I was very pleased with my interactions with Revive. I contacted them about a dishwasher issue and they were in touch the same day. I know this may not always be possible, but someone was able to see me that day. I ended up needing a follow up visit and they were prompt and very helpful in arranging that. The technician who came out was named Adam and he was very pleasant. He was efficient but also took time to answer my questions. I called Maytag to get a washer repaired, and they were going to use revive appliance to repair it. They scheduled me two weeks before Christmas for on the 24th Christmas Eve. Revive never called to say that they weren't taking the job, Maytag never reached out to let me know, and not answer the phone. Very poor way to do business speak to their workmanship, but customer service is very lacking at this company. read more

We contracted with Revive Appliance Repair (Auburn, MA) to repair our Whirlpool refrigerator. The ice maker was not producing ice and was no longer under manufacture warrantee. Revive technician arrived on site Oct. 5, 2022 and said they need to replace the ice maker and need to order the part. They came back Feb. 6, 2023 to install new ice maker. The next week, there was no ice and we called them to come back. He thought we needed a new ice maker but misdiagnosed the issue. It was not the ice maker, there were electrical cords on bottom of freezer door cut. We asked for a refund and they said they would provide a credit but not 100% refund. I called back 4 times with no call back. We paid $452.86 and they didn't fix the issue and charged us for the part and labor that they misdiagnosed. Ice maker still doesn't work. They also didn't follow through on their word to provide a credit. I contacted BBB (which I have never done in 49 years) and they could not resolve the issue either. It will show on BBB as :Answered - the business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer remains dissatisfied." This is because they responded to BBB, but they did nothing to rectify the issue. I would not recommend this company. I paid $452.86 and still no ice (they received payment for not fixing the issue). read more

Warranty coverage for broken microwave. My initial, one star review was based on lack of communication after an assessment of the microwave followed by explanation that parts would be ordered and repairs made. After 2 weeks without word and no return calls to my store's, the warenty companaie's and my inquiries, I wrote the one star review. The next day I heard from revive. They explained that the parts had arrive broken and they can't call all their waiting customers with updates. They came out today with the parts and fixed the appliance. read more

A broken self cleaning lock mechanism wouldn't allow me to close the oven door after cleaning. My range is nine years old and looks great so I wasn't ready for a new one. I called Revive and Adam came out promptly the next day. He removed the part that needed replacing so that the oven door could close. This was most important to me as I bake a lot. He had to order a part which he said would be in the next week. The part arrived as promised and I got a call to schedule the installation for the next day. Yes, the price of parts is never cheap but it's a lot cheaper than a new range. Revive is professional service as it should be: prompt, courteous and fair. Adam (owner) is very courteous, friendly and professional. He knew exactly what was wrong with my washing machine right away and ordered the part. He came back in a reasonable amount of time when the part came in to fix it quickly. When I notified him that the machine was still leaking a bit, he came back, troubleshooted the problem and fixed it within 30 minutes--for no extra charge.
