I usually don't get my lashes done for many reasons, but since it was my birthday, I decided to book a session with Jessica, the owner. From the start, the experience was frustrating--she rescheduled my appointment, saying she had other things to do. After some back and forth, we finally agreed on a new time, even though I had already booked online. When I arrived, I was excited and showed her a video of the lashes I wanted. She assured me she could do them but mentioned adding a small twist to enhance the look. I told her that was fine as long as they still resembled the video. Unfortunately, they didn't. When I expressed my disappointment and asked for a fix, she showed no concern. Her customer service was awful--once I paid, she completely disregarded my satisfaction. To make matters worse, my lashes started falling out after just 3-4 days. I reached out, and she offered a complimentary set, even calling to confirm. Since it takes me about 2.5 hours to get there, I made the trip--only for her to claim, "Oh, no, I didn't know I was talking to you," and refuse to redo my lashes. This was after an entire conversation on Instagram, while I was in a different state. She simply didn't care. I was devastated and on the verge of tears. i booked a service at self care studio with on of jess's students in training i think?? i had something happen to me prior to the time of my appointment so i informed them i would be late. they told me it would be a $20 extra charge. i said fine just because i really wanted my lashes done even though on there booking page it states they don't have a late charge. i came in with sophia who was the student doing my lashes and everything was going good until they started on my lashes. first of all when i first saw jess she was disrespectful to me and i even asked her a question on the length of lashes was receiving and she told me i "didn't know anything" about what she was talking about. jess then started on my lashes and then her student took over. after 2 hours my lashes were finally done and personally i think they looked nothing like my inspo pic. both sophia and jess tryed to convince me otherwise but i still wasn't satisfied. overall i am very disappointed and my lashes were already falling out as soon as i left and are irritating my eyes. read more

so i made an appt for the first time at this location, it was highly recommended by a close friend, I had requested Jessica but was told she is not available that day so i went ahead and booked it with someone else at the same location i explained i had an important event, they called me back and said Jessica can see me but it would be early, i said fine... this is the third time I ever did my lashes so Jessica decides to text me that morning and ask what i was looking to do i told her a classic set and i told her kinda the same thing she did to my friend and i showed her a picture so she can remember, fast forward it was the worse experience ever, she kept talking through the whole thing which is not a problem but i feel like that distracted her which end up being a bad job i had gaps in between my lashes and she said that's what a classic is, I also got the teeth whitening and tooth gem. Long story short lash glue got in the bottom of my eye and i was in severe pain with gaps in my lashes and i had the only gum infection from the device that was used to keep my mouth open i wonder if her gloves were clean when inserting that in my mouth never had a gum infection. my advice to you stay away this is not luxury service although it would be so nice because the location is in the heart of Brooklyn and on top of that i gave big tip!! wish i can get a full refund but i cant and wish she would of removed them like i asked but she said no obviously my happiness as her customer did NOT matter read more

My first wax and any other after that was with Nora. She's Very comforting, quick, and makes it as painless as it can be. She takes her time so it is never rushed. She's also great at keeping you distracted with conversation so you aren't focused at the part where the wax is pulled off. She explains everything too which really helps as a first timer!
