Update. SFR lost this house to auction and I was relocated by the bank to have my grandchildren and I removed within 2 weeks. I had paid timely but they used my money to invest in other properties and lost it to foreclosure. Not a good situation for myself and Granchildren. Beware. I trusted them. read more

Well where do I start? SFR has been the best company i have ever rented from. I am on my 3rd home with them because me and my wife moved back to Henderson for a short while. When our lease was up Blair along with Bruce helped find our new home in North Las Vegas and we absolutely love it and the neighborhood. If you have a problem you simply fill out the info online and I swear without fail someone from a repair company if it's an appliance or their guys if it's anything else. Blair will take care of your lease and if you ever have an issue with something Bruce or one of his guys will contact you after you fill out the online info. When these folks tell you they are going to do something you can believe they will 100%. read more

I've been renting for over 10 years and never had any problems. Repairs are usually done within 24 hours. They have one absolutely useless maintenance man but I just tell them not to send Bill. The others in the company are great. read more

Apparently this property management company doesn't know their laws- they refused to give a credit report when asked for where it was pulled after denial. Even sent them the FCRA and still refused. Hopefully someone goes after them. read more

I simply cannot believe all of these negative reviews. My personal experience with the staff at SFR has been phenomenal, from the receptionist to the maintenance manager. Each and every employee and sub contractor at SFR has been very professional. It's a basic treat folks how you want to be treated kinda thing. Leasing agents, Jennifer and Sonya, are VERY accommodating. I am shocked at anyone who says otherwise. I have rented from SFR for close to 4 years and seldom have we needed any repairs/maintenance done, but when we did, it was handled, quick, fast and in a hurry. I have a family of five and a Great Dane. BTW, try and find another property management company that will rent to you when you own a Great Dane. My Family and I have been elated with our house in Henderson. Even though appliances were included, we bought our own washer/dryer and refrigerator. Who wants to use someone else's appliances? Waste disposal and lawn care costs are the tenants responsibility, just like any homeowner. Remember you are renting a home, not an apartment. Pay your bills and you won't get fined. Pay your rent on time, it's really that simple. We were paying $600.00 less per month than a fella who was renting a smaller home (from another property management company), just two houses away from us. The money we saved renting a very nice, cost effective and well maintained house from SFR enabled us to save money for the down payment on our own home. Bottom line is this, my experience has greatly differed from others who have left negative reviews regarding SFR. Don't let the b.s. reviews deter you from renting from this truly professional company. SFR has been our stepping stone to home ownership. read more

This people lie the their tenant at 9233 Nerone almost killed my dog Maria at SFR said "don't worry honey the same thing happened to me and my husband and the home owners insurance will cover the medical bills " . Then I never heard from her again I spoke to another lady there that said it was being processed now Maria said is not her responsibility !!! The owner of the dog continues to do whatever he wants !!!!! Maria said she doesn't care !!! So this place is a joke !!! SFR gets 5 stars from me. I've been renting a home from them 5 years now and I'm on my way to sign my 6th year lease now! When there is an issue they are there and handle it right away. I don't have many maintenance issues, but if I do the maintenance man, Bill is right there to take care of it right away. He is so awesome and always so friendly whenever he comes out. My husband and I rented a beautiful home from SFR by way of working with Blair. Blair was super helpful right from the start. He worked with us and gave us a chance despite less than pristine credit. Every single person I met at the office I visited to sign papers was friendly and welcoming. Especially the woman at the front desk, forgive me I can't remember her name at the moment, but she made me feel really welcome and right at home. Any questions I had were responded to very quickly and efficiently. The house was in a great shape when I moved in as well. We are parents who work hard to provide for our kids and being able to rent a safe, beautiful house with the income we make is the best reward seriously. Blair and SFR made that possible. I inquired on a home through Trulia. Jessica was quick to reply even on the holiday weekend. We completed the application and submitted it quickly. We were told by Jessica Wegner that they only ran one application at a time, leading us to believe we were the first ones. Only to find out that she went with another client for the home. After the price for the rental was increased on Zillow and Trulia. Poor business practice. read more

They charge you ridiculous fines, something you never know when they came from, if you need something on the house. Do it as yourself with a handyman or any other contractor, do never never trust this people. SFR Investments have been very great to both my husband and I with our property that we rent with them. They provided us a great condo at an ASAP status with new carpet. Over the 4 years of living in this condo they have been there for us no matter what we need. We are very fortunate to have had minor repairs needed over the years but it has been very easy to work with the management and the super awesome maintenance guy Bill. SFR has a very friendly staff in the office every time that we have had any questions.They even provided tenants with online payment which was a HUGE plus. We look forward to continue living in this condo mananged by SFR and I refer them family and friends. No complaints here and it is true blessing from what I have read about other places around Vegas. I have leased a condo at Turnberry Place for the last three years. I have found the staff very accommodating and I adore their maintenance man, Bill. Every repair request has been tended to promptly and to my complete satisfaction. Like the previous reviewer, my experience has been nothing short of phenomenal. I went in today, to pay my ridiculous fine. When I received the fine in the mail, it stated I had 30 days to pay it. Tomorrow would have been the 30th day. Anyways, I go into the office to find four people just standing around a desk chatting. As soon as they saw me walk in, they dispersed. I handed my check over to a lady sitting at the front desk and she rudely asked me, "who are you?" I let her know who I was and for what property I was paying the fine. She pulls up my account and lets me know that I have a balance of $685. Mind you, I was told my fine was only for $500. When I asked what the additional $185 was for she simply shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know." I asked her if she knew if it was because of some other fee that we weren't notified of, and she shrugged her shoulders and repeated that she didn't know. No one in this office could tell me anything and told me that the one single person who knows anything about anything in that office left at 2pm. I imagine she leaves at 2 p.m., so she doesn't have to deal with complaints from people who work normal nine-to-five shifts. Again, this company has done nothing but let me down. When paying my fine, I made sure to print a definition of what customer service was and let the lady at the front counter know that they could definitely learn from the simple definition , because their Yelp reviews and their Better Business Bureau grade show that they have no idea how to communicate with human beings. they are thieves. they rented me a property that was forclosed. had an outstanding water bill of 900 dollars which i had to pay and was not my bill agreed to deduct from my rent if i paid it which i did prior to moving in and then they go after me for not paying my rent in full. they are dishonest purchasing homes for next to nothing that should never had been sold and the courts are going after them for fraud. read more

I owned my home since new in 2001. I filed for a chp 7 in 2012 and SFR purchased my home for $20,000 due to monies still owed to the HOA. SFR and the HOA violated the stay that was in place. SFR is a bunch of crooks. They have inside knowledge about HOA foreclosures. I lost my case in court. So they got a 400k home for 20k. The company should be shut down and criminal charges brought against them. read more
