Great hair cuts!! They listen to their customers in which what they want to to achieve.

Have you ever gotten in the barber's chair and when it was all said and done, you're a totally different person? I mean a cosmetic process that makes you feel differently inside??? A client can tell so much about a barber and the cut within the first minute of the cut. There's something about the barber's initial usage of the clippers that tells you everything you need to know about the cut. There's a lot that goes into this experience. The ambiance of the barbershop is crucial. A professional environment is so much better than one that doesn't prioritize looking, sounding, and being professional. Do the children have to listen to explicit lyrics in the songs played or what's displayed on tv? Do the barbers maintain a code of respect with what and how they communicate - or is everyone dropping F bombs every minute? I'm getting older. Peace matters. Professionalism matters. Excellence matters. Timeliness matters. Where I spend my money matters. If I am paying $50+ for each cut, I should get more than a nice haircut, I should get an entire quality experience!! Shout-out to Eddie Rosado Jose Crespo and the crew at New Heights Barbershop in Orange, CT. Every person is greeted upon walking in the door - not like "who you here for?" but an actual customer service greeting. I was impressed. Although I have never been a client of this shop, I was greeted with "Hey Furlow, what's good man - how have you been?" Barbers stopped what they were doing to dap me up. It was "OD" excellent and professional....AND THEY CAN CUT???? Hands down, this is wild and I haven't experienced this level of overwhelming care in a while. Are you looking for a barber?? My 14-year-old son always walks out of this barbershop looking great -- but more importantly, feeling great. His barber, Kelvyn, doesn't just give him a sharp, stylish cut; he takes the time to listen, connect, and help him feel comfortable and confident in his own skin. That kind of care and attention means a lot, especially at this age. The haircut itself is always clean, well-shaped, and exactly what my son wants (even when he doesn't quite have the words for it). My son and I came here for his graduation to get a shape up. We walked right in and he was seated right away, which was great since we running out time because we had to get to his graduation. The barber did a great job with my son's shape up and he even noticed my son's hair unraveling because he just got his hair twisted. He kindly said he could re-twist his hair. He also gave me a referral to an establishment that could do his twist the proper way since the shop we just left didn't do them right. A shape up was twenty dollars which is pricey so I can imagine how much a haircut cost. read more

First time I came here I got a good haircut. I got the impression this was a professional place. Second time the barber destroyed my hair. And that wouldn't be a problem by itself, mistakes happen, but he didn't own up to it until I walked around with a missing patch of hair for hours. You go to places like this because you want some professionalism. It costs 2 times what smaller places cost, but you accept it because you know the barber will be professional. So was shocked when I realized what he had done. He (made a bald spot) on the very top of my hair. It's clearly a mistake, and I accept mistakes happen. If the barber had just told me he messed up and made it right, I'd probably have been more willing to come in next time, not less, because it shows professionalism to admit a mistake. But instead of coming clean, he continued the cut in the exact same style he stated with. Which hid the bald spot from me when I looked in a mirror (In the picture the top of my hair is taller than the back. I walked around with a random skin deep bald spot in my head in the middle of a flat top for a good 4 hours after this. It almost looks like a patch of my hair has been ripped out, and the exposed hair is patchy to top it off. So this guy was willing to look me in the eye while he knew I looked like a fool, acted like nothing was wrong, and let me walk out. When I called back, the barber still tried to act like he wasn't really remembering exactly what he had done before half heartedly accepting it then offering to fix it. That's just what he should have done in the first place. Not made me walk around for the last 24hrs looking like a fool. Now either I have to live with this patch until it grows enough to stop showing my skin, or I have to cut most of my hair down to the skin level. Obviously there's no way I was going to go back. If he had taken ownership of the mistake I'd guess his hand slipped or something, but if he thinks this might have been acceptable enough to let me walk out with it, I don't want him near my hair. I gave 2 stars because the first haircut was good, but I'll never step foot in that place again, with good reason read more

Going to this place was honestly the best experience I had in a very long time. They are very professional and I enjoyed the atmosphere.
