On the positive side: We agreed on a price and a weight goal with a date of closure, the same time box that everyone gets. The goal was achieved (yes, it was not cheap, and technically it's a "lifetime" membership minus the cost of materials etc.) and even beaten by 3 pounds. They did do everything they promised at the beginning, and I followed the instructions dutifully and got to where I needed to get to. The visits themselves were efficient and quick and the initial text interactions were just fine. No issues. On the Negative side: Once I reached my goal, and actually surpassed it, they gave me a paper document that was supposed to by the base of the rest of the plan for the rest of my life, I guess. It was fairly generic and turned out to be essentially useless. I went back to KETO, added OMAD and IF and got back to the goal weight on my own. For follow-up visits, they were IMPOSSIBLE to CONTACT by phone or text once I was done with the initial program. I wanted to get one last weigh-in with their scale system to get a print out of my sustained weight and that just never materialized, then quarantine hit. I was completely forgotten and noticed that they moved people around their locations around metro Boston. Conclusions: Yes, they will get you to your goal weight if you stick to their program. It's basically calorie/portion control with some detox and weight loss supplements. If you follow the program, it's almost impossible to fail, BUT once you are done, their "lifetime" membership seems to evaporate as they become nearly impossible to deal with or connect with. I had to at times literally drive down there and walk in just to get a follow up weigh in. Once you are there, they are very friendly, though. I want just one last visit, as I said above, and I don't really need their help anymore as I have figured things out for myself. If you need help and are stuck at a plateau for 6 months or more, then go right ahead and use these folks, if they come back online with their new name. BUT, don't expect any long-term help from them as they are currently constituted. IF they come up with a genetically customized diet for you, then give that a try. I initially was very happy with their results until they handed me that last sheet, and then I realized I was on my own again, and the "Lifetime" membership was just a way of making the very high base fee sound justified. If I hadn't plateaued, I would never have needed them, though. (also: expect no lasting connections here; people are always being shifted around and their hours are not the best) read more

I tried NEFL last year and although I lost weight on it, it's almost impossible to keep it off. I ate ~600-700 calories a day, only two meals a day for 60 days, which made going back to eating normally a very tricky and impossible task to continue with the weight loss. That being said, I am not against NEFL. If someone needs to lose weight QUICK, then it may be a good move. They advertise 25-40 lbs lost in 60 days and I was exactly 25lbs lighter after the 60 days. Unfortunately the weight couldn't stay off once I went back to eating 1,500-2,000 calories a day. My only BIG issue with the program is the cost...over 2 grand for the program. I recognize that they say it is "comparable" with other diet plans like it, but they never say what diet plans they are comparing against. Most importantly, I don't think that justifies over-charging people for it. It would be a huge differentiator if they could be less expensive than other programs. I think more people would try it if it were more affordable for the average person. In the program, you will get three bottles that will help you feel less hungry (suppress 'starvation mode' in your brain). You get a booklet to track your food (they limit the food to 300-400 calories per meal), pink Himalayan salt you have to eat every morning and a number you have to text once a day with your weight. That's basically the day-in-the-life of this over $2,000 program. I can't imagine the profit margin they must make. read more

Is this program a fair value for what you are getting, NO Will you lose weight on this program, yes, Did I lose the 25 lbs that they promised yes Do they support you like they claim, NO For a similar amount of money you could hire a personal trainer/nutritionist for 5-6 months. That would be a better value for your dollar. If I had to do it all over again I would not work with this company. Their idea of support is random automated texts from the so called app. Which is poorly designed, and not very user friendly. Also there is an apparent time limit to their support as well. After 60 days they shut you out. The promise of long term support is apparently a false statement to get you to pay the huge sign up fee. I felt that they did not try to work with me in adapting a program that would work best for my lifestyle, and that their one size fits all approach is not conducive to long term healthy living. I am on day 21 and feel great. I feel better about myself because I am not only addressing my extra weight, but I am now starting to understand my binge patterns. I love New England Fat Loss because it teaches me to eat real foods. No replacement bars, no substituting a fake sugar for a real sugar. I am discovering creative recipes and have a whole new appreciation for greens. Site asks for a call time, I received a call 3 days prior and when I asked for a ballpark price Andrew didn't want to give one...stated the usual, "we don't lead with price," "you need a consultation first," typical avoidance of the question. When I stated: "if you can't give me a ballpark price, don't bother calling me back," Andrew started screaming into the phone with a rather abusive tone. Guy is a dick and a horrible face to this or any other business. I work in sales and can't stand the BS that reps try to pull. Ask me for a price and you'll get it. This place is a complete scam, I was told I could do the program as long as I wanted and I did it March/April 2018 and I called back February 2019 and was just told it costs money again and that I should've never been told that. This works. It's a fairly harsh program that involves a combination of ultra low calorie diet (about 500-800 calories per day) and some supplements based on HCG, which is an appetite suppressant that also is supposed to accelerate your body's fat burning. Another supplement that you take each morning is a small amount of Vitamin B-12. The program is not cheap - about $2K but if you stick to it, you will lose weight. The first 3 days (referred to as detox as your body is eliminating all the sugars from your system) is a bit daunting, with headaches, cramps, etc. But then it gets much better. I lost 50 pounds in 7 weeks on the program. I don't think I could have just done the low cal diet without the supplements because I think I'd have gotten too hungry. My only complaint is the cost - which is pricey but the alternative of being fat is not good either. read more

It looks like another scam ,this time done to people who are trying to loose weight. Their method : 1000 calorie a day and low or non existence carbs (Vow what a discovery!) well at that rate any one can loose wait, you don't need to pay money for it just look at the pictures from concentration camps!. The rest of their session is typical sales pitch by a used a car salesman personality. If you don't mind spending $100.00 to loose 1 pound - by all means - go to New England Fat Loss - super expensive - I paid the $2500.00 and wanted to loose 60 lbs -after 40 days of starving - I lost 23 pounds - tried to loose more on my own with their diet - did not loose and additional weight - went back and asked for more supplements - not happening - and they make a point of telling you that you will never pay for the supplements again - of coarse not - they will not give you any more. Once they get your money - that's it - your on your own - they do not follow up - reach out - nothing. I feel like I wasted $2500.00 - should have tried a different program. read more

This program has been FANTASTIC. People asked if it was difficult to do. I say yes and no. Yes it was hard because in my head I always wanted to eat pasta. But the reality is I was never actually hungry and for me it was easy because it was clear what I needed to follow and not stray from. Almost three months in I have lost 50 pounds and have entered the maintenance phase. The counselors are very helpful and always available to help and answer questions. Did an experiment with this. My wife and I started the same eating plan that they gave us as you're basically dropping big money for their "magic drops". Her and I lost the exact amount of weight, drops not needed. Anyone can lose 25 pounds in 60 days by eating 500 calories a day. Support structure is awful as you'll only hear from them if you miss a payment. read more
