dog. I have been there before to eat at other vendors. The place can have a lot of people, but I always find sitting. Honestly some vendors are pricey. For instance, Chaat Dog meal which was the chaat dog, small fries, and a soda was about $24. That way too much for a hot dog, fries, and drink. The Dumbo area has many food options but very few offer stunning views like this. Time Out Market in Dumbo features a food hall with a variety of cuisines (see video & photos). I was passing by for the World Cup. They had multiple screens to view the games, the place was crowded with enthusiastic fans. There's a cocktail bar near the rooftop - I didn't have time for food or drinks. The bar was pretty empty but there was a very long line for the Bark Barbeque - Dominican Texas style. After an afternoon at a local theater I headed to this nearby establishment. Even on a cold February day, this place was bustling with people! This space houses a variety of different eateries. Latin food, BBQ, Ramen, burgers, desserts, and the list goes on. I opted for ramen and chose Okiboru/Tan Tan. This was my first time trying Tsukemen styled ramen. I picked the Tori Paitan Ramen. Its thin noodles swimming in a delicious chicken broth, accompanied by chicken dumplings was extremely satisfying. I was told by one of the workers there that there's a rooftop bar and the place hosts live music, cultural events and workshops. So much to enjoy here at this waterfront venue. I am looking forward to returning in the "can't get here soon enough spring/summer". Just a reminder this place is in DUMBO, so the prices in the area definitely are reflective of the neighborhood. Some friends and I attended a galentine event here and had an amazing time. This was my first time at this venue and I was pleasantly surprised. They have food and dessert vendors on the first floor and rooftop area on the 5th floor. There were dj's on both floors. We chilled on the rooftop area where there were tons of seating. They have a large dining area to sit and eat and drink. They had chairs and couches to chill and enjoy NYC water and Skyviews. The DJ (DJ Stretch) on the rooftop was amazing and played a lot of old school music from different genres. The venue was packed on Valentines day (2025). There was also an amazing violinist, (Judithviolinist on IG). This is definitely a place to check out and get your grub on or just sit and chill. Such an interesting indoor/outdoor bar lounge area! My boyfriend brought me here so we could go outside, but they're a little outdoor dome area was closed due to the snow! Lol Inside they had two giant bars, with at least four bartenders working and what looked like a stage area so I'm sure they have different venues or people performing! We got a round of drinks and they were perfectly done as well as them having some snack menu items. We already ate beforehand so we didn't get any snacks. A great indoor lounge with long table spaces to share or individual bar seats and smaller tables as well. I would like to come back and check out their outside dome area with the little plastic igloo thing! But it was way too cold to go outside without any extra protection from the harsh winter weather. Time out is a HUGE Food Hall in Dumbo. It's very cool but crowded AF. We were pushing our stroller with our 2 kids and didn't think we were going to make it out alive. Ladies, forgot the bathroom...there were only 4 stalls and the line wraps around the food hall. Props to all the dads that took their kids to the men's bathroom which was significantly shorter. The Food scene is very interesting though. Lots of great variety (even though it's super overpriced). hubby ordered a ramen/rice dish for the kids and I went for the signature rolls at Mori Mori. They need to do better in terms of clearing out the tables. We were trying to return the trays but they told us to leave it on the table.... Which makes it a mess for another group trying to sit down and eat. Have it like the mall, where you can leave dirty trays at a designated area by the trash bin. They have a variety of different options and all ca be preferred directly from table via QR codes. Our group ordered smash burgers, quesadillas and a Reuben. We were also able to order beers directly to us. The burgers and quesadilla and chips came out almost immediately but the Reuben took for-ev-er. To the point that all our other food was gone and we had to go check on if the order actually went through. It did...they were just sloooooow. Upside, it was tasty. This spot also has a great rooftop area with excellent views of the bridge. On nicer nights it would be a great place to hang out. Timeout Market continues to be a great destination in the Dumbo area. I do love the diversity of Time Out Market. Weather you want Indian, pancakes, pasta, or fried chicken - you can find it here. Most recently I got a pizza from Fornino, which is kind of f hidden on the top floor (there's also a little balcony rooftop that should not be missed). They had a seasonal corn pizza on the menu which was delicious - I really loved it. I also got the arancini which were disappointing, the Arborio rice inside was still crunchy :/ I believe they used to be served with a truffle aioli which I miss. There's 2 floors of food options here with a ton of variety and seating. Top floor has gorgeous views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridge! Went to Time Out Market on a Saturday for lunch. It was PACKED! There are so many restaurants to choose from and bars are scattered throughout. Plenty of food to choose from. We ordered from 2 different spots (food included homemade pasta and chicken Caesar wrap). Everything was great! You receive a buzzer when you order and you go back for your food. Even though it was packed, we were able to find seats to sit. My only complaint is the bathroom situation. There were bathrooms on the 1st floor and 5th floor and gigantic lines for both. The staff were kind and professional. -Yummy food (provided by the food vendors on the rooftop), good variety, and some of the drinks were good -Gorgeous rooftop views of the Brooklyn Bridge and Williamsburg Bridge. Everyone had a view of the fireworks. Cons: -Exorbitantly expensive ($318 for entry). I, personally, love the pasta bar restaurant downstairs, but there are MANY incredible options to choose from. The rooftop has an amazing view of the Brooklyn bridge and Manhattan skyline, which is a major plus. It does get super crowded on the weekends, so be prepared for that. I follow the publication back in LA for date ideas and new finds, so I am definitely a fan. This market is a glorious concept with good eats they have brought all into one spot in Manhattan.
