The massages are good for the price However I wonder "who…read morethey think their clients are ??" I have been in twice , both times door was locked Because you pay first , I ask for change right away - they never seem to have any - The first time I waited until after the massage politely , went I asked if she had change she told me that $20 is ok for 70 minute massage. And would not give me anything back The second time I went in and asked for change (got 45 minutes instead of 60) she told me "Clients give $20 for one hour" I'm thinking , they give you a 50% tip for less then s full job. Can anyone tell me what is the "tipping expectation" is out here -- - ?

My wife and I have been going to this place for more than six years now and for the most part we've…read morebeen satisfied. This shop is clean, quiet and comfortable. For me being comfortable while getting a massage means not being cold. They don't turn on their a/c here and that's great for me. I can't stand a/c especially when I'm naked. The most common complaints you see in places like this are noisy and/or rude workers. You don't get that here. Masseuses that are not working stay in the break room where you can't hear them talk. Even if you get one who is not well versed with the English language they can still be polite and courteous. I guess the owner stresses that to her employees. On cold days most places turn on the central heating which usually is not enough (for me anyway). This place has a space heater in every room and the mattresses are heated. How cool (or warm) is that! Get eight 1 hr massages and you get one free; other places want you to get ten before you get one free. Most places don't even offer any freebies. Here they don't hassle you for more tip like some shops; they are happy with what you give them; no place is perfect and the only minor negative about this shop: when everybody is busy they have to lock the front door so when the door bell rings someone has to leave the room to attend to it. But that doesn't happen a lot. When you're so relaxed and half asleep you won't notice it anyway. And most masseuse will make up the time lost.

Let me start by saying... I am not a massage therapist's favorite client. My body is basically made…read moreof rocks, boulders, and steel -- especially in my neck, shoulders, and upper back. So when Coco started my 2-hour session and asked what kind of pressure I wanted, I said: extra hard, please. And she did not hesitate. The first hour honestly felt like a full-on wrestling match (in the best way). Elbows working overtime, digging into every knot and layer of tension I've been carrying around. She may be small-framed, but the strength and control? Next level. I know some people feel a certain way about these Asian reflexology-style spots, but I don't discriminate -- because every once in a while, you find a someone who truly delivers. Coco is that person. After she worked on one side of my back, I had to stop and ask for her name so I could make sure I request her again. What stood out most was her understanding of leverage, pressure, and muscle release. She knew exactly how to find the hidden tension points and work through them. And when she hit areas that were especially tender, she adjusted -- shifting to slower, more controlled movements. At times, her rhythm even synced with my breathing, which helped the muscles release even more. That level of awareness? Rare. This is not a gentle, fall-asleep kind of massage -- and that's exactly what I want. I go for real work, to break through tightness and pain, and Coco delivered. If you're looking for a deep, no-nonsense massage that gets into those stubborn knots, Coco is your person. Yes, it's not for everyone -- and that's okay. But for me? I'll absolutely be back to see Coco.

I give this review with a heavy heart. I'm the type that wants local businesses to succeed…read more E Massage Therapy used to be owned by Eva, who definitely put the customer first and cared about everyone who walked through those doors. When she passed a couple of years ago her daughters took over and I'm sure they never had the passion for the business as their mom. Evidently recently there's been a change in ownership. All gift certificates previously bought are no longer being honored. I tried to explain that when they acquired the business they also took on the previous debts ( the already paid for massages via gift certificates). They say they will only honor them if Alia ( Eva's daughter) tells them to, but after my son tried to contact her to no avail and then I tried she finally got back and said the new ownership is not accepting them. So basically she threw the ball back in their court after they threw it in hers. Doesn't matter who's court the ball is now in, I've left the arena and will never come back. And I suggest any of you to look elsewhere for a massage but if you do feel the need to go there do not under any circumstance buy a gift card because who knows how long this business that's unwilling to work something out with a loyal customer will last. Over the years I've purchased no less than forty or more certificates and had countless massages myself. No more. Ever again!!
