Follow‑up appointment: A few weeks later, the medical provider again confirmed that weekly visits were not required and that I could begin the diet when comfortable. The guidance was consistent, and I left with my next prescription. Where things changed: When I later called to schedule my next appointment, I was transferred to the operations manager. The tone was unexpectedly aggressive, and I was interrupted repeatedly while trying to explain what the medical providers had told me. I was informed that I was not following the program, that frequent visits were required, and that I could not continue receiving prescriptions unless I agreed to come in more frequently. I was also told the medical providers had been "spoken to," which directly contradicted the guidance I had received at both appointments. I was not allowed to schedule my next visit until I agreed to the new requirements. More inconsistency: At the following appointment, the medical provider acknowledged the conversation but told me that coming in "whenever I could" was fine. This conflicted with what the operations manager had insisted on. Weekly visits cost $140 each, and this requirement had never been communicated by the medical providers. Why I left: The shift from supportive medical guidance to business‑driven pressure felt like a bait‑and‑switch. The expectations changed only after I began seeing results, and the new requirements were tied to receiving prescriptions. What I'm doing now: I switched to an online provider, where the process has been simple, respectful, and free of unexpected conditions. Maybe their program works but this location in Billerica needs work on running efficiently and one more side note to add, finish the cosmetic renovations of the building so that it looks professional and clean. Afterall, you are performing medical procedures such as blood draws. It should look and be a sterile clean atmosphere!!!!
