Driving along Hwy 401 yesterday, I heard a sharp cracking noise and thought a rock had smashed into my windshield about eye-level. Nothing looked wrong so I kept driving along the rest of the day. Well, due to the hot temperature yesterday and a slight cooling this morning, a pinhole appeared at eye-level along with a 1 centimetre crack on either side of the puncture. The first thing I thought of was to bring my new vehicle to a place I've been twice before. Ah yes, rocks seem to find me! My vehicle deductible is $1K and a new windshield runs $1200+. Well, book a service appointment and let's get it done. Lucky for me, Frank said they were able to repair the damage as it was less than the size of a 25 cent coin. I was back on the road an hour later for just $119. Customer service was great for the third time but I'm hoping to avoid making this a recurring visit.
