I want to get a check up and was looking for a new dentist. What a mistake I made by going here! I was not happy at all with the experience and I decided not to return. That began a series of BILLS in the mail that should never have come to me but to my insurance company. Multiple times I had to call their unbelievably bad - so called - customer service. I had to involve my insurance company more than once to attempt to correct their stupid mistake (that they refused to acknowledge!). (I hope it is taken care of now, but only time will tell.) I found a new dentist and asked them to request the x-rays that were taken from this office. OMG! Not only was this difficult, this office sent the x-rays to ME and NOT to the new office! I called them to get the x-ray email UNENCRYPTED and spoke to the RUDEST most DISRESPECTFUL person who called herself the Office Manager! I was in shock that someone like her could still be working there with such a rotten attitude! This woman was accusing me of all kinds of bad behavior - supposedly while I was in that office. She seemed she was making it up as she went along because she hates her job, or people, or maybe both! That such unacceptable behavior is allowed to continue in an office that deals closely with the public is outrageous! I will NEVER step foot in that office again and will tell everyone I can to avoid them like the plague! How they stay in business with such employees and attitudes is beyond my understanding. My 22yr old daughter wanted a cleaning. First, They couldn't do initial exam and cleaning in same visit. Then they said she needed 4 fillings re-done for over $800 and she paid 1/2 upfront. She got two done and then had worse tooth pain after. (No pain prior). She went back and they found her tooth that was refilled was now cracked. Didn't go back; had another dentist look at her filling and they re-did that filling so it didn't mess with her bite and pain gone. I googled the nearest dental office that could fix a tooth that fell out of a denture and aspen dental in Glendale came up saying that it could be fixed starting at $49.95. I called to make an appointment and was able to get in the same day. When I arrived, I was told I needed X-rays. I told them that all I needed was to get the denture fixed. They insisted that I needed the X-rays so I did much to my objection. They then led me to a d ntal chair for an exam. I again told them I was only there to get the tooth glued back in the denture. They argued with me saying that since I'm there, might as well do the exam. I told them no, I was just there to get the denture fixed. They told me to wait and they would find out if the denture could be fixed, which they already told me they could. A lady came out and told me that since I denied the exam, they couldn't help me. Needless to say, I left and did not hold back my anger. I also need to say that I am afraid of dental procedures as I have had numerous problems in the past, which I told them. I felt bullied and pressured and should not feel like that when asking for assistance. I will NEVER go to them again or recommend them to anyone! I thought I'd try Aspen dental due to it being open on Saturdays. How wrong I was. First, the Saturday opening is for first time clients, even if you have tooth pain. They do xrays and quick 10 minute exam and then try to schedule during the week. Since that first appointment, it's been one disappointment after another. I've had six scheduled appointments and they have cancelled three of them. They left a hole in my tooth, didn't even get it filled on one of the appointments they did keep. The Doctor looked at it and said I needed to come back on a different date to get it filled and get my crown, which was then cancelled again. I finally got it filled and temporary crown, which has since fallen out, and they've cancelled my appointment for my permanent crown and have not in the last two weeks confirmed my crown has arrived. Do not ever use this company. They are a corporation and not sympathetic to it's patients, only the bottom line. I do not expect this will ever get a response from them. read more

Steer clear of this dental office. It takes 3-5 attempts to actual be seen because they cancel on you day of constantly. Want to give them a call to schedule their cancellation? Good luck. I think 1/10 calls they answer. Their system was down last month when I was supposed to have an appointment, so when I came in they let me sit there for 10 minutes before saying they can't see me and would call me to reschedule when the system was back up. This place is not to be trusted. I have been going to Aspen dental in Omaha Nebraska for five years. They have clean my teeth every six months. I went to this location yesterday and they tried to tell me I had a gum disease before they even looked at my mouth or my records. All they wanted was to charge my insurance company more and charge me more. I called and we verified with my Omaha office, where I was at six months ago, and they verified that they were trying to pull something. This place is the worst. I booked my husband an appointment because he has 2 broken teeth and they were causing him problems. The rest of his mouth needs lots of work, and we knew that, but the broken teeth are needing work immediately. The hygienist was rude and made awful comments to him, shaming him. Awful denist. They messed up my tooth and left it broken underneath the cap and never told me it was broken. My tooth had to be pulled a few days later. The doctor/owner at Aspen put me on two rounds of antibiotic to cover it up. Then he wanted to send me to oral surgeon after all of the lies. He knew the tooth was broken because he took xrays. He should of done this on the first place. I should of reported him to the dental board but I was happy to get rid of the pain. I suffered two months and one month after extraction. The office staff is told to push by Aspen. The office manager also lied to my husband in regards to his gum treatments. I reported this and got our money back. I called in and scheduled a cleaning about a week in advanced. A few days later when the office staff called to confirm my appointment for the following day, they informed me in fact I could not get a cleaning I would need an evaluation appointment then I would have to come back for the cleaning. This is not what I was told when scheduling in the first place, so I wasted all the time I could have just gone elsewhere waiting for this appointment. I work and am not about to come in for evaluations, cleanings and possibly more follow ups in the case they would find a cavity. Very unprofessional office staff. I just got two back teeth extracted and I feel great, and it's not because the pain meds. It's because I had the best dental experience in my life. From the beginning this office has been very helpful and courteous. I still have two root canals, a couple cavities, and some gum disease to get taken care of, so I will keep you all updated as the work continues. As of now I Very Highly recommend Aspen Dental! I have now had two extractions and three cavities filled(by Dr. Aurora) Great dentist, two thumbs way up! I had two root canals(by Dr. Cadden) Made the whole thing very painless and easy, YES I said very painless! The Dental Assistant (Jessica) was very helpful throughout the whole process too. Even the front office staff was attentive to my needs and concerns. We had A hick-up today and they were very professional in handling and correcting the issue. Went here to get a tooth extracted, my back molar. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a dentist! Not only did I feel some of the pain and left crying. My tooth was taken out at 8AM and didn't send my pain medication out until 1PM!!!!! So I'm sitting in pain for hours before my script was even sent out. I get my script and only my pain medication was sent out and NOT my antibiotics that he said i NEEDED to take as soon as i got them. Well the office closed at 1 and didn't send out my script until 1 and what do you know, NO ANTIBIOTICS and they aren't open on the weekends, so i have no way to get ahold of anyone. I call the emergency line because my extraction sight is INFECTED and takes ANOTHER 24hours to even get help. By far the WORST experience I've had with anyone. Will never go back. UPDATE: Gave me the WRONG number to call and "resolve" this incident. What a joke of administration. Figured out the correct number myself, called and the lady said her computer was "running slow" and that she would have to just tell Sarah herself to call me back. Guess what. NO CALL. Aspen Dental advertising is everywhere, but that does not mean that they are good at what they do. I was there for a denture job but their price is ridiculously high compare to the current market, the people is friendly but many are new to their job, so they did not perform well, except for Dr Lau, he is great. I am a new patient at Aspen Dental. I want to thank the young man at the front desk for being attentive to my needs. The praise stops there. I went in for a root canal on a bridge. Well needless to say it only lasted a week due to the tooth cracking in half. I called for an estimate I was suppose to receive and was told I needed to come in and see the doctor again. I informed the young lady that I just seen the doctor just a few days. I was told it doesn't matter. It seems as though this facility is milking the insurance companies. My wife went in today for a cleaning. She was told she had to have a full mouth X-ray first. Once the viewed the x-ray she was informed that she was unable to have the cleaning offered by the insurance. My wife was told that she needed a deep cleaning and it would cost her $480. I am 61 years old and I have never been told no you can't have a regular cleaning you have to upgrade to the deep kind and it will cost you out of pocket. What a rip off. A friend of mine suggested Aspen Dental on Bell Road. If I could give "0" stars I would. The hygienist, pleasant, conducted the measurements of the pockets in my gums, digging deeply, I had never found it a painful process before this, and was dismayed to hear the high numbers throughout my mouth. The plan-deep cleaning and scaling, 17 areas required Arestin at $89 each, 6 bacterial applications @ $150, A ORAL B ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH!?!?!? The bill before my Dental Plan $3900!!! $2500 after plan discount applied. I decided on a second opinion, former dentist and hygienist...ONE!!!!!! tooth requires deep cleaning and scaling.. 2 Arestin at $39 the other numbers were 1-3 with a few 4's which they said they will watch and with stepped up oral hygiene *perhaps a water pik* total out of pocket $175.00. Both the hygienist and the Dentist reviewed the findings and told me everything at this time looked good and perhaps to consider a couple of molar crowns with ancient large silver fillings. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist. He pulled 2 teeth that there was nothing wrong with them told me he had to pull them to be able to make my partial he was lying and he made my face black and blue from pulling so hard on my teeth. My denture and partial have never fit correct I have been there several time to get it adjusted and still horrible pain only can ware them a few hours a day. I see a support staff turnover of nearly 90% every time I go for my 6-mo checkups. It's possible they move around inside of the Aspen corporation. However, there are individuals that have been there for some time. Fortunately, we have dental insurance, because the cost of dental care has skyrocketed over the past 5 yrs. Our insurance covers around 60% of our costs which is a substantial amount in dollars. I can't imagine going without dental insurance these days. I'm at a point, much sooner than I anticipated, in my life where it's costing me more to keep my teeth than pulling them all and getting dentures. It's just in the last year my teeth have started to fail faster. I get above average care at Aspen Dental. They recognize you, treat you very professionally, and you're in-and-out on time. They have a patient portal to access all your dental information, make/change/confirm an appointment, etc which I do use. 4 always gives them room for improvement. No one is 5 . read more

I'm fully insured and my insurance company tells me that the procedures I had done are fully covered. Aspen made sure to charge up front to get the money from me and they won't work with the insurance to close the claim and my insurance is willing to pay. They won't send the insurance company the required information they asked for. Instead Aspen Dental continues to send me a and my wife a bill. I make a practice of taking very good care of my teeth and have frequent cleaning. To follow this regiment I went in to get my typical teeth cleaning. I had the standard X-rays and check up and when the dentist came in he said I needed deep cleaning in all four quadrants of my mouth. They told me it would be approximately $2500. I thought that was pretty high so I ended up going to West Valley Family Dental and they said that my teeth were in great condition and didn't deep cleaning. Never been a fan of dentist's, they have always made me feel like their more about the money than the actual patient. I have to give Apsen Dental an A+++ they took such amazing care of my mom and made sure she was comfortable throughout the entire visit. I brought my mom to Aspen Dental in Glendale AZ from Lake Havasu AZ which is about a 3 and a 1/2 hour drive on 3/23/19 to get a top and bottom set of dentures. She was extremely nervous and still had a lot of teeth to be extracted. Due to how far we live Aspen made it possible to have everything done same day so we could minimize trips back and forth. From the moment we arrived the staff made my mom feel so comfortable about everything that was going to go on, explaining every procedure in detail and always asked if she needed anything. The dentist was so careful with removing all her remaining teeth making it as least painful as possible. The lab tech that made my moms dentures did an outstanding job and litterally got this women taking more selfies than my pre teen daughter. I cannot express enough how thankful I am that we decided to go with Aspen Dental and I appreciate their staff oh so much for bringing back my momma's smile. Thank you again Aspen Dental!! read more

The new office assistant filled in. He was singing 'Superman' and flirting with another employee. Got out at 745 pm. Extremely painful. Came back for permanent bridge. They took it off and realized it had been fit improperly and inflamed my gums and a nerve. More extreme pain. They put the permanent on and it fell out today while I was literally doing nothing. I would give 0 star if I could. I got a root canal and crown a year ago. It became loose and went back. After he tugged on it he said there isn't anything he could do about it and I needed to go to a specialist. Hindsight I wish I would up spoke up during the initial root canal because I could tell there was a problem because I had to go back a couple of times. He was checked in told him I was going to go next door to get something to eat in front of the staff.
