Anchor Point is the only place that offers neurofeedback and biofeedback in Conyers or Convington. It looks like a home, outside and inside. The environment has a very comfortable feeling that would be good for anyone unnerved by clinical offices, like teens or families. I highly recommend Dr. Susan and Anchor Point!

Dr. Makim changed and eliminated meds, and within that 1 year, my son grew close to a foot taller and had his amazing personality back. With me, in Jan. 2021, I got Long-COVID and my mental health completely bottomed out for about a year. At that time, Dr. Makim insisted on FaceTime visits ONLY! (This was when the world was shut down due to Covid 19.) He insisted on being able to SEE me and made his diagnostic advices and treatments based on not just my voice and words, but also on how I appeared. I feel like he saved my life. I KNOW that he saved my life!! Outside of the doctors care is the business side. Some of their policies are a little strange, and sometimes the staff seems off, but they are always friendly, efficient, and none of us has ever waited more then 10 minutes - if we wait at all.

He did not try to make a emotional connection when I was struggling with the loss of my dad and moving to another state. He was very stoic and would pass judgement on me using cannabis at the time to help get through it. Instead of listening to my formal previous diagnosis of PTSD and binge eating disorder, his inability to connect or care about a black person left me with only the diagnosis of Bipolar (I have stable moods, I was literally experiencing mania due to being on a high amount of a antidepressant and I was in a state of panic due to being alone in a new state- something he chose to not acknowledge). Not only that but the only other diagnosis was Obesity. He did not help me, only was in it for the money. He would grunt when being asked to do calls instead of seeing him in person because of how uncomfortable he made me due to being insensitive and because I worked multiple jobs to *survive. He would rush me off the phone and in appointments and didn't care to empathize my lack of financial literacy and why I was having trouble with my life insurance. He offered no solutions, only made me see him every month then every 3 months for my medicine. He was not kind, did not try his best to help me, offer solutions or be empathetic and make me feel comfortable and seen. I regret wasting my money and time seeing him and wish I had chosen someone who cared more about helping me and diagnosing in a way to create a treatment plan instead of just for money and to meet a quota.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr Westerman for anyone with a sleep issue…read more I thought I might have sleep apnea when Matt told me I was waking him up at night making choking sounds. I got a referral from my Primary Care Physician to Dr. Westerman, and he was able to get me in for an appointment withing a couple of days. He recommended both day and night sleep studies, and the office was able to get me in the very same night due to a cancellation. Upon my arrival that evening, the technician on duty explained to me exactly what was going to happen. As she got me all hooked up (there are lots of wires and LOTS of icky goop), she explained to me what each set was for and answered any questions that I had. She was standing by all night ready to help me out, and in the morning made sure that she came in and introduced me to the technician that she was turning over with. When Dr Westerman arrived for the day, he also stopped in to say hello and check in with me. During the day study, the day technician was awesome. She checked on me constantly, made sure I had everything I needed, and kept me in the loop on everything. Once everything was done, Dr Westerman met with me and talked me through the initial readings on my studies. When I came back in for my complete results, he took the time that I needed, and explained everything to me. Every visit I have had with him since has been the same. He did not seem concerned with time, and ensured that my questions were all fully answered before I left. I recently lost my job, and, therefore, my insurance. When I called the office to let them know and to ask about prescriptions, I was assured by the office staff that they would work with me to ensure that I would not be without care and medication during this down time. I was very impressed with their kindness. Dr Westerman is also an accomplished amateur photographer, with his photos donning the walls of many of the exam and consultation rooms in the offices. If nothing else, its a great conversation starter! Super, friendly, accommodating staff, and a Doctor who actually seems to CARE about his patients. What more could you want? I will recommend Dr Westerman to anyone looking for a sleep doctor.

An absolute nightmare of an experience. I have been to several doctors in the past few years…read morebattling and on going health issue and I have never, ever, had such a horrible and negative experience with a PCP as I had with Dr. Musunuru. I moved states so I went in trying to establish care and communicate my on going issues since I can no longer be seen by my previous specialists. Within minutes of being seen, she was immediately very rude to me and dismissive of all of my concerns, (the ones I could even get out before she interrupted me.) Red flag number one. I was very confused as I was a first time patient and I had never met her before and she had no idea the reason of my visit. She constantly interrupted me when I was trying to communicate my feelings and my concerns to her throughout my entire visit. It was a constant battle to get a word in and even when I did, I was inevitably interrupted. Once I finally stood up for myself and finally got to finish my list of concerns I had, she dismissed almost everything once again. Stating "it's all mental" and another time stating that maybe the reason I've had to go to so many doctors was because I "was the problem." She made other comments as well that I can't write here publicly due to my privacy. The whole appointment just felt like one giant argument for no reason. I left crying my eyes out from frustration and called my husband to tell him my experience. I basically paid my copay be belittled and left at square one. I will have to now go somewhere else, pay another copay and start all over. This is all my own personal experience I had, so make your own choices. But I strongly advise others to avoid this practice. I have never felt so unsafe and awful leaving a doctors office.
