Not only have I kept the property in great condition and took care of any of their hoa requests of dumb shit like replacing plants and bushes in the front which should not be my responsibility because I'm only renting. They expect you to take care of Everything as if you are the owner. They nickel and dime you to death. They tack on fees that aren't even legitimate. just now New So iam being charged for violations that the hoa is saying that they never accused me of. After a little (very little digging) we arrived at the notion this company is nickle and diming us by charging for not violations but correspondence. So if your hoa say "hey can you cut those weeds in the front"? This is not a violation but a courtesy right?! Well new era realty puts it in the lease that a violation is grounds to be charged. Which is fair but,thing is we have never violated. we have over a thousand dollars in fees and absolutely no violations. I called to speak about the matter Jessica answered the phone she was not in a friendly mood and here iam just wondering why iam being charged for a violation we never received. Jessica wanted to talk over me and became very angry after I agreed we should be charged like the lease states when we have received a violation but we haven't. In the end I simply asked to be provided documentation that we have violated any hoa rules and not just simple correspondence and we will handle it. Jessica hung up on me immediately. I still have no documentation from either hoa company (who never violated us) or my realty company who isn't hoa but said that we have violated . We were with new era for 3+ years for our rental home and sad that we had to leave because our lease ended. No problems throughout our time at the property. Charges you for getting a hoa violation notice, even after corrected by time asked, still charges $45 for basically straight profit when there is no charge to them or owner of property. Just not cool from a consumer stand point. Seems very unnecessary to make profit on such a thing. Also demanded to schedule annual inspection within 5 days or threatened a 24 hour notice to enter property when I was trying to schedule a little later in the month. Scheduled a 10:30am appointment, I called them after they were 20mins late, they stated she was pulling in, 15mins later I called and let them know I had to go to work and being 45mins late is unprofessional, then told me Monday at 10:30am, I said ok, then they sent a text saying I would be charged $85 if they don't get it done today when THEY were 45mins late. Very unprofessional and hard to work with. read more

I was trying to keep on them to fight for my discrepancies to get my deposit back since those were problems before I moved in during the walk throug. They kept telling me that we would get this resolved I jumped through all their hoops and still got nowhere. One of the last days I talked to them they placed me on hold for 30 min and then hung up on me, they put my number under (do not answer) because any time I would call they would never answer. They said the last day I called, They never gave me a greeting they just said hello and my name. Edit: very appalled by the lack of care, sympathy, and help from the company. It was not until I left a negative review and followup work orders that the company begins to contact me regarding the work order. Instead of receiving an update on the work order and receiving answers to my questions, all I get are accusatory remarks, no solutions, and in my view, implications of litigation for sharing my experience in a review. I only received an answer from management and an update on the work order in the same email they discuss litigation over a review. Still no proof of a safe garage door and not even an apology for what happened even after asking for an update multiple times. This property management company is nothing short of a nightmare to work with. They write tenant contracts that saddle the tenant with all repairs under 200 regardless of circumstance, property age, and/or condition. They basically buy a home warranty and anything not covered by it is your problem. They also make you the middle man when any repairs are needed - instead of servicing the renter they have you do their job. If any repairs are not done or done correctly it becomes the tenant job to deal with it. 14 months into rental on a high end property 4 items that were broken from day one still remain broken. I have rented several houses from new era realty my last experience was the best. When we first moved in there were things that needed fixing but they had someone fix them promptly. There seem to of been a scorpion problem in the last place that I was at but that was on blue diamond. They did have pest control but nothing controls scorpions. I cleaned as well as I could and I got my full deposit back. read more

Their cost of repairs and management fees are competitive, even better than my previous management company. I ended up transferring everything to New Era. I've rented from New Era Reality since 2015. Although I've never met Rain, I've had the pleasure of working closely with the staff in the office. They have always been professional, pleasant and helpful. They will follow up on your request and see the process through until the end. They treat you like a person and not just another client, during my horrible divorce I ran into some financial issues and they were always accommodating and understanding if I was a few days late paying my rent. New Era Realty should not be in business . they truly are the epitome of the word slum lords - I gave notice moved and spent $600 of my own money to have the place meet all the standards. my handyman did the move-out inspection and it was great. They owed me $2,000. deposit and wrote a letter to me saying they were going to keep it because the carpet in the home was stained. They had NO intention of giving me back my deposit from the very beginning. When I moved in the home was dirty, had 2 big leaks that drenched my computer room. My husband called New Era Reality this morning to make an appointment to see a rental property in Rhodes Ranch. He spoke with Bridgette and asked if landlord of property is willing to do a 2+ year lease? She responded saying she'd have to check and she'd call him back. Bridgette called back and told my husband that the landlord is willing to do a 2+ yr lease. So my husband said that we'd like to see property. Bridgette asked if he was aware of the landscape & pool fee services, my husband said no what are they in addition to the rent? Bridgette said I'll have to call you back with that information. OK.....so we waited & finally got a call back with the info on the fees and my husband said the fees are fine are we ready to make the appointment? She said that she'll get back to him with a time. Needless to say she never did get that appointment for us! Even when she said she'd definitely call by end of day! My husband called Bridgette at 5pm and asked if they even want to rent this property out and she responded by saying that it's been a very busy day because it's the 5th of the month and we have to call tenants that are late in rent, and well, you can call Henry, I think he'll be available to show you tomorrow. My husband was so mad that he told Bridgette that if New Era Reality wants to rent this home out to have Henry call him. We are not holding our breath for that call!! I am glad to have a glimpse into this incompetent company, I do not want to follow up constantly for simple answers to questions. Or to just get an appointment made! I get it though there's no money in rentals for these agents so they just don't care. I wonder if the owner of this house knows how they just blew off a really good long term tenant? This experience was exhausting! I had higher hopes. My family and I leased a house through New Era Realty and the process from day 1 with Rain was excellent. She is prompt, courteous, efficient and very professional. New Era Realty is also on top of things when issues arise concerning the property. Any repairs such as plumbing or electrical jobs were addressed or fixed usually within 48 hours if not, the same day. When the clothes dryer broke, it was replaced with a new one within 72 hours. In the past 6.5 years that we've leased from New Era Realty, our rent did not increase at all. The owner of the house consulted with Rain on the matter several occassions but Rain would always tell the owner there's no reason to increase the rent on good tenants and to encourage the tenants on staying in the property as long as possible. My boyfriend called yesterday morning to look at a property the same evening. They told us someone would meet us at the property at 6 p.m., our designated time. We arrived 10 minutes early, waited 30 minutes and NO ONE SHOWED! We called the office but since it was after 6 p.m. so no one answered. We had to text someone and when they finally responded, they said they didn't have our appointment down and no one had any knowledge of it. Horrible reality company! I called set up an appointment to see a property and was told i would get a call back for a time confirmation. I never received a call back so decided to call back and confirm myself. Once I had a set time they moved my time up and was told that was the only time available. I drove an hour across town to the area where security would then not let us in which then called the agent who had left within a few minutes passed the appointment time. The property we were asking them to manage was a small one, so I guess they figured they wouldn't profit much off us. And therefore, we meant SQUAT. This company has no communication when it comes to making repairs. I spoke with Flora twice to shut the water off to replace the water heater and when she never got it shut off Bridget stepped in. She also had no clue as to how to schedule a maintenance shut off for the unit. Our technician went out to service and the water was still not shut off. Birdsnest cactus Court: In April of 2017, I placed a called to New Era Reality there was one house they kept in touch with us for, seen it one night for seven at night. We said we will take it over the weekend we sent them a picture saying we had the money everything was agreed upon. I went to New Era Reality at 6175 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89146 that Monday with the amount that was requested and was told the house was taken. Hum, didn't understand that when we were the only ones looking at the house until a lady out the blue came that night when we were leaving. So, we were informed there was another house available we said okay. Seen that one wasn't up to standards wasn't ready. But called us several times so they knew I had a family member passing away still wasn't told the house wasn't ready. So my sister passed soon I touch down in another state. I get a call from new era reality. They were informed I apologized but I'm in another state for my sister funeral she's telling me about house no compassion at all. So I return that and that Monday came to see a house that was close down for about three to six months. Spider webs, mildew, and caulk around our sink. The air in one my son's room still not fix and the young lady unable to recall her name at this time who showed me the house she was on her phone the whole time. I'm walking the house like what am I'm doing! The young lady gave me mailbox keys not once told me where the box was I went outside for her she disappeared as if she was a ghost. I walked up front and ask the security guard at that time where I check my mail called the office and they didn't know my mailbox number I was told ask the mailman. I didn't want to complain but I asked Brigette was I on bloopers have they put me in this house as a joke. Then I said no, now I understand it's because the house has been closed for three to six months and the people next door are rude. There blocking our vehicles in there giving parties, parking in the red zone there not coming out to move their cars, my son moves his car and still took him twenty minutes to get out. CHILDREN let's not talk about that, outside unsupervised pulling in have bikes blocking driveway blew my car horn parents still don't come outside. It's getting ridiculous!! Cars pull up loud music, I pay rent just as well as others when you tired you just want to get home from work and relax. I hate confrontation, so I beg the men in my house please don't talk to these people let's just report it. I'm sorry it's been a year I'm unable to tolerate this any longer. They knew when we would be moving into the rental home and took all our money up front and then tried to get us to sign for a filthy house! We had to put off our move for 2 days while they pulled their heads out of their butts and had the home cleaned and the yard done as well as the carpets cleaned. Then when we moved out they charged us over $300 for what they labeled a "Whole house patch,paint touch up and baseboard Cleaning". . Due to our situation we were unable to do a final walk through and therefore this horrible property management company was able to charge us these ridiculous extra fee's and charges. I recommend if you find a home to rent with New Era Realty you run very fast in the opposite direction!!! Let me start by saying these people are unprofessional low life slum lords!! Upon them taking over and replacing the last management company. I immediately start calling to inform them of all ongoing problems, and verbally told them that if it was not fixed that I was going to move out! One being an unsanitary pigeon infestation at my front door of my home. After about a month of several calls and complaints with no action. They tell me to email them the complaint. They sent out people to give estimates and never hired anyone to fix the problem. I moved out 60 days after my first phone call request with nothing being fixed! Even 30 days after I moved out. They still left it unattended. On top of that I go to turn in my keys and the ignorant no customer service skills girl in the front ask me am I moving out. I said yes. She says you can't turn your keys in without a walk thru. So I said ok lets go. She replies with "LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS". Im here alone and the walk thru must be scheduled. I say ok so when is it possible.she says Monday and I say ok. NEVER ever once did she say I cant turn my keys in without a 30 day notice. Because if she had've I would have told her that the southern Nevada health district states a tenant has the right to move out due to unsanitary and uninhabitable living conditions!! I know my rights. Then when she shows up on Monday she does her walk thru. She Only asks 2 questions!! Wheres the washer and dryer and are the lights on. I answer both questions.She tells me everything looks good and my home only needs minor paint touch ups and cleaning. After I approve sign and intial. These scam artist write a seperate report for things and damages that I did not sign for!! Not only claiming taking my security deposit but attempting to charge me 1,040 in damages including doors that were not listed. WTH. I have an extensive good rental history and have always been given my deposit back even from my last rental from Encore realty. Which managed my last unit which was in the same exact complex. These people have no buisness being able to have a company in Vegas. Look at all there other horrible yelp reports. These people are disgusting criminals and thats an understatement. They have 2 negative reports with the better buisness bureau and several bad yelp reviews. I have contacted the Irs and looking to have them Audited. The southern Nevada health district and also local news stations to do a report on this company. I now have to wrap this company up in litigation over my deposit back.
