Then a few weeks later I notice that the explanation of benefits showed the over charged me. After calling them many times I asked them if they over charged me and they told me " well yes and no" they told me to wait a few weeks and it will be sorted out and to not be worried unless I get a bill. Well now I am getting a bill from the doctor for $1045, that I already paid to the surgery center. I have called my doctors office and the told me that they have no had any communication from them and they have not been paid from them for the service. I had since had the right-hand carpal tunnel done by the same doctor in October but out of the other facility he works out of and they informed me that they have already been paid for that procedure so not sure what the surgical center is holding my money. I have called twice today with no response and now working on trying to issue a charge back with my credit card company to pay the doctor directly. Will never go here again.

Pretty much a best case scenario when you stumble into a clinic with bronchitis on an afternoon before a holiday.

Dr Liu took all my pain away and gave me back my lifting abilities all while treating me like an actual person, not like a dollar sign as i had been in Erie. he explained the surgery completely, and the team set up everything from my hotel as well as travel to and from the hotel to surgery center. i have often spoke with folks debating on getting surgery done and hands down the most amazing place i've had work done. and because of that, i went to them again last year for detrimental cervical spine issues. In early 2025 was told my spinal column c5-c3 was unstable and in x-rays you could see it tipping off to the left. the pain i endured was so bad, i often thought about just ending existence. my pain was as if someone put red hot coals under my skin and into my muscles from my skull down to my lower lt region and across my entire back and into my shoulder and down both arms...and the pain was 24/7 with zero relief for months. Dr. Bitan preformed a double discectomy with the insertion of 2 cadaver bones and a mesh around c3-5. I INSTANTLY had relief of all that pain. recovery went well as i was back to doing the bulk of my normal life within a couple days and as the pain subsided from the surgery (he really had to move things around as i have a large, muscular neck) i've been accomplishing more and more of my life again (this spring i will go back to cutting firewood) and i've even picked up a few NEW hobbies in life.... However, I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with the Wayne office. Dr. Gritsus himself was great--kind, informative, and professional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his staff, specifically Adriana, the surgical coordinator. I had my initial consultation with Dr. Gritsus on May 19th at 4:30 PM, likely one of the last appointments of the day. At the end of the visit, I was told my surgery could be scheduled. A medical assistant (I assume) informed me that Adriana had already left for the day but would call me the next day to move forward with scheduling. That call never came. I followed up myself on May 23rd. I was told Adriana wasn't answering and that a message would be left for her. Still, I heard nothing. I called again on May 29th and was once again told she had left for the day. I asked about her schedule, and oddly, the staff didn't know it--yet somehow always knew she had "just left." I called back once more on May 30th and spoke with Brian. He was sympathetic and said he would email Adriana, copying in the office manager and her supervisor, to make sure I received a call from her that same day--or by Monday at the latest. It is now Monday afternoon. Still no call. After weeks of being in pain and getting nowhere, I now have no choice but to find another doctor and start the process all over again. It's incredibly frustrating and disheartening. I truly don't understand how someone so critical to the scheduling process can be so unresponsive--and still employed. The office is likely losing revenue and, more importantly, patient trust because of this. Thankfully, my situation isn't life-threatening, but it could be for someone else.

The office staff is amazing and very helpful- especially Lyanna and Brianna- they are super responsive and very attentive during the long process of getting surgery approved by insurance. A doctor friend of mine recommended a surgeon to me that works out of the Morris County Surgical Center and after today I don't know if I'd want to go anywhere else. I was the first on the board this morning so I arrived at 6:30am to a smiling and friendly nurse/receptionist who was very helpful. I was brought to the back where I was taken care of by Elaine, who was very caring and kept me at ease (her British accent was calming). As more people started coming in and milling about I realized that these nurses were awesome and cared about making me feel confident. When I was brought into the ER by my two ER nurses (sorry ladies, I simply cannot remember your names) they, and the Anesthesiologist, quickly got me situated and comfortable and were saying good night. The next thing I remember was waking up in the recovery room with nurse Laura and Dr. Simon talking to me. I've been under the knife six times now and I have never had a better experience than today. The nurses, the doctors, the recovery room...I felt at ease the whole time, from start to finish. This is the first time I came out of anesthesia without the shakes or feeling nauseous. I can't say enough about how great this went. Now I hope my recovery goes as well.

Traveling home to Ct after college visits in Virginia, we learned that a family member ( with whom we had close contact) had tested positive for Covid. From his home computer, my son in law located this Neighborhood Urgent Care because he calculated that it was within a reasonable radius of our intended route home. A big plus was that walk-ins were permitted. Since we were totally dependent on the vagaries of interstate travel, we didn't have the added pressure of arriving at a precise hour. As soon as we opened the door, we were greeted with a huge welcome and big smiles all around. The place was spotless and staffed by women who clearly understood the value of empathy in crisis. We were given tests after staff members checked our vitals and we answered brief questionnaires. My grandson was not traveling with any health insurance card so the staff calmly walked him through the steps necessary to get that information from this parents to their office. And always with a smile. This same attention to the needs of patients was evidenced days later when I needed a hard copy of my test results. My doctor had it within minutes of my request. In a world where the medical field is dominated by big business and lack of personal attention, this clinic is a breath of fresh air. In contrast to the professional and caring attention we received here, I spent over 40 minutes on hold waiting for someone in my own doctor's office yesterday to pick up so I could arrange a telemedicine visit. I wish I lived near Neighborhood Urgent Care. They are stand outs in the field of medicine.
