I found this place after reading yelp reviews. I got the 30 minute reflexology and 60 minute body massage combo for $80. Overall the price was a very good deal. I requested a male therapist. Personally for me for the body massage he was a little too strong. He used a lot of elbows and each time he did that I had asked him to go softer as it hurt me too much. Someone who likes extremely deep pressure would be happy. When he used his actual hands everything was perfect. There was also a lot of rubbing over the sheet which I'm not used to. I didn't realize until I was done that all body massages are done face down with Covid going on. I understand safety precautions but if I would've known this ahead of time I definitely would not have not gotten the 60 minutes as it is too long to be face down with a mask on. The reflexology was so relaxing. I did a half hour the pressure was perfect. I almost fell asleep at that point. They also had a plastic barrier between you and the therapist. Would come back for the reflexology. Update: i originally gave 4 stars. I had to change it. my back is so sore i couldn't even sleep on it. I feel like I am bruised all under my skin. Unfortunately the pain I'm in overshadows the good things about this place. I go for massages a lot, never been this sore after one. Please don't dig your elbows into people in the future. especially when they asked you to lighten up the pressure several times. read more

I was never asked any questions, or offered a form to fill out to either sign or to indicate what areas of concern might have brought me in to their business. Reflexology was never explained. I was just brought into a room and a quite frankly too strong foot and leg massage was done. I am updating my rating to 5 stars! The only reason I gave a 4 star in the past was due to the use of containers instead of pumps for the lotion. BUT NOW (perhaps because of increased sanitary measures) they have pumps! It smelled very clean inside and everything was well maintained. We were visiting from Los Angeles. With all the travel feel tired .We were so glad that we find this place. The atmosphere is very asian , peaceful and clean. When I walked in, I instantly felt more relaxed. My foot massage therapist was Mimi, oh boy,, she has a powerful hands, I need a really firm massage and she made it happen, feel great. For my back I like deep pressure massage , His name was William, His English is not too good but his work was so professional, all the right pressure and on the right pressure points, wow relaxing.. feel so light. Amazing massage. I called for a last minute appointment and they were able to fit me in. I started out with a 60 minute foot reflexology and it was the best I've ever had. I've very picky with how I like my massages but they hit all the right spots that I extended it to a 90 minute foot reflexology. Afterwards, I was so relaxed that I decided to do a 20 minute chair massage and it was heaven. I had Jakey for both my foot and chair massage and he was hands down the best. I will 100% be coming back again. My search for a wonderful reflexology place is finally over. When I also asked for more pressure jakey applied it without hesitation. Recommended for their incredible foot massages, but I have had problems with the full body massages both times I have tried them. Last time, the masseur was using way too much pressure, and when I told him, he made zero adjustment. I told him two more times and realized it was a language barrier even with simple words. As a former massage therapist myself, I knew he wasn't actually hurting me so I completed the massage because I needed one, but it made for an uncomfortable experience I will not repeat. read more

First massage in Jersey after moving here from California where we had tons of Chinese foot and full body massage places. This place is really nice inside. Clean, quiet, and private rooms with soothing music playing. The lady behind the reception desk is very warm and nice, presumably the owner. I like that this place is open early and late and appears to be well staffed. I tried to make an appointment at Elements in New Providence and they wouldn't have anybody available that could do deep tissue until noon and only seemed to have men that do deep tissue when I prefer a female therapist. My therapist, Angela, applied just the right amount of force and obviously is well skilled, identifying problem areas on her own and focusing exactly where I have been experiencing chronic pain in my left shoulder lately. They offer package rates and discounts and really do offer a nicer facility that is better staffed with authentic and skilled Chinese massage therapists for comparable pricing. I was around the area and looked up for a Chinese massage and this place came up. I'm very picky when it comes to my massages so after reading all the (5 star) reviews, I decided to give this place a try. after walking in, I thought I wasn't going to like it. I asked for someone strong preferably a male. They sent a young male in and I suddenly got uncomfortable (because I'm a young female too).. I rather preferred a older male. So I asked if I could get a female instead. After laying and waiting a pretty long time, she came in. She was AMAZING. She was STRONG but it was the perfect touch of strong - gentle, relaxing and firm. I was so surprised. She knew all the knots that were bothering.. it's as if she read my mind. I really didn't want the massage to end.. that even during the massage, I asked if I could do more 30 minutes. Sadly, I couldn't.. since it was getting busy. I knocked off one star because of the price. OKAY.. $65 for ONE hour? that's also if you use a card. if you use cash, it'll only be $60. Okay... I can get massages for $35 in the city. The massage was amazing and perfect but I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon. (maybe if I win the lottery and money isn't a factor) You can basically get two massages in the city or any other Chinese relax spas.. for the price of one here. read more

Went here for a much needed foot massage. I was stressed out and my feet were aching. Scheduled an hour foot massage. When I showed up the place was welcoming, clean and relaxing. The foot massage area has three recliners right next to each other. I'd much prefer more privacy but it is what it is. Each recliner had a table next to it with reflexology literature detailing various pressure points, the related organs and various health benefits of each point. I appreciate the information, and good to review the details because I don't quite remember all the areas back when I read about reflexology. My therapist had hands of steel! I mean my dogs are big! I can barely get any pressure on them myself. My wife gave up on foot massages long ago. My therapist was focused and relentless, the pressure was just right, just like I like it, deep and hard. I was not rushed and was allowed to relax a while afterwards. When I stood up I felt immensely reenergized as if time itself reversed and the weight of worldly responsibility lifted. It's been almost 4 years since my last 5-star review and I'm back to post another 5-star review. I've been going back monthly, sometimes more frequently, since 2015 when they first opened, and I'm still as pleased and impressed as I was back then. The only difference is I now only book appointments in advance (as opposed to a walk-in with whoever is available) with Jackie, or also with William if Jackie isn't available or I'm bringing a friend along. They are both the absolute best for my preferences. Everyone here is still kind, friendly, and gracious, and I can't imagine ever not coming here. I now go to both the Chatham location or the new Summit location depending on where Jackie is that day, and both places are spotless, calming, quiet, and inviting. So if you're deciding which location to stop in or make an appointment, they're both wonderful. It's also worth noting that their reasonable pricing hasn't changed in the 3+ years since they opened. They're doing everything right. Looking forward to 4 more years and beyond. read more

Kind of want to keep this one a secret, but here goes. Mary is an angel. I've done two reflexology massages and a back massage with her and it was all magic. Perfect pressure. Sweet and patient demeanor. So so good. Prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere is relaxed, not fussy or fancy, very clean. Receptionist has been terrific in person and over the phone. My spouse and I went for a massage together in the same room. We have had many many massages over the years and this was the worst most unenjoyable experience. Our masseuse's did not use massage oil so as you can imagine our fullbody massage was extremely painful! I was in So much pain from the skin chafing, I asked my masseuse to please use massage oil which she used sparingly. When I got home, my back was raw from the massage and I'm actually in pain from the burning. Never had a massage where oil was not used. If it's a cost saving decision, that's a bad move. You don't have to pay and arm and a leg to get a good massage. Leo did a great job and knew exactly what spots on my feet needed work. I came in for a 90 minute massage and Peter got me right. No frills just straight up massage. The man left no stone unturned and worked out kinks in my body I never knew I had. He was respectful towards my preferences on pressure. I'm sure I could have asked him to ease up for a more relaxing experience, but I was there for the body work. First massage since the COVID came, so there was much work to be done. I called at noon and was able to get an appointment for my friend and I by 6 pm that evening. She is an excellent massage therapist.She is pleasant,very attentive to the problem areas of my body, and very thorough. I love this spa! I am recovering from a spinal cord injury. My legs and feet are slowly returning with strength and feeling. Regular 60 minute foot massages here are making an excellent contribution to my recovery. It starts with a soak in a bucket. Then the timer for the massage begins. Working down each leg, they don't miss anything from the toes to the knees. As a starting point - let me start by saying the Massage was solid and that's what people should be looking for when they go to a massage place. That said - their business practices are questionable and as a fellow "Chinese" - I am not surprised but very disappointed in the way they are. Let me start with.......I call the day of for a last minute appointment. They were very welcoming at asking me to come. I arrive - only to have them tell me to wait ~20-30 minutes in 5 minute increments. After each 5 minutes - they would say...."5 more minutes"....this is ridiculous. Next - after the massage - they tell me since I had my masseuse "go hard" - it was $10 more for the massage. Where did that come from? How are customers supposed to know this distinction? Where else makes this distinction? Isn't "deep accupressure" at one of these places normal and expected? This is what pissed me off the most. Finally - they then went forward to dictate and say tips should be 30%. Wtf? Anyway - I don't plan to be back......they need to advance their business pratices to be more transparent and honest......I strongly urge others who have other choices to go elsewhere. read more

This place is legit and top notch service. I live in a neighboring town and was looking for a regular go-to no frills Chinese massage place. I've have Chinese massages all over the country and expect an excellent deep tissue experience. This place has everything and set in a spa like setting (much more high end than I expected for the price). I just got the best 1 hour massage and bought a package right after. This will now be my regular place to go, the prices are very reasonable, the service is highly professional, the atmosphere is better than some local high end spas and very relaxing. I had a massage here in July, 2015, and I was very impressed! The decor is welcoming and nice, and the staff are very courteous and friendly. I had a gift certificate for a one hour massage and it was absolutely amazing! She focused on the areas I had requested, and the pain in my right shoulder area was gone when I left. My practitioner was JACKEE. This healing center is absolutely wonderful. I visited them for a one-hour reflexology massage and it exceeded my expectations - just excellent. Great detail was given by JACKEE to all the reflexology points and my legs/feet felt relaxed, rejuvenated and renewed!
