After checking out my ears and taking a look at my hearing aid, alex was able to diagnose and fix the problem right away. He even had all the parts available to fix my hearing aid!! when you rely on hearing aids every day and don't have them it is super stressful. I cannot think alex enough for his commitment to his patients and helping them out on such short notice!! Although she primarily sees adults, Samina was EXCELLENT with our daughter and easily rivals any pediatrician or doctor at Childrens (our kids have seen many specialists there). Not only was the exam very thorough and professional but she clearly understood how to make a child feel comfortable and understand the exam process. We were hoping to find a local audiologist to avoid another trip/medical bills from Childrens and she was one of the best specialists we have seen in a long time. My father, who is 95, has severe hearing loss and has been seeing Paul Dole at Flynn Associates for many years for his hearing aids and evaluations. It had been some time since my father was in, both hearing aids were lost at a recent stay for care and it took time to gather funds for new ones. It was my first time bringing my father to his appointment and it was a pleasure to meet Paul. He's friendly and inviting and he offered for me to sit in on the appointment. I enjoyed watching him test and fit my father for the new hearing aids. The two were like old friends which I found touching. At the end of the appointment Paul asked my father if he could hear him and he said yes. Paul then said "welcome back" and my father said thanks and they both chuckled. That was one of those moments I won't forget. My father could hear again. Words I put here could never relay how significant that is for him, the family, medical people and those he meets in public. Paul recently was generous with his time when there was an issue with a part on one of the hearing aids and I was very grateful for his quick remedy of it. I highly recommend Flynn Associates for their expertise and for their caring and friendly service. My father and I look forward to seeing Paul in 2023!

Two years, many hearing aid adjustments, and one appointment where I had a full break down about their lack of empathy and assistance (no Dr. Darrow in sight).. they still treated me like I was unimportant. Thousands of dollars for hearing devices they seem to have no interest in making work for me. And then they *mixed up* the dates of the appointment made to cancel my hearing aid contract . Obviously, we can't review MRI results for an MRI that hasn't happened, so I contacted the office to reschedule. I left a message with the answering service, then left several voicemails (during office hours) explaining the need to reschedule and reason, over the course of a week. When I received no response to those I even emailed through the website. No response. So a little over 24 hours before the scheduled appointment I left another office hours voicemail explaining that since I haven't heard from anyone it would be best to just cancel. The next day I received an automated message that we missed our appointment. Is this a medical practice that literally has no one checking voicemail? I am the full-time caretaker for two profoundly disabled individuals. I deal with medical appointments, doctors offices, and specialists all the time. I also have two full-time jobs, and work seven days a week to provide for those individuals. The stack of b.s. I deal with daily is sky high. The last thing I need is one provider's office adding one more thing to that stack. Caretaking someone with advanced dementia means a need for results in a reasonable amount of time, especially since medication changes are frequent. I can't wait months to forever to not hear from a provider with important medical information. So I contacted insurance, found NE Neurological, who got us in next month. Just putting that out there for anyone also in need of a responsive specialist for a loved one.

She is the first who isn't pushing unnecessary medications and truly cares. I love our conversations, she's funny which a great distraction while she's putting needles in my head. I would and have recommended her to every migraine sufferer I meet, I even carry her cards in my car to hand out. She's my most favorite doctor of all time. Patient Feedback: I…read moresaw this ENT for a minor ear issue. While I don't expect every doctor to have perfect bedside manner, my experience during this visit left me uncomfortable. The doctor asked about my profession, but before I could answer, he interrupted and guessed that I was an administrative assistant. While I've held that role before and respect it deeply, the assumption -- and the way it was delivered -- came across as dismissive and unprofessional. He also explained post-care instructions in a tone that felt overly condescending, including how to avoid getting water in my ear as if I'd never taken a shower before. I came for medical care, not to be talked down to. Additionally, the office staff didn't inform me that the doctor was running 30 minutes behind. A simple heads-up would have gone a long way toward showing respect for patients' time. I recognize that other reviews speak highly of this physician, so perhaps I caught him on an off day. Still, the interaction felt unnecessarily patronizing and left a poor impression. I will not be back. It's also worth mentioning that the office requires a credit card to be kept on file "just in case of charges." In all my years of visiting various doctors, I've never encountered that policy before, and it felt out of step with standard practice.

For some reason they use both MGB Patient Gateway and AthenaHealth, and it appears that they don't have either one set up properly. As a result, they besiege patients with reminders, confirmations, and early check-ins. Seven calls in less than a week. Text after text. (After STOP after STOP.) Emails upon emails. I called to make an appointment. No sooner had I hung up than the phone rang with their number. Thinking they were calling back to let me know there was a problem or something, I rather foolishly answered. Nope. Automated reminder about the appointment I had literally just made. Productive! And their response? Breathtaking lack of empathy, self-awareness, and responsibility. It's not their fault. Nothing's their fault. Never. Why are you even talking to us about this? Can't you see we're not interested? Twice as frustrating as all the calls and messages combined. "The computer did that, not me." Um, actually, only half the calls were from the computer. The rest were from two of them sitting five feet apart who didn't coordinate. Can't blame the computer for that! "We don't control that." Really? Who do they think controls it? Because we're old enough to see a lot of doctors pretty often in this house, and they're the only ones with this problem. And, as has been elsewhere observed, they have a bizarre obsession with having a credit card on file so they can bill the patient for whatever, whenever. On my first visit, I pulled out my Apple Card (which does not have any visible card information) and they just about lost their minds. They nearly refused to keep the appointment because they couldn't make a copy of it in case they needed to charge me later. (Spoiler alert: they didn't.) They had to get Dr Kieff to make a special exception to their policy. And, as with the notification problem, this appears to be entirely because they don't know and don't care how the technology the practice depends on actually works. While I was in the waiting room, the person ahead of me checking out was complaining about the exact same thing. And they got the exact same dismissive response I eventually got, along with some very unnecessary sarcasm. When my turn came, the minute I told them I was frustrated by this, they sternly told me to leave. (Which I did, never to return.) I think they knew I was going to ask to speak to the Doctor about it since they clearly didn't care. They're also the ones that answer the phones and open the mail. My guess is that while they surely generate a lot of these types of complaints, they're also able to keep those complaints from ever making it to the doctor. So I suspect Dr. Kieff, who, again, seems like a pretty decent ENT, is not aware of much of this. Which is a shame.

Heidi was there for me in a time of great need. She understood my plight and was there to help me…read morein whatever way I needed. She made sure to explain everything in her process step by step so that I may understand her thinking and rationale. We move through our visit as a team, I was never in the dark and never at odds with her suggestions. Heidi takes the time to get to know you as a person than a patient. This grants her the ability to truly care for the person rather than treating a medical record number with a diagnosis attached. She works along side her support staff and displays a great relationship with her colleague Kim whom manages administrative duties at the clinic. Kim is compassionate and supportive, keeping you engaged and uplifting you when you're not directly engaged with Heidi. She seems to know people well and brings confidence and a reassuring air to the clinic. The pair are a great boon to the hearing and hard of hearing community. We are truly blessed to have them grace the industry with their talents and dedication.
