VIP level of service! I, like others, made the mistake of dropping my iPhone without a case protector. The back glass shattered into several pieces, so it had to be replaced. Apple quoted over $350 and required me to go to a local store, schedule an appointment, and wait for the repair. I could not interface with anyone at Apple, but had to click through multiple links. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Meanwhile, I called New Era, and they messaged me back immediately, saying they would look into my request.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offered me a time that worked for MY schedule (within their working hours) and quoted $100 less than Apple.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]In addition, they offer pickup and drop-off![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner messaged me himself and came to pick up my phone so I could keep my work-from-home meeting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Within an hour, I was at the store picking up my phone. I had the misfortune of requiring a major screen repair on my phone after a fight broke out at a event I was at. My phone was knocked off a table and landed straight on marble screen side down. There was total darkness on the screen as well as in my life. While I am not glued to my phone on social media, like most people, I do it a lot for making reservations, Yelp check-ins, emails and text messages to a few people. I do have a second phone, so all was completely loss, but this was my primary phone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As it was a Friday night, I reached out to a few places on Yelp and New Era was the only place that responded right away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Doctor and I were scheduled to leave town the following week and I was trying to get the phone repair ASAP to take with me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Juan was very responsive and took care of me right away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The repair looked amazing with the screen working as intended. Unfortunately the damage was not just with the screen, but far more extensive than initally thought. Not sure what happened during that fall, but the phone would not stay connected to network, even though my second phone as well as The Doctor/Queen's were fine. I ended up needing another phone, which was needed as I wanted something smaller for going into my smaller Louis Vuittons. But the work that Juan did was amazing and fast, and the price was just right. I am going to take in my HP for a rehaul, just haven't had the time to do so yet. But I will be taking it as well as some other ones in for additional memory, etc. to improve the performance. read more

This is as bad as it gets. Got my phone repaired and the battery replaced. The phone started shaking and the battery stopped charging within 2 weeks. I tried to reach out to him for a few days, didn't hear anything. No response, no room to leave a voicemail. Took the phone into the shop finally and he said it's another issue. At this point, i wanted my phone back but he said no. He told me to call 911 and sign a paper and would not return my phone. Police came up and had to have him basically give me my phone back. This is by far the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had so please consider before going in to shop. The Guy disappeared after fixing the phone and had to deal with calling the cops. He also said he will get lawyers if I leave a bad review after all of this.. read more

Juan is definitely the go-to guy for smartphone, pad, and computer repairs. He took two older generation iPads that no longer charged because of worn-out Lightning ports, replaced the ports and batteries, and charged less than half of what a new iPad would cost. I needed the back of my iPhone replaced and had gone to other places but the prices were insane. Juan took care off it with a reasonable price and was in and out within 45 minutes. I called in advance and asked about replacing an iPhone X screen and the gentleman I spoke with was knowledgeable, kind and even drove to their warehouse JUST to pick up what I needed (which was out of stock.) I made an appointment with Juan at 11 am, when I arrived the store was closed. I waited outside for almost 30 minutes and he never showed up. The next door shoe repair shop, was kind enough to let me borrow their phone to call Juan to ask how much longer I had to wait for him, but Juan never answered his phone. I drove for about 40 minutes, I wasted my time and gas for nothing. He reached out to me to apologize and to explain why he didnt show up and offered to repair my phone at no cost. We booked another appointment but then all of a sudden his soldering equipment broke on him and told me it would take weeks to get a new one. As a result he didn't repair my phone. This is unprofessional and I would not trust someone with a business with this kind of unprofessionalism. read more

I broke the screen on my iphone basically as soon as I got it... three years ago. Part of why I never got around to getting it fixed was because it always seemed like such an inconvenience to go out of the way to drop my phone off somewhere and then pick it up later. When I found out this place was right in my neighborhood, I requested a quote to get my screen replaced. I heard back from the owner that same day, so a few days later I decided to stop in. I dropped my phone off, received a claim ticket, and left to pick up some groceries. When I got back, they were finishing up my repairs. My iPhone XR broke last Friday. This was the second time in 6 months. I went to the one by Devon the first time my phone screen broke. I had issues with the screen afterwards. Like sometimes I have to turn the phone off so the touch screen will work again. Unfortunately I broke my screen again. So I decide to look for another place. I tried calling places.
