Hard to find a good place near work and I stumbled upon this little gem it did not disappoint at all I was looking for a simple breakfast and I ordered the Ham, Egg, and Cheese sandwich on Cuban bread and it was delish as well as the Beef empanada for my coworker who enjoyed it very much. Service was friendly and will be returning as there are options I would like to try and the vibe is a good happy one..

    Here for lunch 1st time.

This is my 1st visit here. Came with coworkers for lunch. Had the Cuban sandwich with fries and a cafe con leche. The staff was pleasant the sandwich was very tasty, the bread was a little to wet for me but overall very good, the fries were..well...they were fries, nothing special The cafe con leche was perfect! The prices were good. Will I return? Your damn right I will! I wasnt to try the steak sandwiche! And another cafe con leche plz!

Sunday funday I'd say! What a pleasant surprise this was when we first stepped into this quaint little Cafeteria-Panadera-Deli/Latin Bakery and Sandwich shop. This is the busiest looking 6 table inside and several table outside joint you can imagine. The staff is very polite and helpful which is a big plus and has a very definite Latin flair to it. The menu is extensive with Breakfast and Lunch specials along with an array of sandwiches American and Latin. We ordered the Chivito Original, Bistec special and a Chicken Milanesa Special. We also ordered the Cafe con Leche, Cold Chocolate and a Diet Coke. All our meals were DEELISH!! That was a very filling lunch and extremely reasonable as our entire meal was only $ 33 WITH tax!! (See the attached Menu with pricing in my photos) YELPERS I'd encourage you to try out this place or get a take out from here and I can assure you that you won't be disappointed!! We will Definitely be back!

Pastel de coco and cookie with quince

This was such a fun experience... meeting some fellow yelp friends for an afternoon of coffee and snacks. We got there at three pm and they closed at 4 -- so of course, we moved the conversation to their outside tables. Meanwhile inside, I chose a quince cookie only cause I'd never had one before. It was okay. My favorite was my second choice -- a coconut pastry. Perfectly light and airy layers. We got to taste a bunch of other choices -- as my friends were more than willing to share. The bakery shelves are full of all sorts of delectables and I understand they change frequently. In addition, they offer lunch and breakfast options. I was gifted a beef empanada (they have fish, chicken, cheese, etc. options too) which I had later at home as part of my dinner and it was wonderful when reheated in my toaster oven. The other savory sandwich that I really liked was their "miga". The one I tried was white bread with the crusts cut off and filled with ham and cheese. Think a thin, flattened, tea sandwich. I definitely would have that again. My friends really enjoyed their coffees. I'm a decaf person, so I felt it would be sacrilege even to ask.. but both the expresso and the cappuccino looked amazing and smelled wonderful! I do love the aroma of coffee, don't you? Prices are quite reasonable. It's a small cozy, restaurant. You might need to be adventurous-- just point and try something if you don't understand the translations. And bring your sweet tooth.

Like it's nearby neighbor Toasted Cafe I must have passed this place hundreds of times without paying attention. Thankfully I have great Yelp friends who like to share their good finds. Hence I found myself and a weekday afternoon meeting up with some friends to try some of the offerings of the New Jersey Deli 2. We ended up sharing a mixture of their pastries, sandwiches, and empanadas. I noticed that a lot of their pastries have caramel in them. My favorite was a cake covered in meringue that was yellow sponge on the inside with caramel, cream and peaches. We also had a caramel, cake, and some of the cookies. The beef empanadas were so good I had to get some to go. Empanada flavors come in beef, chicken, ham and cheese, spinach, cheese, cheese and onion, and fish. .Once you make your selection they fry it up for you. The coffee was amazing. It was a lot better than what you get in a coffee shop chain. A lot of care was given to fresh brewing it and topping it with a thick layer of foamy milk. My fancy coffee and a chocolate croissant was only $2.95. Later on I paid for four empandas and the meringue cake and it was only $12.00. They offer both inside and outside seating. I thought the prices are inexpensive for the quality of the food. My friend said lunch is even better so I will have to come back for that. Great food and great company turned an ordinary week day afternoon into a delight.

Very impressive. The staff is multilingual. The coffee con Leche is perfect. Breakfast is awesome. Service is always good. Prices are extremely low. I'll keep coming back again and again.

For starters: New Jersey Deli 2, like the original New Jersey Deli & Grocery in Oakland Park, has nothing to do with New Jersey beyond it being the first home of the owner's relocation from Uruguay to the U.S.A. So, if you're expecting "Jersey" affectations -- Salt water taffy, pork roll on burger buns, big haired waitresses or the Boss' "Born to Run" on the sound system -- sorry you'll be disappointed. However, whether you're a Jersey fan or not, I highly recommend a visit to NJD2. Because the service is sweet, the prices are low, and food is very delicious. Unlike its parent location, there's no "grocery" here, only deli and restaurant food offerings. While the casual food highlights Uruguayan -- a new cuisine for me -- it's also incorporating Cuban and other Latin American countries' cuisines. My first impression was a drive-by and a stop to look at the exterior. In the window on the left side, a woman was meticulously making little white bread sandwiches with crusts cut off -- "miga" sandwiches. A little google research showed them to be a Uruguay standard, like most of their cuisine a result of European infusion. It's a dainty sandwich generally served as an afternoon nosh -- like, the royal queen could stop by for tea and be totally happy with these. I'll be back for them in the future. But for TODAY, it was lunchtime, I was hungry, and the sandwich one customer was eating looked amazing. Scanning the menu quickly, opted to mimic him and got the P9, the "Chivito Original" -- steak, ham, cheese, egg, bacon, tomato and lettuce on Cuban bread, a side of fries included. Upon delivery, I was digging the plating, as casual as it was in its paper-lined plastic basket -- the sandwich speared with olived toothpicks; the fries golden, and both flanked by tubs of catsup and mayo. Upon eating, I was even more impressed. The fries were simple but done perfectly. And the sandwich: each component was nicely done, the meat tender and juicy, the bread toasted just right, the cheese nicely melted, the lettuce and tomato the ideal crisp/fresh counterpoint. It was a simple sandwich with a lot of add-ins, but done simply well. And, filling enough where half was taken home to be eaten for dinner. Beyond the great lunch, and the glimpse of the miga sandwich new to me -- NJD2 boasts an impressive display of baked goods; so many I'd suggest they add "bakery" to their name. Empanadas, flan, pasteles, cookies, etc. With my later 1:30 pm arrival, many were sold out or unavailable. But what was there still looked amazing. Hullo 3pm espresso and sweet thing! Said it before, sayin' it again -- one of the best things about moving to South Florida is the multi-cultural exposure to new food, new drinks, new art, and new ways of experiencing and enjoying life. And, for me, despite its misleading name, New Jersey Deli 2 is a wonderful addition to that experience. It's not fancy and doesn't try to be, and wears its casual crown exceedingly well. Great food, service and prices, it's an easy 5 stars. And oh yeah, it does also serve cold subs -- which, come to think about it, is about as Jersey as it gets. :)

I first visited their Fort…read moreLauderdale location, and when I saw that they called the sandwiches "hoagies" I got a little excited. I grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and back home, subs are called hoagies. In other parts of the country they might be subs or heroes, but not where I'm from. The other regional staple is that we always have birch beer at our hoagie shops. Now, living in South Florida, I rarely find birch beer, but when I do, it's a great day. Well, Laspada has birch beer. On tap. I was in heaven. The other great thing about this place is that the way they make the sandwiches. I'll save the actual construction as a surprise, because you have to see it to believe it, but they put meat on the bread, then load it up with whatever it is you want in the way of vegetation, then more meat on top! This place is awesome! Unless you're a vegan, but then you wouldn't be going to a hoagie shop, so it doesn't matter. But for normal people, it's incredible! Hands down this is my favorite hoagie/sub/hero shop in the area. And they have more than one location so I can get a hoagie pretty much anytime I want one.

If sandwiches had a Hall of Fame, this place would have a first-ballot plaque and its own highlight…read morereel. Walking into LaSpada's Original Hoagies isn't just ordering lunch, it's stepping into a deli version of a live sporting event. There's energy, there's precision, and yes, there's the legendary "airmail" toss of freshly sliced meat flying down the line like it's got somewhere important to be. Blink and you miss it. Smile and you're part of it. I went with my go-to: the Italian. And not just any Italian... this thing shows up dressed to impress. We're talking Boar's Head ham, cappy, pastrami, and provolone, sliced fresh right in front of you, then launched with deli theatrics onto perfectly waiting Italian bread. From there, it gets piled high with crisp veggies and those Italian peppers that quietly steal the show. Every bite hits like it's been rehearsing for years. Somewhere around bite three, I had a moment of clarity: "This isn't a sandwich... it's a commitment." Plot twist... you think you're just grabbing lunch. You're not. You're entering into a multi-meal agreement. A large sub here doesn't just feed you, it sticks with you. Lunch today, lunch tomorrow, maybe a late-night "just one more bite" situation. It's generous in a way that feels personal. My wife ordered the roast beef, and wow. Perfectly rare, ridiculously tender, sliced fresh and yes, sent flying down the line like it had a boarding pass. It was the kind of sandwich that makes you reconsider your own order mid-bite. Quick detour, because it deserves it... the homemade macaroni salad. I don't throw this around lightly, but I'd put it up against anyone's for best in class. Creamy, balanced, and somehow disappears faster than you expect. That's not an accident. And then you remember... this place took home "Best Sub in South Florida" from the Sun-Sentinel in 2025. Not surprising. Honestly, it feels overdue. Micro twist: you walk in thinking you'll try something new next time. You won't. You'll be back for the same order, and you'll be happy about it. After 25+ years in Coral Springs, they're not just consistent, they're automatic. The kind of place where you don't wonder if it'll be good... you just decide how hungry you are. Highest recommendation. Five stars, no hesitation. Final thought: Some places make sandwiches. LaSpada's Original Hoagies makes believers.

The "almost" part was simply the bread was not toasted quite enough to add texture to each soft, creamy bite. My vodka chicken was FANTASTICALLY FIRE! That Vodka sauce, crispy Cutler AND bread were so good but that pasto drizzle sauce took it beyond and chicken parm ever has! The only problem I have (not all) that the breadcrumbs on almost all cutlets are loaded with salt. By the time you add the salt from the sauce, bread, etc., all saucy cutlet sandwiches bite you back on that 1st bite. This one did that also. I feel someone should invent low sodium breadcrumbs JUST FOR chicken cutlet sandwiches. Nevertheless, that pesto sauce seduced my jaws to muscle through and enjoy ever salty bite! Service was a 3 star bc they clearly want you to order from your table. There is a QR bribing code that if you order from your table, you get a free drink and cookie with your meal. Perfect... for antisocials and non-Gen Zers! I was not told this by the ho-hum cashier where I ordered from. I just believe that all cashiers should have a 15 second smile minimum. Although there was a person, cleaning and clearing the tables periodically, our booth was not wiped down. A great surprise was the 2 free cookies I assume they gave for mentioning it was our 1st time there. Parking, in and outdoor seating, and the self serve fountain drinks made it easy to sit and start. With indoor and outdoor seating. Let me start off by saying everything taste super fresh! All the ingredients from the toppings, to the sides and desserts! Service was great! They had tons of cookies, some cinnamon rolls left. No more muffins though. I saw some soups, and puddings. I would have liked to try those as well, but I wasn't going straight home. I'll have to try them next time. The toffee cookie was soft. It was well balanced with just enough toffee and chocolate chip in it. I accidentally got two of the same kind because one of them wasnt labeled. I thought it was a normal chocolate chip cookie but it's okay because I really liked it. The roll was also super soft. It looked like it was a a cinnamon roll? I basically downed the whole thing it was so good. And that was on top of having my half of a sandwich. Sides: We had their potato salad which had a nice tang to it. I didn't get a picture because I ate it and forgot. The coleslaw had a nice crunch to it. But I would try something different-it wasnt for me. Nothing wrong with it just not my cup of tea. Had the dill pickle. Not sure which pickles they use but this one was good! It was refreshing and had a slight dill flavor to the brine. On to the sandwiches! I chose ciabatta because I knew we were going to enjoy them a little later than they were made and it was such a good call. The ciabatta had a chew to it and it avoided having soggy sandwiches. Tuna: I'm a tuna connoisseur. I had it with all the toppings except for cheese. Another-well balanced! I wasn't getting too much olive, or pepper. It was a perfectly made sandwich. The tuna didn't have tang to it. Which is fine. Not everything needs to be vinegar-y. I love a good tuna salad! I did get some bites of small celery. It was a refreshing sandwich. I left half for the end of the night, and it was still delicious! Italian: Had it on sesame ciabatta. It was recommended. It was a nice add! Again perfectly balanced sandwich. Bf said he probably would get just the meat and cheese next time. But that's because he doesn't like veggies i didn't mind it on his sandwich. So it's really preference. I told him we should get the corned beef next because it seems like that's what they promote most on ig. I'd also like to try their blt next time too! Overall I really liked this deli!
