Getting braces is a journey, especially when a pandemic breaks out and you don't know what to expect so this may be a very long post! I was referred to this office by my good friend and my now fiance who had both had good experiences here. I went in as someone who had what others might describe as 'mildly crooked teeth'. Once I walked into the office for the first time, I remember being greeted by Colleen, the receptionist with the most perfect teeth!! She was so warm and welcoming right off the bat and her teeth were like a walking advertisement. Seriously, they're perfect. I immediately felt a little more comfortable and sure about my decision. Then, I got to meet Dr. Moran and his wife Pam who felt like family right away. They took the time to not only ask questions about my teeth but about me too and they were genuinely curious. So, we setup my appointment to get my top braces placed and we were off and running. I was expected to have braces for two years and ended up getting them off after about a year and a half which was great. During that time, Dr. Moran and Pam sent out a letter that they would be spending more time at home and a new Dr. would be joining the office. Not gonna lie I was a little nervous because the experience I'd already had was so good that I wasn't sure what to expect. Dr. Zinn came in and it was like nothing had changed, she is so sweet and caring. Also I have to thank the staff here too, Stephanie, Marcie, Liz and Jordan. I wouldn't have the smile I have today without all of you, thank you! And thank you to Christian, who was there to go to bat for me with my stubborn insurance that didn't want to follow through with their portion of payments. She was so persistent, even after my insurance had denied the claim a few times. The experience of getting braces is unique because it gives you a chance to get to know the staff over a period of a couple of years since you come in about once a month. My eight year old daughter is in dire need of braces! She has a severe over-bite. We visited Dr. Vina for a consultation and she was incredibly thorough and thoughtful as she met with my anxious kiddo. Dr. Vina explained to my daughter the step-step-process of eventually getting braces. Truthfully, I was a little concerned that we were starting too early. But the dental practice's proactive approach for younger patients makes sense--start a little younger and cut down the time required for braces later on. Best of all, this gradual process will allow my nervous daughter to get used to the idea of having braces one day while still doing some proactive corrective work along the way. The front desk staff is efficient and friendly, which is such a welcome change from most pediatric offices I've been to. The waiting area is set up to keep kids entertained and relaxed, with children's TV shows, video games and books. It was our first encounter with orthodontics so I didn't know what to expect; but the entire experience from start to finish was excellent! read more

Dr. Moran was my orthodontist and now he's my brother's orthodontist. The staff are all extremely friendly and kind. I never had to wait more than 15 minutes after getting there for my appointment. It was also really easy to make and reschedule appointments. They also have a hotline number which was extremely helpful when one of my brackets would pop off and I didn't have an appointment anytime soon. I was had a wonderful experience there. I was actually really sad when I finished all my appointments because everyone was so nice but now I get to come back with my brothers. I would recommend them to anyone who may need braces.
