I had the exterior a couple bedrooms and interior doors of my home painted by New Image Painting. I requested two coats on all surfaces. I was told that because they spray it from different angles, it is essentially two coats. That is not two coats in my book. I specifically asked for a certain brand and level of paint. The crew showed up with something different I had to call them on it. Matt said the paint they brought is the same quality as what I requested and paid for. Not sure about that. They got paint on my windows, screens, outside furniture, plants and concrete. It took me two weekends to clean up the mess they left. There are spots that were missed and need to be painted. The patio cover was poorly painted. I will be painting it again in a couple years. They cleaned their tools in my yard and now I have dead spots in both my front and back yards. They broke one of my solar landscape lights. Matt gave me $20 to cover the getting a new one, but only after I brought it to his attention. The crew was not going to say anything. I had two friends who were waiting for my house to be painted and were hoping for a recommendation which I could not give. read more

Image Painting was one of the painting contractors I called for an estimate. After reviewing all estimates and checking reviews, I decided to go with Image Painting. I noticed a few of the requested items were not included on the estimate. I spoke to the owner and he added these items and we agreed on the increase in pricing for the job. The owner, Matthew brought his crew out and gave them detailed directions. They came in and worked very professionally. They covered our furniture and hardwood floors before starting. They arrived every day at the agreed upon time and did a very good job. I am very happy with their work and will hopefully get to use them again for some outside painting. Called for an in-person quote for some work to be done at my home. Matt the owner said he would come out but then called and said he could not come at the time and day agreed upon. We rescheduled and he never showed up. I gave him a second chance as I do everyone so I figured twice is enough for me, no thanks. The workers were wonderful but dealing with the owner Matt was not. He was late he was inconsistent and he did not listen to what I asked him to do. Hey came to my house and spoke to my husband and then called me and said well I just want to make sure we're going to get paid for this job . I told him why wouldn't you get paid if it was to my specifications? It was very insulting for him to ask me that question and very odd I thought. I told him on 3 separate conversations that I wanted my closet doors painted the same color as the walls but apparently he heard it as I want to leave my closet doors white. When I asked him when the job was done why weren't the closet doors painted he said well we always leave them white.He then wanted to charge me more to do them. He scheduled To do my bedroom and the hallway but on the day of arrival he tells me sorry we can't do the hallway today will have to come back in like a week and a 1/2 so obviously I did not have him back. If you do deal with him just make sure you get everything specific in writing. I would not recommend him or use him again. read more
