NE Firewood is AWSOME ! I had sent a ((late night) email from their site asking if they had any Kiln-Dried wood available as I know it's very late in the season. Brian called me the next morning and I was able to order a cord. I had scheduled a certain date for it to be droppEd. but the weather was not looking to great Brian was able to fit me in on a Sunday morning instead as the weather was going to be clear. I dont live on the easiest street as all trucks have to back up the hill he was able to dump it exactly where we needed it. (as it's not easy on my street) the wood was beautifully , clean, dry, well sized , and split nice and even brought a sample of kindling ! that was so nice. This was the best wood I have ever received will be with staying with them for good. Brian is a very nice, accommodating person. He is responds quickly. We've been getting wood from New England Firewood for a couple of years now. Our experience has been excellent - the wood is dry and ready to burn, and burns cleanly with no smoking. The wood is also clean - other providers we've used in the past have delivered wood that is muddy or otherwise so dirty we didn't really want to bring it in the house. It's also easy to stack, with no weird mis-shapen or odd-sized logs - that's helpful to use because we keep a supply of wood stacked on the porch for convenience. Brian is a pleasure to deal with - extremely responsive to phone calls or text (like, calls or texts returned in less than an hour!). Wood was delivered when and where promised, no mess or hassle. Plus, a bonus bag of kindling, which saves me the chore of splitting my own. Great product, great service. Very highly recommended. read more

Ordered firewood from these guys for the second time this year and have no complaints. The wood looks like it was cut even better this time around, excited to see if I get some better burns this year from it. Their service is great as I can pick a date that's suitable for me and they will try to accommodate it. They call if there's any delays, and another call once they're close by. Communication like this is often forgotten about. That will always keep me coming back as its hard for me to get time off work to stack a delivery. That is how you better handle customer service! Last, their prices are pretty good compared to others I've looked at. They also would call me back next day at latest if they missed my call, other companies I'd get a call back like a week later. This is my 1st Firewood delivery from New England Firewood. I had a wonderful experience working with Brian Hickey the owner. He was very responsive. My firewood delivery was supposed to happen right after a big snowstorm and he was quick to communicate the issues he had in being able to deliver (completely understandable due to the nature of the situation). The only complaint I had was the pricing on his website for the firewood delivery is lacking information. The delivery price is for 1/2 cord not a full cord, which is what I ordered. He is aware of the issue and is working to update the website. He gave me a quote which didn't match what I expected and explained the issue with the website. I was impressed by the level of information available on the website - including pricing - as well as the detailed information and photos. I called NE Firewood, and Brian picked up immediately. Reached out to New England Firewood for 1/2 cord of kiln dried through their website. Brian got back to me very promptly with pricing and I approved the order. He gave me an option of days and chose 10:30 on Saturday. Confirmed the delivery the day before via text, at 10:15 day off he informed me it would be closer to 10:45-11:00 and he arrived at 10:50. The process and communication was very easy and professional. Have never burned kiln dried and Brian took a few extra minutes to explain the difference. I had a delivery of a cord of kiln dried firewood yesterday and I am very pleased. The wood is high quality and split to perfect size for the fireplace. The logs are very consistent in size. The driver was very friendly and accommodating. He dropped the wood in the very back of my driveway bringing it only a couple of feet from where it will be stacked.
