    Rooftop bar time out dumbo
    Marie S.

Go straight to the rooftop for amazing views ! The outdoor area has views of both the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges. The vibe is very relaxed and friendly. The Dumbo area has many food options but very few offer stunning views like this. Time Out Market in Dumbo features a food hall with a variety of cuisines (see video & photos). I was passing by for the World Cup. They had multiple screens to view the games, the place was crowded with enthusiastic fans. There's a cocktail bar near the rooftop - I didn't have time for food or drinks. The bar was pretty empty but there was a very long line for the Bark Barbeque - Dominican Texas style. Maybe next time when there's less of a wait.

What a cool establishment in Brooklyn with beautiful views of the BMW bridges (Brooklyn ,Manhattan ,Williamsburg) from the rooftop. There are restaurants and shops inside. The restrooms are nice. A lovely place to hang and lounge out with seating all around on each floor. The views along the East River are gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Big place .. with different views of the water. Excellent seating options and good food. The bar upstairs on the rooftop serves horrible drinks! Weak and the wait is ridiculous... however the courtyards are nice with neighboring businesses in the area to see.

This place is pretty cool to visit when you're in DUMBO--the views are magical. It's a great spot to hang out and grab food or drinks. It can get crowded, though, if you don't mind that. Just a heads up: the bathroom line can get insanely long. TIP: Head downstairs to another bathroom--the line is usually much shorter since most people don't realize it's there.

Some friends and I attended a galentine event here and had an amazing time. This was my first time at this venue and I was pleasantly surprised. They have food and dessert vendors on the first floor and rooftop area on the 5th floor. There were dj's on both floors. We chilled on the rooftop area where there were tons of seating. They have a large dining area to sit and eat and drink. They had chairs and couches to chill and enjoy NYC water and Skyviews. The DJ (DJ Stretch) on the rooftop was amazing and played a lot of old school music from different genres. The venue was packed on Valentines day (2025). There was also an amazing violinist, (Judithviolinist on IG). This is definitely a place to check out and get your grub on or just sit and chill. There's tons of seats available picnic style or lounge/ sofa seating.

Okiboru House Of Tan Tan Tori Paitan Ramen

After an afternoon at a local theater I headed to this nearby establishment. Even on a cold February day, this place was bustling with people! This space houses a variety of different eateries. Latin food, BBQ, Ramen, burgers, desserts, and the list goes on. I opted for ramen and chose Okiboru/Tan Tan. This was my first time trying Tsukemen styled ramen. I picked the Tori Paitan Ramen. Its thin noodles swimming in a delicious chicken broth, accompanied by chicken dumplings was extremely satisfying. I was told by one of the workers there that there's a rooftop bar and the place hosts live music, cultural events and workshops. So much to enjoy here at this waterfront venue. I am looking forward to returning in the "can't get here soon enough spring/summer". Just a reminder this place is in DUMBO, so the prices in the area definitely are reflective of the neighborhood. That being said, spoil yourself a little....you're worth it! Thank me later......

This place is amazing and with plenty of variety of food to pick no matter what you're craving. The atmosphere is cool, and despite how busy it can get, the place is always clean and well-kept. It's a great place to explore, try different foods and there's a rooftop to see the Brooklyn Bridge. Highly recommend stopping by!

    Bleu cheese burger from Smashed

Fantastic location, lots of variety, plenty of seating, beautiful views from sitting inside or out. I loved being able to find a table and ordering via QR code and having food and drinks brought to you vice losing your table if you had to actually stand in line to get food. We grabbed 2 counter top seats in front of the pasta place but ordered burgers from Smashed. Food came out quickly. They were delicious. My husband got the Ultimate and I got a bleu cheese burger. I only wished I asked for extra bleu cheese. My only complaint would be I wish they had more bathrooms cuz those lines were long and stayed long, but did move at a good pace.

Such an interesting indoor/outdoor bar lounge area! My boyfriend brought me here so we could go outside, but they're a little outdoor dome area was closed due to the snow! Lol Inside they had two giant bars, with at least four bartenders working and what looked like a stage area so I'm sure they have different venues or people performing! We got a round of drinks and they were perfectly done as well as them having some snack menu items. We already ate beforehand so we didn't get any snacks. A great indoor lounge with long table spaces to share or individual bar seats and smaller tables as well. I would like to come back and check out their outside dome area with the little plastic igloo thing! But it was way too cold to go outside without any extra protection from the harsh winter weather. Lol.

Fun atmosphere, great views, and food for every taste and palate. Pick and choose, and good luck with that because there are so many great choices. Then take a walk outside and marvel at the little island and how on the world they managed to make that stand in the middle of the water. Great place for a casual date.

Timeout Market continues to be a great destination in the Dumbo area. I do love the diversity of Time Out Market. Weather you want Indian, pancakes, pasta, or fried chicken - you can find it here. Most recently I got a pizza from Fornino, which is kind of f hidden on the top floor (there's also a little balcony rooftop that should not be missed). They had a seasonal corn pizza on the menu which was delicious - I really loved it. I also got the arancini which were disappointing, the Arborio rice inside was still crunchy :/ I believe they used to be served with a truffle aioli which I miss. What's cool about Time Out is that you can pickup food and sit at one of their two bars and order cocktails. We sat at the bar counter and enjoyed our food.

6/2/2026, Went to this place to see and taste some of the foods of the small businesses. To my surprise I decided to try the Pastrami Sandwich and to my surprise it was tasteful though I had better. You have a variety of small businesses of food vendors to try their food. I was truly impressed with the amount of food vendors. It has been years since a visited Dumbo area and a lot changed.

Lively food court in Brooklyn. We found out about Timeout markets when we were in Portugal and thrilled when we found out there was one in NY. There's 2 floors of food options here with a ton of variety and seating. Top floor has gorgeous views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridge! Easy to order from a QR code at the table and they'll deliver the food directly to you. We got the following: - Fried chicken salad from Jacob's pickles. The chicken was a bit dry and there was no sauce - Brussel sprouts from the Rogue Panda. Good, but overly saucy - maple old fashioned from Roof Top Bar

I rarely went home invoking a strong enthusiastic response to come back to eat something again. Their strong suite was location, space, and variety. What I loved most--besides having a reliable bathroom in Midtown--was what it became for the people around it. It was a place where office workers could decompress after work, grab a beer with coworkers, or catch up with friends they hadn't seen in a while. There was something refreshing about the atmosphere. People seemed relaxed and unguarded, shedding the polished professional persona they'd worn all day. It felt like watching the city exhale for a little while. And another thing I appreciated was their attempt to represent different nationalities under one roof. The more common items performed the worse and that's probably when you come to a space dedicated to hawker style cuisine, you expect to try some of their more novel stuff like Coffee Pork Fried Rice (from a stall that specialized in fried rice) or Noodles in Bechamel. I also frequently enjoyed their only drinks provider for the best Yuen Yang I've ever had. The method for making them seems theatrical at first but when you've had one that wasn't properly aerated, you truly taste the chalky bitter tannins. It was a good thing there was an experience worker there (possibly the owner). Who you got to make your drink was hit or miss because at varying times, my gf would be lucky enough to run into the one guy who could do it with oatmilk (she's lactose intolerant). It's sad to see this place go and there'll be many times ahead of us where we point out that that's where the Urban Hawker used to be.

It added a lot to the dish, with the curry chicken + slight hint of coconut flavors and the meaty paste on top of the rice. everything works pretty well together here - just the egg was a bit overcooked and the chicken was also just slight overdone. I would go to this stall again! Nice find- I like it a lot!
