i wish i could give no stars. driving past needed a clean up. i came in for a simple eyebrow wax and she completely hacked my shit. once i asked her to fix it she starts to tell me about how i need to thread because waxing isn't precise. no. your aren't precise nor is she professional. i am a esthetician that's works with wax 100% so you can't tell me that wax isn't precise because if you a true professional and knows what you are doing. there are no excuses. i wanted so badly to walk out and not give her a dime. because the service isnt worth loose change found in a sofa. more over the fact she confidently gave me thst excuse and let walk out of the salon knowing she did a terrible job lets me know how much she value customers. 0% read more

Was instantly turned away without a warm welcome:( I stop in this place from time to time. Always had a bad experience with one particular threading specialist but figured it's local and I can walk there while baby sleeps in the stroller. Also I have a small harmless therapeutic dog who sleeps on bottom of stroller while I do my thing. I take him everywhere and mostly get complimented on his obedient behavior. Was disappointed as to the treatment I received Because I had a pet with me. I'd like to think in these times people of different cultures could have an open mind and realize that some people look at their Pets as family or even their children. Do NOT ever go to the elderly woman there. She does not know how to thread eyebrows. She messed up my entire left eyebrow. Super thin and took hairs off in scattered places. The absolute worst experience. read more

ok so i went there and its not my first te to go but this tile was an old lady. I asked her to do my eyebrows that ive been letting grow for more than 6-7m and i told her i want a clean and threading to give a good shape. she said of course i sat on chair she didnt even clean the area of eyebrows or powder it but went strain in the threeding and was pulling so hard my eyes were tearing up. and she told me done. i get up to check she didnnt do nothing st all basically cleaning the white peach fuzz around. I told her no i need to give a shape but not to thin and she was telling me no no keep it like this come back another time to give a shape only so she could charge me more. I jept telling her No do it what i told you to do she kept refuzing over and over again cuz she wanted me to go back another time for shape and was today only cleaning. Until i told her raised voice just do it what i told u do to. idk why she kept saying no for so long. read more

I come here for my waxing and I definitely recommend the place. They never double dip the wax and use individual one time use chocolate wax. Smells amazing and coming from a medical professional finding a clean hygienic salon seems impossible. With so many people in the city going to a place where they double dip in the wax in the same large wax container, you're putting yourself at risk every time. I highly recommend this place for waxing and especially Uma. read more

I honestly left this place in tears. I could not believe how awful my experience was. Not only do my eyebrows look god awful but the women who worked on them did not have a clue about what she was doing. I'm so upset that I purposefully made an account to review them. My eyebrows are swollen down to my eyelid. When I told the worker that it's burning beyond words her response was "you have too much hair", instead of taking a moment to realize that I was bleeding from the thread burn. I'm disgusted. It literally looks as though a cat clawed my eyes and eyebrows. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMENDED. Awful. (I only gave this a 1 star because it wouldn't let me post without it). read more

If you want your eyebrows waxed don't go to this place. I walked in and asked for an eyebrow waxed. She then proceeded to ask me why I don't thread my eyebrows and I explained that I've had bad experiences with threading in the past and that it took me 3 years to grow my eyebrows back in from threading. As I'm telling her this she proceeded to thread my eyebrows when I told her not to. I then asked her to trim the top of the beginning of my eyebrows with a scissors and she barely did that as you can see from the photos it is still bushy. You can also see that my left eyebrow is thinner than my right and that she didn't tweeze any of the hair under my eyebrows when I asked her to. Terrible absolutely terrible. I am furious that my eyebrows look like this and I now have to go home to clean and tweeze my eyebrows myself. read more

I bought a Groupon for this salon. I had the hardest time getting in touch with the salon. When I did they said they are no longer on Groupon and are not honoring any credit. After I explained that I would be losing money, they did offer a discount on a wax. I made an appointment for 5:30. At around 3 I called and explained that I am on my way from Brooklyn and would it be possible to come earlier like 4:30. The woman said yes and that's good because she is nervous to drive in snow and wants to close earlier than their posted 7pm time. I explained that I'm coming from work and my GPS says arrival time 4pm but that since it's a bit slushy/rainy there may be traffic and so to be safe I will say 4:15/4:30. They do not have a par lot and so by the time I found parking I got to the door at 4:40. The technician was leaving! She said I said I'd be here at 4:15. I repeated our convo from earlier. She said the weather is bad and so she's closing....uh it's basically raining. There was NO snow on the ground and I even had arrived before my appointment time and way before the time they are supposed to close. I said could I at least get a refund then for the Groupon, she said no come tomorrow. I explained I was coming from Brooklyn and have a busy schedule and she just shrugged me off. I'm sorry but I don't just have an open schedule that can accommodate her whims of open and closing times or being on Groupon and then not. I will NEVER go to this salon simply for their poor customer service. read more

I purchased a groupon for a chocolate Brazilian wax, it was only $21. I never learn my lesson with things like this, I try to save a couple dollars (more like $30) on waxes and end up with an outcome that screams "you get what you pay for." I will never go back. The lady who waxed me, I believe she was the boss, was extremely nice and very comforting but that's not an excuse. First of all, I came in and asked to use the bathroom because when I get waxed I always go on a day where I have nothing to do so I can shower and go straight there, this way when I go in the bathroom I put a tampon in and wipe myself with feminine wipes. When I went back to the room she immediately came in, she didn't even give me a chance to change and get myself situated. This may not be huge, but if every other place I've been to allows their client to change in privacy then it's obviously the right way to do things. I had to undress in front of her, and it was just extremely awkward. Second, the wax she used was the first chocolate wax I've had that you can't smell. Third, I'm 99.9999% sure she double dipped. Fourth, she was also the only person I've got a Brazilian from to do most of the job while I was in one position, which explains why I walked out of there with so many leftover hairs. She used the same strip multiple times over and over again. The first time I ever got a cheap, incomplete Brazilian the lady blamed it on the fact that my hair was too short. So I made sure my hairs were the exact length they tell you to have it. There was no excuse. I have a whole patch of hair on my bikini line that is clearly pubic hair that she missed. There are hairs all over the place. When she was done she threw a bunch of baby powder on me to cover up her half assed job. Then she told me to come back in a week or 2 and she'd charge me the same Groupon price. No thanks, I've learned my lesson, and I will now add the $70 at European Wax Center to my list of monthly expenses. read more

One of the ladies there are very rude, seems to get upset or annoyed soon as you walk into the salon. When you sit in the chair she is somewhat accommodating because that is her job. Hands are very heavy, and thugs on your skin. Gets mad when you dont hold your eyebrow correctly and huffs and puffs while waxing or threading you. Puts hot wax immediately on your skin. Almost burned me.The other two ladies are very nice thats why i gave 2 stars instead of one. But somehow never get the other two ladies. Would not recommend AT ALL. read more

I got my eyebrows threaded here for the first time (I used to get them waxed) and I loved it! There was no wait and I felt very comfortable. My eyebrows were done in 5 minutes and they came out perfect. She was very precise and gentle. I'll definitely be going here for my eyebrows from now on! read more
