The crew arrived a bit earlier than expected, set up, and worked quickly and professionally. They clarified before they began exactly what needed to be done and what the expectations were, as well as confirming where we wanted the wood piled and what dimensions we needed. Once started, though the noise drove my dogs insane, it was smooth sailing. The work was exactly what I'd asked for, and other than the very neatly stacked logs cut to size and placed exactly where I had wanted them, there was no sign of New England Tree Masters having visited. The communication with this company is by far the worst I've ever dealt with! Someone came out and gave us a quote. We set up a date for them to come out and do the work, but they didn't provide a time frame. I called the day of to see when they would be arriving and was told they would be at my house within the hour. Four hours later nobody had shown up. I called the next day and was provided with tons of excuses, including "oh, you know how men are; they don't think of things like calling if they can't make it!" All in all, I had to go back and forth on the phone several times before I got an answer on someone coming out. Furthermore, they had no interest in providing any type of compensation for wasting my time the day before; I ultimately got 10% off after fighting for it and threatening to use another company. The only reason this rating has 2 stars is because of the gentleman who came out was kind and efficient. read more

New England tree masters is the worst company. I was driving on my way to work and they had the whole street blocked. There guys were just standing around and talking while I was trying to get their attention. I kept honking and I even looked up the phone number of the manager and called her and she didn't pickup. I left a voicemail and she called the following day which was too late. I told her I was very frustrated with her and I asked to speak with the owner. She said the owner would give me a call and I never received a call from the owner. They have some of the worst customer service that I've ever seen. read more

I had some storm damage that needed to be cleared as well as some tree pruning. The workers showed up on time and worked efficiently. I was very pleased with their work, especially the pruning job. The foreman of the crew really knew about pruning and did a great job. There were three trees that were complicated to prune but when he was done the trees and bushes looked much better. One day, they had emergencies which I understand but the people in the office did not call us just to say that they could not come. Had a very good experience with New England Tree Master removing 16 massive pine trees one of which was right up against electrical lines and 3 were a long way from easy access. We contacted several local companies and they all never returned our calls. We called New England Tree Masters and they returned our call promptly, the same day someone came out, was very professional, gave us a fair price and we gave them the OK. I have had many trees removed from my property over the years from more than one tree removal service. New England Tree Masters are by far the most professional and genuine crew I have come across. So many tree removal services don't return phone calls... you have to constantly chase them. I called for an estimate and the owner called me back the same day and within 48 hours we were scheduled. I had 5 very large oak trees removed near my inground pool and inbetween my neighbor's house. They have top notch equipment and were thorough.
