Communication was often challenging, largely due to a language barrier, which made it difficult to address concerns properly. One major issue for us was the use of extremely strong air fresheners. My son, along with all his belongings, would come home reeking of synthetic fragrance that lingered for days. Made me really think why would daycare have to use synthetic material known as endocrine disturbers around young kids??? After doing my own research on the potential effects of air fresheners on children's development and well-being, I raised the concern with the owner--only to be dismissed and told they were "safe." I find this kind of attitude irresponsible, dangerous and disappointing. I would not recommend this place!

The owners, and coaches, Rob and Kathy McKay, not only know about swimming, but they know about children. The McKays are dedicated to providing a gentle and nurturing environment in which children can learn to love swimming, without the pressure and scare tactics that some other swim schools employ. Parents in the water with their baby/child is a must here at this school - so it really becomes a mommy (or daddy) and me program.
