All of which The Candi Project met, much to our joy!!! Chris and Aenid are AMAZING to work with. They met with us about a week after I had reached out to them, and communicated with us to get all the info before our big day (which was only a few weeks away at that point!). The day of the wedding, they went to my now husband's place first to capture him getting ready and were infinitely patient when he was very late in coming back home from picking up his best man! They then came to my place to capture me getting ready with my ladies, then rushed to the church to set up their cameras for the ceremony. It was AWESOME having the dual team and THREE different camera angles at our ceremony. And they were with us at the reception until like an hour before the party ended - which was almost 12 hours!!! They were also ridiculously fast with the editing - our wedding was on 10/5 and they sent us the link to our highlights video YESTERDAY - only 3 weeks!! I can't stop watching our video. If you want your memories captured professionally and beautifully do NOT use Digital Storm Video and Photography!!! On the day of my reception these "photographers" were so nasty to me. Any request I made was ignored. First, I asked for a first look picture, the picture of the groom's reaction seeing the bride for the first time, the female photographer refused to do this. Then, I asked for the photographer to do a picture of the bridesmaids blowing a kiss to me, she rolled her eyes and continued to give directions for other poses. We got to the hall and they insisted on taking all of our pictures in front of the limo. There was a beautiful gazebo that I had to ask a million times to take pictues in...the photographer's response? "UGH! Why do we have to keep moving around?" Seriously? Her attitude ruined my whole mood. Skip to me getting my pictures - they only edit the photos you choose for your album. Stupid. Fine. I choose my pictures for my album and called to ask for an estimated date that it would be ready. Response? "when we get to it, we get it. Idk" Huh?? Okay, fine. She sends me the album to approve and she's done basically no editing. There's electrical cords in the background of my photos, there's people's heads and people that aren't supposed to be in the shot still in the photo. What editing?!?!? Literally nothing was edited without me going page by page and saying "can you please crop this out?" "can you fix this?" I didn't go page by page because at some point I was too annoyed. I got my album to find that a few pictures that I was in, I am now cut out. My video? TERRIBLE. I, the BRIDE, am in a total of 5 minutes or less of the dancing at the wedding. You can clearly see them walk passed me many times. But there's a full minute and a half of my aunt shaking her butt. Thanks. Edit: I did receive a photo enlargement from them that I really liked and they did a good job with. That was my favorite part of their service. It was blended nicely with the photo from my Muslim wedding which I know she had to go out of her way to do so I did appreciate that. I was upset about the attitude that I was given. I felt as though I was treated unfairly. The male photographer was nicer and when I was emailing back and forth with the female (I'm sorry; I can't remember names) she was nice and accommodating. Time was tough and maybe tensions were high on the day of the reception causing the attitudes and anger.

Well, the more I thought about it, the more I realized how much it would mean to me & my overseas family to have a video of the day. So, about 2 months before the wedding I signed a contract with GT Modern Creations with my grandfather's generous & early wedding gift. We 'met' via Skype and from the start I knew they were for us. They are a very popular duo lately and I totally see why. Gabriel was super nice, answered all of my questions and knew exactly what he was doing. Due to distance, we did our final meeting over the phone where he helped me to see that we may not have enough time for pics & to do change the timing to do the first look much earlier. That was one of the best moves we made. The whole day went so much smoother. On the day-of, Gabriel, Caritza and their assistant arrived early and were totally unobtrusive the whole day. They were all so incredibly kind and knew exactly what to do so that we finished on time. They even had us re-do walking over for the first look that way there was no one standing behind & messing up the background. They stayed until the end of the reception and captured everything.
