Every crown and filling I have received from this dentist office has rotted out or fell out of my mouth

First time these people made me upset was when we arrived 12 minutes late, although our appointment was scheduled for an hour, and they rescheduled us... instead of letting us get the other 47 minutes of our scheduled appointment time. Today, we arrived, and was told that we were not even scheduled! They stated that the appointment that was scheduled for today was actually completed on March 31st. We were here on March 31st but did not get the service that day! I was told that they would have a manager call me but that was also told to me before?? I'm not impressed with this place whatsoever. Tried making an appointment for over a year. They rescheduled me 3 times and each time it was due to their hygienist having to leave for an emergency... each time I rescheduled they pushed me back another 5-6 months, making no effort in getting me in sooner. read more

If you're getting an extraction DO NOT COME HERE. The ladies were fine but the older man working here is an A**hole. First off he comes in telling me how it's a good thing I don't wear glasses because my eyelashes would be brushing the dust off of them. Then he proceeds to tell me I'm way too young to be losing teeth as if that hasn't already crossed my mind more than enough. So he then numbs my mouth , he tested if it was hurting at all and it was so he numbed it more. He then breaks my tooth (which I think is normal) then when he's pulling my tooth out he pushes my head so f*ing hard to the left my head was all the way off the damn head rest. Then afterwards there was shards of my tooth in my mouth from when he broke it and he didn't even take them out , I left with pieces of my broken tooth IN MY MOUTH!! There's also still a part of my tooth left in my gums. They barely went over what I was supposed to do for post opt. And told me to take Tylenol or ibuprofen!?! I feel like I got hit in the face with a bat. Also the instruction sheet they give you for aftercare has a bunch of typos and in my opinion this place is so unprofessional. I left that place in tears. Call me dramatic but the way he pushed my head f*ing hurt!! Would NEVER recommend and I'm just saying they're lucky I'm only 18 with no lawyer money. read more

I almost didn't go to this place because the reviews were so bad. But let me just tell you from the call that I had over the phone to making the appointment to the hygienist that cleaned my teeth I thought it was a top-notch experience. I would definitely recommend coming to this establishment. read more

Today was only my second appointment with new day dental. I was warned about this place from multiple people. Should have listened but was only place that would take me in ASAP. Was suppose to have extractions done only to get told after driving 30 minutes here to get dropped off and waited 20/30 minutes in the lobby , I get called back and told "your not here for extractions your here for consultation to go over a possible infection"not only that was an issue but the lady who pulled me back was extremely rude . Go up front and they could have fit me in today another front desk employee offered but the rude lady wouldn't allow it because "too behind". have been on antibiotics since over a month for awful infection & tooth pain for months.they had no idea what was going on up front or what work i needed done.. read more

The cleaning i had was good, but I needed teeth extracted as well. They said they gave me something so I would not feel any pain during the procedure. Turns out I felt some of the worst pain I've ever experienced, and now I have an infection. They barely went into aftercare. read more

A complete QUACK Operation! Incompetent, Rude & only interested in performing whatever your Insurance would pay for 100% - anything else they weren't too interested in unless you could prove you had lots of money to pay for it! First & only time I went & they did expensive X-Rays covered by insurance, told me I needed some fillings & a Root Canal but this was a Kicker to me....told me they wouldn't do a CLEANING until all other work was taken care of!! Are you kidding me??? I've never been to a Dentist in my 63 years of Life that doesn't do a Cleaning as one of the Very First things!! read more

Horrible Horrible Horrible Company. I have gone to them for years and have had multiple issues They only reason I stayed was due to my insurance I had a dental bridge placed in 2018. I had 2 policies and was told at that time and on multiple occasions I had 100% coverage. I was never told differently and I was never billed. New Day bought out Dayton Dental. They never told me they no longer took my insurance. I was billed for a routine cleaning. When they discovered their error they were to right that amount off because I was never notified. As it turned out New Day decided to bill and since it was not covered they are charging me. It also turns out they are now charging for the bridge I was told was 100% covered at the tune of $2,400. The attorney General has advised me to take them to small claims court which I intend to do. read more

I went into Dayton Dental in Feb 2020, showed them my insurance card, and asked if it was true that I got free cleanings with my insurance. Someone at the desk called Liberty Dental for verification, said yes, and set up an appointment. I showed up a few weeks later for my appointment and I again stated that I was there for my free dental (the practice then was called Newday Dental). Everyone was very nice, and I was impressed by the diversity of the staff and patients. I was immediately taken in to a room where they took the panoramic x-rays. Then they put me in a chair and covered me with the vest to take bite wings. I said, "my insurance does both kinds?". She nodded yes and they took bite wings x-rays. I did not see the Dr. I was told I would see, but whomever I saw was nice enough. I left feeling very happy with what I thought would be my new dentist after a thorough cleaning. Then, I got a statement & phone calls saying I owed $150. At one point I was told I owe because I saw someone out of network. Then it was because I the practices contract didn't start until April. Then finally it was because my insurance only pays for one kind of x-rays. I would get phone calls or statements for awhile, I would refute what I had agreed to verbally initially, and then I wouldn't hear anything for awhile, and then it would start up again. In March of this year, I got a collection notice. I called the collection agency and started to explain the issue, but all they wanted to know was if I was refuting the balance. I said "hell yes!". A few weeks later, I called Newday to find out if this is resolved. The person I spoke with got into my account and said, "No, you don't owe anything ". I asked for a statement verifying that. She mailed a statement showing that the balance was sent to collection, but the written off. A few days later I received another statement only dated the following day showing simply that I owe nothing. There is a statement message stating "Reminder: We bill your insurance as a courtesy to you. It is YOUR responsibility to be familiar with your plan coverage, limitations and co-pays, etc. We advise that you follow up with your insurance carrier on any claims unpaid after 60 days from the date of service. As consistent with applicable laws and the terms of your insurance or other plan coverage, CLAIMS THAT ARE NOT PAID FOLLOWING 90 DAYS FROM DATE OF SERVICE will become patient responsibility for payment AT TIME OF VISIT". Today, I got mail from the collection agency telling me I still owe $150 plus $7.75 in interest to Magnolia Dental, whomever the hell they are, and the interest could accrue further. I thought I was dealing with Dayton Dental who became Newday Dental, and my Anthem Medicare dental insurance through Liberty Dental. All I ever wanted was my free cleaning, but clearly there is no such thing. Had I known upfront that I would have had to pay an extra $150, I never would have gone to Dayton Dental/Newday Dental. I honestly am not sure here who's at fault, but at this point, I am not happy with Newday or Liberty Dental. read more
