Guy showed up early which is okay but wouldn't explain the discrepancies between what the original representative told us about their services vs what he was telling us. He complained about driving two hours and asked is he wanted him to leave because I had additional questions and he didn't want to answer them. I said sure leave if you don't want our business. He was RUDE and disrespectful in our home. We will find a better fit for us. read more

When I first spoke to Debbie at the office I felt comfortable with the company right away.. she was professional, but also friendly....I set up an appointment, and was told they would call first...on they day of the appointment Mario called beforehand, and upon arrival showed me what the trunks and returns were... he also was professional, and explained the 10 vent deal, and the charges for additional vents and ducts. I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend this company... he even took before and after pictures so I could show my husband... he even offered to stop back in and install a furnace filter for me after I purchase a new one! read more

These guys are the best. They cleaned our ducts a year ago and they're still perfect. They were expert, professional, and courteous, and they went the extra mile by climbing up on the roof and unplugging the vent there. You couldn't do better. read more

They answered the phone when I called. The price was what they quoted. They called before they arrived at my house. The actual owner of the company was who cleaned the vents. He told me I was missing the cover of the vent and offered to come back with a cover. I wish every company was as great as them! read more

UPDATE: I need to check Yelp more often, because apparently the owner posted an incorrect version of what happened in an effort to save face. I didn't kick the technician out. The technician left right away because he tried to scam me and I called him out on it. Maybe I looked like an easy mark? As I mentioned in my initial review, I called around to other companies. Two later came to do in-person estimates. They both confirmed that my house's duct works were normal--and specifically, that I had only one main (not 4, as the NEQAS tech tried to claim). There was no reason they should have tried to charge me more than their initial deal. This incident really stayed with me, as a good lesson to shop around and ask questions when something feels off. NEQAS' scam would have worked had I not asked some reasonable questions and been willing to look elsewhere. Do yourself a favor, just start with another company. I went with Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning; they did an amazing job. I wish I could give as excellent a review as the other person who has reviewed this company, but unfortunately my experience was quite different. I did quite a bit of research, found this company and saw that they had a sale. I called, made an appointment, and everything seemed great. When the technician showed up, he told me it was going to cost MORE THAN FIVE TIMES the initial quote. He was annoyed when I asked him to explain why, rude, and was gone within two minutes, since I obviously could not afford this outrageous price. I called the main company back to try to get it sorted out, but while the woman on the phone was still polite, nothing was done. She claimed that their guys usually will try to work with you on prices--negotiate or set out payment plans. That is still suspect, given their policy of ratcheting up the price at the time you expect work to be done, but regardless, that didn't happen here. Their technician just left. I took a day off of work for this visit, which is not easy, and it adds to my frustration about their callous behavior. They claimed that the price differential was because of my house's duct work. But if that's the case, they should be up front that the advertised price won't satisfy most houses (because my house is quite small, so I can only imagine the price differential would be much worse for others). Also, if this information helps: I have since called several other highly rated companies, and gave them full information about the house--literally read off the paper that NEQAS left with me. They all came back with quotes that were significantly more reasonable. They all also led off by offering to do a free estimate first, which is not something that NEQAS ever offered me, or suggested that I needed--they really do make it seem like the advertised sale will be sufficient for most houses. The woman on the phone claimed that everyone else is happy with their company, and I hope this is just a serious aberration and that I caught their technician on a bad day. But I strongly urge you not to take this company at their word, unless you've got enough money that you don't need to worry about budgeting for work. read more
