This place has, hands down, THE BEST Chinese food in all of the shore towns. After living in North Jersey forever and being spoiled with great food your entire life, I can tell you this place is amazing. The people who own it and work there are so friendly, nice and kind. They get your order done quickly, never a long wait. You get more than your money's worth (and that means a lot in this economy!!). When a business is busy any day of the week, it speaks volumes. I tried a few Chinese spots down this area. Toms river, beachwood and bayville. So far this is my favorite. Very nice, clean and fast. The food tastes good as well. Its our go to chinese spot in the area. I usually get the general tso chicken. It has a nice taste the chicken is crispy and tender. And the pork fried rice has a nice taste as well not too oily. My mother swears the shrimp with lobster sauce is the best she ever had. She also like the fried wontons. The chicken lo mein was a little on the oily side but it had good flavor. All in all definitely a good spot for chinese. Its right across the street from the DQ in Bayville. Get some dessert on your way out i know i have before. Haha read more

Never had a problem with them before until today. Called for delivery, after 30mins called again I was told driver is on his way.20 mins passed driver still not here called them again they said 2 mins He'll be there. 10 mins passed still not here.Called again to cancel the order. Then driver came I told him that I cancelled the order and he asked why and told him you're late and he said DON'T CALL AGAIN! What kind of business this place have??!!! It's not my fault it's yours! I had actually heard great things about this place, but after trying a few different dishes a few different times we got chinese delivered, I won't order from them again. One of the biggest problem with ordering chinese is that there aren't many descriptions on the menu so you aren't sure of exactly what you are getting unless you've ordered it before. Tonight, my worst Great Wall experience, my husband ordered "hot and spicy chicken" which arrived in a semi-solid BRIGHT red sauce. The chicken was thinly sliced and BOUNCY with grizzle in 2 of the 5 slices I tried. (yes, I kept trying it - I am usually NOT a picky eater) and the huge slices of green pepper were practically raw. I'm kind of grossed out even thinking about it. I threw it out. I got mu shu veggies which is shredded cabbage and other veggies that comes with rice and tortilla-like wrappers. The flavor was OK, but it was so salty, I gave up after a few bites because I couldn't get past it. I've been disappointed by them for the last time. read more

ordered stuff for 85 dolars in late april 2023 ,man on fhone for take out was nasty keptcon sayong whatcyou want,and the sweat and sour sum bum was old and burt and hard,and the pork ribbs spare where burnt black,i dont recomend this restaurant the not so great wall. read more

Excellent!!! I had tried the other Great Wall and was very very disappointed but the new Great Wall is absolutely phenomenal. Their chicken with garlic sauce is so flavorful and even there wonton soup doesn't have that bland pale broth that most Chinese food places serve. One of the things I hate most is when you order egg rolls and get a greasy sloppy bag of mess. Not a worry here. Crispy delicious egg rolls that you can tell we're not fried in old oil like the other place. The food flavor was pretty decent but it was extra greasy and there was mystery meat in my Singapore mai fun. Just gonna leave that there. I was so happy when I found this place. They were very nice, extremely reasonable financially and the food was good. This changed the other day after ordering my usual, chicken and broccoli. I had a pint with rice got dinner and my husband got his usual boneless spare ribs. He said his tasted funny on first bite, so he refused to eat more, but I felt mine tasted fine and ate it all. Barely two hours later I was sick as a dog exorcist style. This is no joke and it was beyond words. To make this situation worse I called the next day and told them. Their response? It was something I did because their food is made fresh daily and no one else said anything. I simply asked fir my $12 back and they refused again saying it was my fault. I will NEVER go back there and would t ever send anyone, even my worst enemy there. I wanted to give no stars, but was forced to give at least one. read more
