Yikes! I love the beer and the brand itself and Im a huge fan of the Wheat Ridge location but boy, CAN this place improve. We showed up and had multiple people on the wait staff ignore us (a party of 4 at the bar). Out if the 6-7 people working one of the waitresses finally came up and grabbed an empty glass from a previous patron but still didn't acknowledge us. So we waited around for a bit and finally one of the beertenders assisted us. We ordered our drinks and some nachos. The drinks came out fine. Waitress was not interested in anything but passing us the beers and being on her way. The nachos arrived completely cold and a different waitress, Helen, assisted us to get it fixed. She was the only one who actually smiled and gave us the time of day. Albeit that Arvada is the more established location of the two, the Arvada location can definitely benefit from learning a thing or two from Wheat Ridge. read more

Both were great for a warm summer day. Not only do they offer a solid line-up of brews, but they feature some great liquors and a small selection of wine too! Their kitchen serves up a variety of tacos, nachos, and bowls too! Yum! My tummy is grumbling just thinking about it. Our beertender was incredibly friendly and gave us a great run down of the tap list. I absolutely adored the space. New Image Brewing (NIB) stands tall among Colorado's best craft brewers, getting better every year. I can only fault them for being across town from me. I've been twice since Covid, once in August, and just recently. Both visits told the same story, one of superlative suds, fantastic French fries, and the kind of sincere service you wish every place offered. Seating: They have festooned their back patio & parking lot with tables and covered much of the space with tents that allow free airflow. While this was nicer in August, we did just fine this week in 47 degree temps. Just remember to dress warmly for the wind! Beer: NIB excels with New England Style IPAs, innovative pastry stouts, and creative sours. Some of these can exceed 10% abv. Fortunately, they offer 4oz pours so we can try more than one. Their IPAs consistently nail the soft mouthfeel NEIPAs are known for, but never miss the mark or go over the top with hoppy goodness. Food: The menu offers tacos, wings, nachos, and tortas that look anything but ordinary. We split the chorizo queso fries yesterday and could not have been happier. In fact, these may have been the most satisfying fries I've ever had! Service: Everyone we spoke to shared enthusiasm for and strong knowledge of NIB's brews, in addition to being super friendly and helpful. Here's a shout out to Simon, who went out of his way to show us a good time. Downsides? No kids, no dogs for the time being, but this makes perfect sense during a pandemic. Not kid friendly and the gentleman staff member we encountered was as rude and condescending as the 'Kids Policy' written on the back of the menu. This was our first visit to the brewery. Our 10 year old wanted to see the patio. We were seated inside at the closest table to the patio entryway. Within 1 minute of our son going outside, the male employee with glasses storms in and slams the kids policy menu on the table. He proceeds to bang his index finger on the menu to highlight his disapproval of our son looking at the outside patio while telling us this is our verbal warning and next time we would be asked to leave. read more

This place has indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is surprisingly large with picnic tables and I think I saw corn hole out back. They have fairy lights spelling out their acronym name covering a giant wall outside - love this!! They don't have flights but you can get 4oz pours of whatever you like, so I did that. Their bloody orange beer is my fav. Mushroom burger comes with a patty - very yummy!! They have option to switch to impossible burger which is also nice. They ran out of a couple items on the menu in the past 2 times I've been here, which is funny since they have a very small menu. Fail. This place failed us. I felt so bad that coming here was my suggestion. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't terribly busy. And yet it was just one problem after another. After placing our order, our waitress informed us to say that they were out of queso (we'd ordered the nachos). They make their queso in house, which is great, but it would take about 40 minutes to be ready. Nope. Not ok. How are you already out of an item when you've only been open for a couple hours and you don't have that many customers?? My friends quickly ordered the tzatziki dip instead. Thank goodness it came out quickly (we were very hungry after hiking) and was absolutely delicious. The little fried pita triangles were ridiculously good - crunch on the outside and super soft on the inside. But that's where the good review ends. We all ordered a variety of tacos (seven in all) and a kids quesadilla. After waiting at least twenty minutes, my husband got his tacos and my kiddo got his food. About five minutes after that, I got my two tacos.....five minutes passes...ten minutes. My pregnant friend and her husband still had no food in front of them!!! (Pregnant ladies need to eat!!). After a few more minutes we finally managed to flag down someone (our waitress was MIA). We mentioned the lost food. She immediately ran off and then came back. She confirmed that the ordered had been placed, but for some reason, it hadn't been made. After another 5-10 minutes their food arrived. I wish we could say it was worth the wait. But no. My falafel taco was only ok. It was really lacking in flavor - the falafel itself was under seasoned and it could've used more sauce. My Korean BBQ was the opposite - the heat from the kimchee over powered everything else. Yuck. After all of this, we barely even got an apology. The time wasted and the mediocre food was definitely not worth the price. read more

Menu has completely changed so time for an updated review. The tacos were awesome. But check the vertical typeface on the menu before ordering. I was surprised to find out that my pork belly taco was actually a tostada. Some are soft tacos, some are sopes, and some are tostadas. I'd say the Thai fish taco was the best. Tacos were small but filling. And tasty! The Rocky Mountain cold brew coffee they carry was also very good. As you can see from my menu picture, no more Brussels sprouts, no more fries, no more fish. I couldn't access their updated menu through their website. If you are coming for the food, not just the beer, plan accordingly. If you are only visiting for the beer, it's the same and still amazing. read more

I do not think they have enough staff for the restaurant to be open for business. We had a reservation, but there were no tables available. Over the next thirty minutes, we saw a challenging situation. There's no one seating patrons. Many in the restaurant were waiting a long time for food. We came here for a quick lunch while we were visiting Colorado. I'd realized at this point in our visit in Colorado that there are so many breweries here. I am not a huge beer guy, and to really set one brewery apart from another, it would have to come down to the food. New Image Brewing was a great place to stop by during our stay. We came during happy hour (actually all day on Mondays). The waitress was extremely friendly, prompt, and polite to the degree that made the dining experience even better. I got the pork belly Banh Mi (not pictured). The pork belly was incredibly flavorful and worked great with the fresh vegetables. The jalapeno gave a nice kick. The roll was perfect - crispy outside with a chewy bite. The carnivore nachos were just okay. We substituted the chicken for the smoke brisket and it had an artificial smokey taste to it. My friend got the tacos which looked amazing. She was very pleased with the three different kinds she had ordered. Again, I'm not much of a beer drinker, but the happy hour included a beer with the banh mi, so I ordered the Moped (blood orange witbier) and actually enjoyed it. It was very refreshing. I would check this place out again my next time in Arvada. The staff were all friendly, and the variety of tacos have me curious to try more food from here. read more

Loved this gem in Arvada! Great outdoor space and plenty of IPAs, Witbiers, and collaborations with other spots! I loved their Single By Choice and Moped! However, my favorite was a collaboration with the Dumb Friends League, Slobberin Hobbs! A donation to a great cause and an excellent beer will always be a match made in heaven to me. We also enjoyed the queso chorizo fries that blew me away and for appetizer was surprisingly filling! They were crispy, cheesy, and paired well with everything. First time coming to New Image and I love it here! Super friendly staff - great with recommendations and just overall energy was awesome. The Half and Half was awesome - not too hoppy, light and easy drinking. Also the curry fries? Good lord! The flavors are perfect - not too much of a spice bite either. Absolutely the best hidden gem of a brewery in the Denver area! Located in Olde Town Arvada, this little brewery is the best kept secret for IPAs. It's super local, quaint & friendly. They serve craft cocktails with several local boozes too! The beer is awesome and the staff is even more incredible... very different experience than many other breweries :) street parking is easy, they have an awesome patio, and there's full service at the tables. What more could you want? I've been here several times but it's totally drawn us into Olde Town Arvada. The bartenders are amazing (Scott, Emerall & Gavin = badasses!) They let you taste it before you buy it, and none of their IPAs will let you down. Fret not, they have many other good beers too - their sours are incredible! And almost everything is canned in 4 or 6 packs to go, but you can also get crowlers too. Their merch is on point too, love their graphic designer! Sara loooved their Juniper Jones gin (by Family Jones in the Highlands), but she wouldn't have known about it if they didn't let her sample it first. LOVE! They also have tasty food too, but the beer is so good you don't need any of it. :P All in all, this is by far my favorite brewery in the Denver metro area... awesome beer, amazing staff, and super cool vibe. We came here with a PubPass and had no issue with it! Their brews are unique and have a large selection of sours if you're into them. Very informative and friendly wait staff! Personally, I wasn't that impressed with the beer as much as I was with their cocktails! Very delicious cocktails. We ordered a side of fries and their queso chorizo fries that were cooked to perfection! Lots of outdoor seating for Covid times, tables are wiped down between guests. There's an outdoor undercover tent along with uncovered patio seating. Right now as the weather is getting colder they're promoting outdoor seating with $1 off draft beers and $2 off if it's 32 degrees or less so that's a nice touch. From IPAs (Eat and West), to fruity sours, to tasty dark collaborations, to barrel aged high ABV gems; this place is making them all in outstanding fashion. We have a large amount of breweries within close proximity, so it really means something when I say that this is our favorite local brewery. The food is second to none, and the beer selection is also amazing. They always have a guest tap list in case you don't fancy any of their own offerings, but I'm sure you can find something you like on their list. The Dyad is my favorite- a really interesting sour saison with kombucha and guava. "A hipster's dream" in my husbands words. You just have to go. Try a bunch of the tapas style menu items- don't miss out on the pork kimchi tacos or the buffalo ravioli. Oh, and they have brunch on Sundays. Seriously awesome. New menu as of May 2018. This was our first time here tonight to celebrate my husband's and best friend birthday. Let me start off my saying our waitress was awesome! She was fabulous and came by periodically to check on me , my husband and bestie. We had been here drinking and eating since 3pm and left around 7pm. Needless to say great night and great DJ !! I head to the bar to purchase my final T-shirt ( making this fourth in total for the night) Close out my bill over $250.00 + a generous tip! My husband is in the restroom , me and my bestie head out side. We all of a sudden are literally ran up on my a Random Waitress !! No one that I have seen all day or night or once has served our table!! Runs outside on us and -ask ," excuse me did you even pay your bill before leaving ." Are you serious!! I replied respectfully yes and why she she was asking us? Her simple response was ,"okay I'll check!! ."We proceeded to leave as I felt it was absolutely insulting!!! Let me just say .... I am a born and raised North side native!! I am a Chicano busniess woman .... very successful and proud of my roots!! Not one person .. not one ahead of us all day , all night was ran up on outside at the entrance of this business Establishment and asked if they paid their bill!! I will NEVER Come back here again!!
