For context I avoided the dentist at all costs for nearly 25 years due to a pretty rough experience I had as a child which created a bit of a severe phobia (the kind where you seriously consider pulling your own teeth instead of going to the dentist). Like you'd expect my teeth became an issue that couldn't be ignored anymore and I began looking for a dentist. I stumbled across all west family dentistry and took a chance that has turned out to be an excellent choice. They have been incredibly patient and supportive all the way through & I could not have gone from being too afraid to sit in the chair to successfully getting a tooth extracted without their superb quality of care. From reception, to the hygienists, dental assistants, and the dentists themselves this place is great. I'd like to thank Dr Aguilar, his assistants one I believe is named Erica, the other who helped with my extraction I cant remember her name but she was very kind and helpful. The ladies at reception especially Heather are top tier, they have wonderful communication and help create an environment that makes someone in my position feel more comfortable. Thought I just got something stuck in my cap. Nope I had a fracture in the root. So har to have my tooth pulled. This was part of a bridge so she had to cut the bridge and pull the molar. I put some headphones on and she was very gentle ( yeah I know still getting a tooth pulled) with it but before I knew it we were done. I got a few more things I need to go back and get done but I feel like I'm not getting taken advantage of.

He chose not to call, prompting me to write this review. As part of my visit on 9/24, before the cleaning I specifically went there for, the dental assistant performed a gum charting exercise (if not familiar, it's an easy Google lookup to describe what the charting numbers mean). For each tooth, she read out to her assistant 4s and 5s. A 12 year old failing implant had a much higher reading I'm sure was accurate. Dr. Noll told me I need a deep-cleaning to the tune of approximately $600...I subsequently saw my periodontist a few days later to evaluate the old implant. He performed another charting that revealed 2s and 3s. I then asked if I'd benefit from a deep cleaning, and I guess because of professional courtesies between doctors, he reluctantly told me I won't benefit from the procedure. It was the difference between what I was told at this appointment and what my periodontist said that led me to move on.

It was determined that I needed a deep cleaning and even a laser treatment. Afterwards I was told I needed a consultation with a doctor. I waited for an hour to see the doctor, who simply asked if everything was ok and looked at my X-rays. Since the visit with the doctor took 5 minutes with an hour long wait I had to reschedule the cleaning. Really??? Complete waste of my time. I was furious. So now I have to take more time out of my schedule to get my teeth cleaned. The hygienist has a busy schedule also so now I have to work around her availability. Utter nonsense!! If you know this ahead of time then start the cleaning and the doctor can pop in when he has a chance during the cleaning. Be warned, ask for the cleaning while the hygienist is with you or you will wait forever for the doctor and you have to reschedule for the cleaning. The ultimate recommendation, Go somewhere else!!

I'd never been there, but they had the fastest appointment. They said my old partial couldn't be repaired and I needed a new one. What followed was a nightmare: Waited 4 weeks for the new partial. It broke 3 days after I got it. Waited another 3 weeks for a repair. That broke 2 weeks later. Waited another 3 weeks for the next repair. That one lasted 6 months. After the first break, I babied these partials and only wore them when absolutely necessary. Still broke again after a year. When it broke, they pitched me a second partial as a "backup" so I wouldn't be toothless for weeks during repairs. The quality issues alone are unacceptable. Billing was just as bad. I was never given one correct quote during multiple visits. I was told I'd owe way more than I actually did, then later given repair quotes that cost almost as much as a new partial. My insurance says my copay for repairs is $10. I've paid for these repairs before. The woman at the front desk, who I assume is the office manager based on how she acts, was rude, condescending, and unable to work with insurance to get correct pricing. A couple of the dental assistants were cool, but most everyone else there seems to care about the all mighty dollar, not patients. If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay away from Gentle Dental, especially this location!

I was explaining the times being wrong which is confusing to me, and she responds with "I don't own the place, I don't own google" OBVIOUSLY YOU DONT your work at the front desk of a dental place. This is my third problem with her, she has the attitude of a 14 year old teenager, with zero communication or business/service skill. I don't know how she's still here.
