Got a massage from Tania. There are no words to describe how incredible it was. I was in a car accident last year with a broken bone, after surgery, I finally got better. Three months later I slipped four discs in my back- ouch!!! Finally when my doctor said I could go get a massage I went to Tania! She is so pleasant! I came here for a manicure and pedicure. The place is very relaxing, and I didn't feel rushed at all. I really enjoyed talking to the woman who did my nails, and she spent a lot more time with me than most manicurists would. This is not like one of those cheap nail places (a good or bad thing, depending on what you want). The atmosphere is nicer, the people are friendlier, and they spend more time with you. I plan to go back for a massage soon. The only downside is that my pedicure didn't last as long as I'm used to, but I think it's because they use non-toxic nail polish. Maybe it doesn't hold up as long as the regular stuff. I'm sure it's better for you, though. read more

I came in here originally because I had a Groupon. I will be going back, however, because of the great service I received. My massage was awesome and the owner of the spa was really great to talk to as well. I'm sort of a day spa novice but he answered all of my questions with a smile. I rebooked while still at the spa- something I've never done before, so that ought to give you some indication as to my level of satisfaction. Nutrapy is the perfect place to get a professional massage that will relieve your stress and tension, they have rid me of mine! The relaxation area is beautiful and calming to have a seat and a cup of tea before and/or after your session. The room is comfortable and cozy, not to mention good lighting which is important during a relaxing massage. Absolutely incredible place! From start to finish my experience here was exceptional. Started with Jimmy's herbal tea... Delicious. Then a chat with Drew about stress and balance and a miraculous healing massage. What a little gem in Hanover! My husband and I just moved here from NYC and were in search of a local massage spot with reasonable prices, and Nutrapy popped up. I had been here a few years ago (actually three years ago!) for a mani/pedi and facial on a Travelzoo special. I loved it then and too bad it took me so long to get back. I had a skin firming facial with Tania. She had done my other facial and I remembered it being so blissful. The background ocean cd was so soothing, I felt like I was at the beach (after this winter one can only wish!!). The products were refreshing and Tania works a shoulder massage in there too. I think I entered another world with the hot towel on my face for about 15 minutes. How lucky did I get when her next massage appointment canceled?? I turned it down initially when offered to me, but when she offered me 50% off I could not say no. And thank goodness, because dang I needed that massage! She incorporates breathing, and stretching, such a release. I have never had my glutes massaged before! I thought it would be odd, but I guess my bum needed some care too seeing as I spend the majority of my day on it, LOL. This was not your ordinary massage. I sat in the meditation room afterward with some lovely hot herbal tea. It was hard to leave. I wish they still had nail services as a mani-pedi would have been the icing on the cake. The front desk person and I think Jimmy who is the owner were very welcoming and pleasant. II do feel badly that it took me so long to get back there. I came in here with a Groupon, twice...once for a massage and the second time for a pedicure. Jimmy is the owner and is very professional in the way he dresses and how he treats his clients. The massage was exceptional. I came in with sciatica pain and Jimmy gave me somewhat of a therapeutic massage. I came out feeling so relaxed and the pain was relieved. The background music and meditation room is an added bonus with the offer of hot tea or water to complete or extend your "zen" feeling. I had never done acupuncture in my life but a friend recommended it at the end of my pregnancy as a way to help induce labor as I wanted to avoid a second c section. I was able to get in for three appointments with Jimmy. Jimmy was extremely helpful and thorough, explaining the process to me and recognizing my desire to get labor started. I left the treatments thinking even if I didn't go into labor early, I noticed differences in the swelling I had experience in my feet and overall thoroughly enjoyed the appointments as a way to relax. Four days after my last appointment, my water broke and my son arrived three days ahead of schedule with no c section! Fabulous! I bought Groupons for Nutrapy so I could treat my visiting sister to a local mani-pedi-facial, and I thought we were just getting a bargain. Silly me! I love this place, they were so nice and the owner was very knowlegable and helpful. I went as a spa day with my two girlfirends and we got a deal on travelzoo so I was a little skeptical. I found Nutrapy online while looking for a place that does kids' manicures with non-toxic nail polish. I took my niece and step-daughter there for a girls day. There are so many good things to say about this place! We were running late because of an accident on the highway, and they were very kind and accommodating. When we walked in the door we were greeted by Jimmy and Dale. They are such friendly guys! Jimmy did all of our nails and was amazing with the kids. They were a bit antsy but he was so patient and kind, he really made their day special! While we were getting our nails done we were treated with a delicious tea party, which we all loved. The girls got to feed the fish in the entryway, and check out one of the meditation rooms. I liked that Dale and Jimmy chatted with us about their areas of expertise. The kids' manicures are adorable and mine came out great! The paraffin treatment is awesome and left my hands incredibly soft. The facility itself is clean, beautiful, welcoming and comfortable. Sometimes wrangling two 6 year old girls can get hectic, but the setting was so relaxing! One of my favorite parts of our visit was during checkout, Jimmy shared some of his culture with the girls and explained the Lunar New Year to them and gave them an envelope for good luck from the tree. They were so excited when they saw what was inside, but I loved it because it's important to me that my step-daughter learns about many types of cultures. I've been to many places in the past that offer similar services, but none of them even come close to the experience I had at Nutrapy.
